Arrive there 15 min prior to closure (it is the earliest we can get there from SE side after school), the staff refused to process my daughter's blood work. God forbids they work a few minutes past their shifts! Our previous experiences weren't great either. They constantly have an attitude and I do believe they didn't process my previous blood work. The needle work is poor and leaves blue marks. I honestly don't know why I kept going there. Probably the convenience of walk-ins. But now it looks like they can't even accommodate that. read more

I have no idea why they don't have a higher rating on here -- the clinic was clean and well laid out, the process was super fast and efficient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There were some issues with my test order and they helped me sort them out and I still was able to get the test done that same day, which is not how it usually goes with these types of clinics! Very poor service. Phone line provides no way to talk to anyone. I went through lengthy automated appt process over the phone, showed up at my appt time and they had no record of me at all. I had to be counted as a "walk-in" and had to wait an hour while people came in after me and went ahead of me. I waited in my car and got a text saying I was in the system. Then I got a call saying MY text system on my phone must be malfunctioning (but I had just received a text from them). I was super late for work. Absolutely horrible experience. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere more professional. read more

I have been a patient of Quest Diagnostics for over 5 years and each and every time I come in for blood work if I don't have paper lab requests I do not get serviced. No matter how many times my doctor faxes, emails or mails orders to Quest Diagnostics they never have them when I arrive. I can have orders sent four weeks in advance or four days in advance it does not matter. They do not have the ability to keep up with modern technology, they will not see you or call the doctor to get lab orders if they don't have them when you arrive or if you don't have them in your hand when you walk in. I can't believe the ineptitude of having to walk into a clinic in 2022 with paper lab requests in hand to get service. The worst. read more

Used to be a great location! Has literally fallen apart - do not expect the check in process to work, your spot to be there, or them to draw your blood. I'm here for my annual BMI and blood sugar test required by insurance. The girl who completed my test was super fast, courteous and really professional. The office is clean and there's parking right next to the facilities. I was done door to door in 10 mins. Couldn't ask for more, except a scale that took a few pounds off. I was a bit hesitant seeing as there was only 2 stars for this place. However, I set up my appointment up online. I try to call or anything so I can't speak to the complaints about that. I went in arrived a few minutes early and they helped me very quickly. The staff was really nice. Was baffled by the behavior of the front desk person on staff yesterday, and then read these reviews which added some slight context. Definitely understand the frustration over working in a single-staffed facility, but it's one thing to be slightly salty and another to just make someone feel inherently uncomfortable in a medical setting. Trash experience other than the fact that the screening took maybe 10 minutes tops. Quest also doesn't allow you to get in direct contact with an actual human or specific location, so I didn't find out that this location only operates by appointment until arriving on a walk-in basis as advised by my employer and had to return a second time. Not sure if it's always been this way, but would advise to schedule an appointment ahead of time regardless. read more

Yes, it should have a different address - just park at the lower level shopping center nearest the stairs, go up the stairs and it's at the far right corner of the upper level (past the Waverly parking garage). I was skeptical by accounts of other reviews, but after finding the place, the staff was courteous and experienced. I have a feeling that if anyone had a bad experience, it is due to the corporate oversight at the location, i.e. choosing not to staff with more people (it was the phlebotomist that took my blood that also sat at the front desk to check me in), i.e. enabling bad experiences once they're fully booked and have walk-ins. I've worked at places similar where it's completely out of the hands of the staff; it's the companies that run quantity over quality, staff does the best they can with what they're given. The location was extremely clean, staff used appropriate PPE, etc. AND I have to say that she/my phlebotomist was top notch! I've given blood, had a few of blood draws, hospital visits, and surgeries where I now understand I'm not the easiest person to get blood from. I'm small and have small "rolling" veins I've been told. I've had multiple nurses gouge my arms into badly bruising. The Quest phlebotomist that drew my blood did it in one effort, no bruising, no checking other veins - an artist! I did schedule in the morning, too, so I didn't have to compete with a lot of other appointments. read more

Sent me to collections even though we'd been in touch and were rebilling insurance and they told me they wouldn't send me to collections. I've never been sent to collections in my life. And this was over a $30 charge that they couldn't tell me what it was for. My health insurance didn't know what it was for either. read more

For the second time, lab requisitions my doctor sent my neighborhood Quest lab didn't appear on their system. Sick, without breakfast or coffee (required for the bloodwork), I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment this time, but I did forget the paper backup copy my doc had given me "just in case" (her patients regularly have this problem with Quest). Sure enough, my paperwork was not in the computer when I arrived, just like last time. So I got on my doc's patient portal, found the lab order, and emailed it to the Quest front desk person. Because the document didn't array on her screen precisely, she refused to take me. I kept trying to problem solve (offered to bring in paper form after the fact--she had the order right before her eyes and I didn't want to lose my appointment slot). I also tried to call my dr's office, but they weren't in yet. The front desk person, who was less than polite and very loud -- other patients heard every word -- demanded my doctor's number to call them herself, even though I'd already done so and told her this. She told me the doctor should have faxed the order because "emails get lost". I'd finally had enough. Knowing how impossible it is to reach anyone with power at Quest by phone (they hide from our wrath!), I asked for her manager's name and number. She gave me a generic business card and said, "I'll call her myself!" I said please don't. She ignored me and did. Again, she was not very nice and trash-talked about me in my presence and in front of another client. At that point, I silently walked out, drove home, and got the paper copy of the order and returned. She had taken a black magic marker and scribbled through my name on the sign-in sheet -- one last nasty act -- and made me re-sign in. I tried to hand her my lab order and she would neither take it or look at me, so I set it on her work area. I asked how long my wait would be, and she ignored my question. I'm writing this as I'm waiting, watching her be abusive and unhelpful to others. The front-desk person also screwed up my insurance verification and tried to demand double my normal co-pay. And when I was called back, who was the blood drawing tech? The same venomous person. I refused service and walked out. I will drive many miles if necessary to avoid this lab in the future. I wouldn't give Quest more business if it were the last lab on earth. You shouldn't either. read more

Scheduled an appointment at 3:30 to get a drug screening test in which Quest sent me a confirmation email with the time and location of the test. I arrived at 3:30 and the front desk woman told me they did not do drug screening after 3:30 and that the confirmation email I received confirming my appointment didn't mean anything... After reading the reviews, I was worried to use this office. I almost called my doctor and asked her to switch me elsewhere. I am SO glad, however, that I decided to give this location a try. The office took me a bit to find (inaccurate navigation system), but once I noticed that the clinic was in the Westover Shopping Center, it was easy peasy. If you like *clean* parking lots, *clean* clinics, and *clean* enjoyable areas, I suggest giving this location a try. The staff was kind and helpful, as well as willing to answer my quick questions about the bloodwork. I showed up as a walk-in and was in and out within 20 minutes. The phlebotomist who took my blood samples was professional, quick, accurate, and curteous. In order to keep my wait time down (being a walk-in), I got there as close to opening as possible. From there, the 15-minute wait was no issue whatsoever. Lastly, there's a Pharmaca in the same shopping center if you need to fill a prescription or would like to browse a decent selection of natural/organic/non-GMO/etc. supplements and toiletries. read more

Had my labs done the phlebotomists was very respectful very painless glad I went the lady was super pleasant got all my orders in a timely manner. Although she worked alone I myself had to be patient with wait time . I believe that quest hired a great phlebotomist a very good access to the company keep up the great work. read more

I have been twice in the last month and both times the experience - for different reasons - were terrible. The first time I waited for 45 minutes passed my scheduled time, while they took others before me, for no reason. When I arrived early, I checked in on my phone, they called me in and then had me wait for an additional 30 min. If they had told me they were busy, backed up, etc that would have been fine. But the woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and condescending - not only to me, but to anyone else who came in and asked a question. The second time was better as my technician was calm, nice and helpful but then it took THIRTEEN DAYS to get my results. I contacted Quest repeatedly with no luck. Bloodwork is critical in some instances, including my situation. This was disappointing, unprofessional and needless to say I will never return to a Quest operation for bloodwork again. read more

Sent here for a drug screen which is very typical and frequent in my line of work. There are 8 people waiting and there's only one girl working today. That's one girl to do all the blood draws, all the drug screens and all the check-in's and all the office work. Ridiculous. This is a huge national company and there is zero excuse for poorly staffing your locations, especially in a large city. I have no idea how long the wait will be. Relocated to Portland so I was sent here for drug screening. Like the two other reviews it looks like this location just has one girl working and she's not to pleasant. But she has a lot on her hands since she is doing everything from checking people in, doing the drug screening and other office work. They need to staff this location properly so that it is not just one person doing everything. When I came in they already had 3 people waiting. Two others came in after I did and they were helped before I was. I didn't want to make a big deal because I didn't know if they were there before I was and stepped out because of the long wait. You can tell she is doing the best that she can but she lacked customer service skills probably due to her being the only person with no help. read more

I came here for a random drug test a couple weeks ago, My employer calls me and says they did not receive my results which was odd because the nurse told me the results should get to your employer within two days. So I run home to look at my paperwork that I was given before I walked out of their clinic and come to find out my last name is not even close, my employer is not even close, and the reason for screening shows for a pre employment when my paper clearly says RANDOM DRUG SCREENING. Smdh. What gets me is there was only me and one other person in the lobby so for them to drop the ball is pretty insane. They ask for your ID and hold it till after the screening but not exactly sure why if you're going to have a mix up like this anyways. You try to call their office and you can't even get through to a human. This place is trash! Area is beautiful tho. Good luck! read more

They say that 'appointments are probably not needed' which you should take to mean 'you will be waiting for a very long time regardless of whether you have appointment'.
