Once you discover that your insurance provider will cover the Obesity Prevention/Weight Loss Counseling Program. You will save yourself much of the money you would've spent on the commercial programs and be left with only your regular insurance copay. Vivify Wellness Center does offer shake mixes & bars but these are simply optional tools to help you on the way to your goal weight! It's not mandatory that you purchase the shakes/bars. They're an option if you want to. Seriously, I almost feel like I'm cheating when I think of the money I'm saving by working with Dr. Anamekwe versus the commercial weight loss programs. Believe me, I've about tried them all. That's exactly what it is too, you work together with Dr Anamekwe as she coaches you to a new way of eating. She'll tell you on your first visit, "Where you are is not your fault! Appointments are often overbooked so every visit will include extended wait times (1 hour+) without considering the scheduling of other patients. The doctor herself is highly knowledgeable but takes a wholistic approach to mental healthcare trying to find alternative solutions to lifelong clinical mental health issues. I was made to feel like I was the only patient she's ever seen with ongoing issues as her solutions that may have worked for other patients, did not work for me. She is also dismissive and doesn't fully listen to your wants and needs. At my most recent appointment, she did not understand my request for microdosing to continue experiencing weight management while saving on cost. She provided no clear timeline for tapering off of Zepbound to maintain my current weight and made me feel that she could no longer help me and failed to refer me to a specialist. I do not recommend this facility unless you are extremely overweight and believe in wholistic mental health treatment. I submitted this review on Yelp as her Google reviews are typically deleted or commented on to put blame on the patient.

The medical staff working were mostly professional in completion of their job. This visit left me irritated with several issues and less than likely to return in the future. The provider also seemed completely different at the six-month follow-up, not focused at all on what she had said at the previous visit. I will not return. On another note, be wary of Google reviews that indicate 276 five star ratings! I have now had two bad experiences in Rockwall because I trusted the Google reviews.
