Extremely rude staff who said it was "too late" after telling me the ICD 10 code was missing (it wasn't. My Dr had it in the order on their end and had to resend it to them.) The brunette working at 12pm on 01/31 provided the WORST service and had the most awful attitude. She needs to be coached on what proper customer service is, especially when I didn't come in with an attitude at all, and she called the wrong name instead of mine after making me wait for 20 minutes without any notice and I had an appointment at 12pm too. read more

It's ridiculous how they make walk ins wait. I get that appointments are "priority" but the fact that they don't call walk-ins at all is really insane. They might as well make it appointments only with no walk-ins. People with appointments can also wait. They should do it where they call some appointments and then walk-ins. If they choose to simply call appointments only. Then simply don't allow walk-ins to check in. That way there's not people wasting half a day to get one thing done. read more

This place was pretty good when I had some blood work done a few months ago. I first came in and the place was jammed packed. So I made an appointment to come back at a later time. When I showed up, I was taken right away with no wait time. I was brought in by a young lady named Genavie,. we talked briefly and she asked if " I mind that she's an intern'? I said "No' and then she grabbed the her devices and drew my blood. Genavie did a great job and was very informative. Since I got inside , the lady in the front brunette was rude. I've obviously gotten blood drawn before & it hurt really bad, never has hurt that bad before. It was my first time at Quest and I'm disappointed, I didn't have enough pee for the cup and the lady was like "well I can't use that." We were told by my sons employer that Quest stopped drug screens at 4pm. We got here at 2:58. Then we were told that they stop at 3. This is my sons first job, first drug test etc. while we were waiting his boss called him. He gets up and proceeds to walk out of the lobby (so he wasn't being rude) both of the ladies yelled at my son that he couldn't be on his phone. I say, it's his boss, maybe there's a problem. I've been here twice but I don't recall my first visit here. But this time, everything went smoothly. I was here for a drug test for pre employment and the lady in the front was very friendly, too bad I didn't catch her name. Anyhow, she took my ID and reference number and told me to sit down and I waited no more than 5 minutes and I was called up. Marie was the lady to help me through the process and she explained everything step by step. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Yup, easy peasy. No complaints here! read more

Thank you Yelp! someone on here said they made an appt. so i did too. because I tried calling the place and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. it just keeps ringing and ringing. went in for pre-employment: urine test. Walk in, about 5-6 people in waiting room. there is no one at the front desk...busy in the back. sign my name on the clipboard. and there's a little section that asks if you have an appt. to list your appt. time. so i did. i noticed that the other people on the clipboard did not have appt. times. I waited about 6 min to be called up. it was REALLY QUICK! people were still waiting when I left, i guess they may have been there to get other tests. Make an appointment online! :) read more

The two ladies at the front desk did not seem to know too much about their profession. I handed them some day old samples of saliva to be tested and they immediately threw them out. They searched up how long the samples were good for afterwards just to find out that the samples were good for 5 days. They were also pretty arrogant when talking to me, not knowing that I have a bachelor's degree in MCD Bio and could tell that half the things they said were bullshit. read more

Got there at 3:25 to take a drug test for pre employment. They stop drug testing at 4:00. So I sat there for maybe 20 minutes dreading for it to be 4:00. I wanted to ask questions but no one was in the front desk. After someone finally came to the desk she asked everyone in the waiting room "everyone is here for blood work right"? No..... I had a 9:00am appointment that I made online last night for this morning. I got here at 8:50 and it was packed. I signed in and sat down, they called me within 2 mins to register me. They were rude lots of people waiting to be seen and seen very slowly they tried to charge me money for my sick baby to be seen when he has insurance and he's covered under my insurance and knew that they could build me but tried to take cash for me anyway my baby was only 3 or 4 days old at the time I would never go here again read more

I was pleasantly surprised as I walked in to be greeted by two very friendly ladies. They answered all my questions and took me right back. The process was very quick and I didn't feel a thing! They billed insurance under the wrong member number despite my giving them a copy of the most current card at the time of my visits. It's like it was in their system wrong so nobody every bothered to update it and make the correction. Same is true of my address change - they billed my old address. My mail doesn't forward any longer but one such letter got through. It was a demand letter for over $1200 (with no contact information what-so-ever) referring me to how I could dispute the "decision" through Anthem Blue Cross and to CA Dept of Health so I can sign up for Covered CA. So I called Hill's Physicians and was given a number to Quest that was disconnected. I called again - got two more numbers to try. On one of these the wait time was posted as 15 minutes and I was referred to the website. But the demand letter doesn't give me an account number or lab code they requested, so the website is useless. Seven (7) calls back and forth to Hills and Quest local offices and finally, I found an obscure number on the website for "customer service". The woman who answered after 15 rings said she would stay on the line with me until I reached "the right person". I placed my call at 2:54 and after a lengthy wait finally spoke with someone. It's 3:25 and I just hung up the phone (I typed this review, including re-setting my yelp password, while waiting on hold). Gee, I wonder why their wait times are so long? As messed up as Quest Diagnostics back office is, I just can't imagine what would happen to my lab samples and test results. read more

It's a shame Quest is in the healthcare business because they don't really care about the sick! If there is any way to get your lab work anywhere else I strongly suggest you take that route. In the many times I have had to use this company there was only one worker who really knew what she was doing (Amanda you are great and this opinion does not include you or your skills) the others were rude and it was obvious they are in it for a paycheck only. News flash people that come to you are usually sick and could use a little bedside manors so please treat us like you would want to be treated. The other problem is not only are they in general unpleasant but also incompetent, if your looking for additional help well your barking up the wrong tree!
