On my most recent trip to Quest Imaging, i was there for over an hour for a few tests. But the staff are so nice and you can tell they are really trying to do their best at everything. From patient care, to their daily duties. It was nice with no TVs on in the waiting areas this time. While I wish I could skip the check in process, I know that the consistency in application helps the staff and the patient. The only thing I could recommend is that they make so minor repairs to a few things, like the blinds and the restroom could use some repairs. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Have your doctor print out your order and go to kern radiology instead. They won't make an appointment for you for X-rays and may not even give you one if you show up in person. Staff is very condescending and unprofessional. I needed X-rays of my spine because of extensive reconstructive back surgery. I showed up 2 1/4 hours before they close after I called and they told me on the phone I should be seen. They said the wait was over an hour but I needed to get it there because my doctor put the order directly into their system through Adventist hospital. Upon arrival I was told that they weren't taking anymore walk ins try back tomorrow. Waiting room had about 4 people in it. Walked with my walker and recovering back 4 buildings down to kern radiology. Waited about 15 minutes and they had my X-rays done. Just tell them at Quest Imaging to print out your order. I've always had a great experience at Quest Imaging on Stockdale Highway. The facility is clean, modern and has a great lobby. On a recent visit I had a procedure done that took less than an hour - when I expected it to be several. Every interaction from the front staff, to billing, to the rad-tech was pleasant and dare I say, enjoyable! I was able to get my results sooner than anticipated, too. My only negative would be the long wait times to book an appointment. I wish this could be via an online portal! read more

The staff here were nice for the most part, besides the fact that they were pretty lazy. There were little patients here yet I ended up sitting for about 2 hours waiting after being told a "45 minute wait". The staff did not seem busy, just as if they chose to stall. There were multiple x rays open and staff sitting around, while I was in immense pain sitting in a chair for 2 hours. I came here to fix my back/hip problems, and sitting in their chairs for that long made me leave feeling 10x worse then when I entered. Been here twice this year. One time was a fairly quick wait time even though I had an appointment. The other time was pretty lengthy. My real issue is with their billing and customer service. Its bottom of the barrel, at best. They charged me extra for a calcium scan a month after the test was completed as I paid cash for the test at time of scanning. Then as I called to schedule another MRI I requested this small balance be removed as it really was a silly billing error on their part and they denied it. They refused to let me talk to a supervisor and said they have NEVER ever credited any amount to any customer so they wouldnt be starting with me. Obviously that was a silly lie but they really held to it. I stated that this MRI would be $500 to $2000 of revenue for THEM and crediting $7 would be good faith to me and that I would keep the appnt. They refused. Scheduling refused. Customer service refused over the phone, over chat, over portal requests. So I cancelled the MRI and will go to kern rad. I wont be back. They lost my business and my family's business and I will tell anyone who will listen to go anywhere but quest. Adventist Health is getting very big and very uncaring about its customers. And to be given an option to credit $7 of bad faith billing in order to secure an MRI appnt that was already made and scheduled to be scanned that week is atrocious business practices. I went in for two XRays and was told it would be 45-60 minutes. I was called back to registration within 15 minutes and from there, right to the ladies locker room to change. My tech was Faith and she was fantastic!!! Very friendly and kind. I had a very good experience at Quest and my wait time was not anywhere near 45-60 minutes. Thank you Quest!! read more

The walk in X-ray system is a joke. It took us three times to actually get in for my daughter's basic foot x-ray. Also, be advised that the waiting time the reception gives you is not accurate. We were told at check in that the wait was 45 minutes. An hour later during registration we were told that 45 minute wait began once we were actually registered and placed in waiting room in the back. Bring a book, a snack, water, a phone charger ... and don't make other plans for the rest of your day. Ha! Kidding but also kinda not kidding. read more

They only care about certain people .....made my 5 yr old autistic grandson go by his self....whom is delayed in speech .....took every person who was after us and made us wait to the last went to stock dale first made me come back at 3 pm turned us away for the sec time then went to Chester and its not easy having 3 little ones and waiting for 2 hrs just for a xray tried to mk appt but they are only walk ins so I was frustrated by the time I get back there so I was talking to the guy who was very nice but out of the back came some old lady telling I can't talk to them any way I want which obviously she has no idea how I could be ..but its ok to treat you anyway they want and not say anything sorry wrong girl ..I have every right to be upset what happened today its unprofessional and not ok .....and then for you to pick and chose who's next and not go in order is ridiculous then she gives me a number w a name on it says its the manager .....and the number was disconnected...... thats ok I will be calling ...... read more

Be prepared for a long wait. It doesn't matter if you are the first one in the door when they open, there will be a long wait. Staff is friendly, but feels like they are all new. Takes forever for them to get the machines ready for an MRI or xray. And the tvs are never on, so bring something to entertain yourself. read more

Have had my appointment cancelled and rescheduled twice. I understand that things like this happen but the person I spoke with (Shannon) was very rude. I didn't make an appointment because I came over right after my visit w/ my PCP. My temperature was checked on arrival and I was told wait time could be up to 40 minutes. Luckily I was called back by the patient access representative w/in 10 minutes. After spending about 5 minutes w/ her making sure my insurance info was all in order she took me to the locker room. I changed into a gown and put my items in a locker. My wait time was only a few minutes then the Xray technician took me to the exam room. She was quick, but pleasant. I returned to the locker room, changed into my street clothes and I was all done. Test results were sent to my PCP in a few days. read more

My son needed spine x-ray's the dishonest Dr (i call him that because he was that's in another review lol) Quest is in network let's get that outa the way this was before the stupid contract issues with BCBS and my EOB states this was in network as well so if they respond to this review Boom you can't say that was the reason! Anyway the place was empty when we arrived i'm assuming now the reason for that is everyone but me knows out the backwards billing practices they give regularly here ;)....Registration/billing sweet as a sugary pecan pie but don't let that fool you now the billing department are not! This is a stand alone imaging center and lab in no way is it at a hospital. Let's fast forward to now the bill i received in the mail from them and let's also refer to the EOB i received from bcbs. Bill said i owe $390 i was like what in the actual hell!! You see X-rays are covered 100% zero deductible on my plan always!! So i read the EOB and it says this is an In network hospital you saved money by visiting an in network HOSPITAL!! Ok well no we didn't go to a hospital! I read further it said since these services were done in a hospital this would apply to my deductible and i will owe the hospital $390!! Well i guess Quest teleported my son to the hospital to get these X-rays without me knowing?? i'm baffled i've been here before for CT's etc and i have never had to pay it's never been billed this way saying it was done in the hospital what the hell is going on Quest?? Nothing was said during registration and billing that my insurance would be billed as if we were in the hospital i was not given the chance to leave and go somewhere that has honest business ethics in billing...no other imaging/radiology/lab place here does that it's pretty fraudulent if you ask me you go in...in network knowing radiology is covered 100% on your plan and Boom you then get a big bill that basically says Surprise!! You've just been had!! Oh i'm sure i will have a ton of fun talking to my insurance company they're idiots too for letting stand alone affiliated or not radiology or labs bill extremely high bills assuming a hospital status for services that were indeed never performed at an actual hospital! I pay so much money for coverage like everyone else does and dumb ass places like this are trying to get ahead make their money back during a pandemic the wrong way! I've needed to get an X-ray for a week now. Due to them "only taking walk ins" for X-rays I have been turned away THREE times! They say due to high volume they aren't taking any more walk ins. BUT they don't take scheduled appointments for X-rays either... I feel like allowing appointments will take always from the "high volume" issue. I left work early on 2 occasions trying to get there in time. I arrived at 3 and still got turned away when they close at 6!! Incredibly annoyed and trying not to be a Karen, but COME ON! read more

Quest aImaging is such a beautiful place to go for any diagnostic need you have. They have a television in the spacious waiting room and lots of magazines you can read. The employees from the front desk to the one who takes you back for your paperwork to the technician are all very professional and friendly. They helped put my mother at ease. She had a ultra sound today and the girl who helped her was professional and kind to my mother who was in pain. I highly recommend this business. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have called to make an appointment to get an MRI and CT Scan done. I talked to someone after waiting almost an hour to call back. Then they tell that I needed the orders in front of me to make an appointment. I asked did she have my approval from my insurance she said no. I asked can I go in person and make a appointment she said yes. I go to Quest Imaging on Chester Ave they tell me that I cannot make a appointment in person. I need to fill out a form for someone to call me back. I called Adventist Health hospital and talked to someone they told to go to the Stockdale location. I drive on very to the Stockdale location Quest Imaging. The person tell me that they do not make appointments in person you have to call or fill out a form to be called back. I told her that I have been waiting now almost an hour to be called back. She said it's nothing that I can do you just have to wait to someone call you back. This makes no sense at all. I just got a call back from a person named Shannon she was very rude and unprofessional. I have a pacemaker and I gave the information. She was raising her voice at me, I had to tell her that I'm not your child. They need people with patience. I will never have any more imaging done here because of her attitude. read more

Quest will bill you as if you were hospitalized. They farm the bill to a hospital which is typically not fully covered. Whatever insurance doesn't cover...you get stuck with. Even if your insurance fully covers annual wellness. For routine imaging, Mamagram for example. They don't tell you in advance. WATCH OUT! Scammers! Emma T. read more

I am impressed with the lack of waiting time here. Getting xrays can be a pain but I have been here twice and I would recommend this place. They accept insurance which is a good thing. It is a business so there is about 10 min. worth of paperwork in a room with a staff member prior to the xrays but everyone I have met has been courteous and professional. You can change in private in a men's or woman's area you are taken to and then you will be called to the xray room. They even have a locker to place your purse and jacket in the waiting area and you hold onto the key. Keep your phone with you though as there are not a lot of magazines and no TV in the smaller waiting areas. read more

My daughter got referred here for a X-ray of her abdomen regarding her intestines. I was so nervous when my pediatrician sent me over. I thought it was going to be a super long wait and the bill would put me in debt. The gentleman at the front was so sweet. He was great at directing people traffic and answering questions. They gave my daughter a coloring book and crayons while we waited. It was so sweet, especially since I was unprepared and sent over during a appt with her personal doctor. The woman who checked us into the computer and got insurance info was very knowledgeable and professional. She made sure we were comfortable and that I didn't need anything special since my daughter has autism. The radiologist was a little stern, but when dealing with a special needs child sometimes you need to be. The X-ray was over before we knew it. I don't think we were even there a full hour. I just got my bill after insurance and it was MUCH LESS than I was expecting! Quest definitely knows what they are doing! read more

I had some issues with getting a CTA moved from Kern Radiology to Quest for scheduling issues to far out at Kern Radiology with insurance but Sabrina from scheduling at Quest is an A+ on her customer service and keeping me updated and it being swapped with authorization info and an issue with insurance faxing paperwork. She helped me through it and kept me updated on top of it going out of her way. Would be nice if more people took her mentality at their jobs. I have not done my CTA yet but will update then. Okay, so no one likes getting a mammogram but we have to do it. My appointment was at 12:15 with an 11:45 check in time. I was called back to complete forms at 12:00 and then taken back for my mamo. Cinnamon was incredibly nice. She was friendly and professional and very efficient. I was 100% done and back in my car by 12:25. If you have to have something uncomfortable done it's nice that they were prompt and friendly!! read more
