From patient care, to their daily duties. It was nice with no TVs on in the waiting areas this time. While I wish I could skip the check in process, I know that the consistency in application helps the staff and the patient. The only thing I could recommend is that they make so minor repairs to a few things, like the blinds and the restroom could use some repairs.

    Been here twice this year. One time was a fairly quick wait time even though I had an…read moreappointment. The other time was pretty lengthy. My real issue is with their billing and customer service. Its bottom of the barrel, at best. They charged me extra for a calcium scan a month after the test was completed as I paid cash for the test at time of scanning. Then as I called to schedule another MRI I requested this small balance be removed as it really was a silly billing error on their part and they denied it. They refused to let me talk to a supervisor and said they have NEVER ever credited any amount to any customer so they wouldnt be starting with me. Obviously that was a silly lie but they really held to it. I stated that this MRI would be $500 to $2000 of revenue for THEM and crediting $7 would be good faith to me and that I would keep the appnt. They refused. Scheduling refused. Customer service refused over the phone, over chat, over portal requests. So I cancelled the MRI and will go to kern rad. I wont be back. They lost my business and my family's business and I will tell anyone who will listen to go anywhere but quest. Adventist Health is getting very big and very uncaring about its customers. And to be given an option to credit $7 of bad faith billing in order to secure an MRI appnt that was already made and scheduled to be scanned that week is atrocious business practices. Your shareholders should be ashamed.

After the MRI, she was also very helpful, getting me a CD of my MRI and also letting me know that the results had already been directly sent to my doctor. Great employee! However, the young man who actually did my MRI was not warm and friendly, and when I saw something that looked like a chair in the room and asked him about that, stating that I was there for a standing MRI, he assertively informed me there was "no such thing" as a standing MRI, which is what I was there for. And he's very wrong, as it's even on their website that they have it, although they call it a Fast Front Open MRI. So even though I have injuries from my neck to my tailbone, I still had to sit on a 2" cushion for 30 minutes, being told I could not move at all for that entire time or he was going to have to start over again. So this was NOT a good experience from him, and I contacted management there and informed them of what he had said and how he said it, and suggested he needed more training to be familiar with not only the treatment options offered there. but also what is posted on the website. I'm surprised all the time at how a lot of these types of positions filled by employees who seem totally unaware or I'm concerned that the people they're dealing with in these medical offices are in acute pain, and to be spoken to with empathy and compassion. They need training on body language, tone of voice, eye contact, and the correct and caring terminology to use to speak to patients.

Good movie selection, to take your mind off the cramped space. I'm not claustrophobic but I don't think I've ever sat in the same position with my shoulders pressed forward for that long before. Comfort level was a 10/10. They opened at 615am for me and it made the experience quick and easy. The lady at the front of the office was kind and ready to get me into the back to get things started. Once I was in the back they got me in the room and set me up on the machine. Overall care and quality was excellent.

Problem is I can't leave & come back. I have to wait here! The greeting staff was not particularly friendly. No one texts to let you know there will be more than an hour long wait. The building was very cold. They have 8 pin pad lockers to put your clothing and personal items. Three of the eight lockers are broken. I'm short and the three broken lockers were the easiest to reach but were unavailable due to needing repairs. The changing room was a mess with an overflowing bin of used robes. The young woman who did my MRI was very nice though. The only redeeming part of my entire visit.

Why send me information to call kern radiology only NOT reach you talk to another agency then be transferred to you for assistance. That is not effective. Don't give false information for patients to call. I work in a medical call center I know how frustrating that it. Now to the appointment. My appointment was 10:20. I was told to be here at 10am. It's an hour later later and I'm still here. All I'm being told is you're running behind. This office is chaotic. People just keep coming in. The people beside me have been waiting for over two hours for a simple x-ray. Kern Radiology used to be amazing. But I'm not sure anymore. When I got to my actual procedure it was smooth sailing. The tech and the doctor were very nice and pleasant. Both explained the procedure step by step. I pleased with them. In and out in like 20 minutes if that. They were a great team.

The technician was polite and gave instruction for the x-ray in detail. I was comfortable. The only con was, they were super busy and the wait was extensive, but it's understandable. I really mean that in ALL sincerity!! STUPENDOUS. Erica and Liz treated me like I was their mother. Respectful, kind, offering assistance whether needed or not, very communicative regarding my safety, i.e., the floor sloping, the upraised copper threshold leading in to the MRI room, and even where the bar was on the MRI machine - guiding my hand to grab it for my safety. UNHEARD OF PROFESSIONALISM THIS DAY AND AGE. As far as the reviews I read that have few stars, after I read them, I honestly couldn't fully understand what the review was trying to convey. Was it because of the lack of education regarding sentence structure, vernacular, proper grammar, punctuation, stream of consciousness when attempting to write an ENGLISH sentence to convey to the reader just what the writer means??? Oh gosh, you got me... WTF? Where did these people go to school? In the United States...oh, yes, most assuredly - or hey, maybe not? Who the HELL knows these days? I even had the speechless experience at a local medical office when the MA who took my blood pressure admitted they did not know what the word OCCASIONALLY meant - and most assuredly, did not have any idea how to spell it.     Had a MRI with contrast. Andrea called the day before my scan to remind me no food drinks or water…read more4hrs hours before my scan. I got there 7:30am. The girl at the front desk was really polite and welcoming. The waiting area was clean and plenty of chairs to sit in. The girl who took me back was really nice and explained clearly where to change, use the temporary locker and where to sit. My scan went by fast. The nurse who put my IV, the nurse who setup the machine for the contrast and the MRI technician were very professional clear and welcoming. It was a great experience for a 61 year old senior. Thank you to all the staff there great job. I recommend this location.

It was MLK holiday and granted, a lot more patients in the queue. When we finally got to the front of the line, despite having provided the copy of the appointment confirmation, the gal still looked at me dumbfounded. Upon entering, there's a whole side of at least 4 clerks who check in customers and process insurance information. Their vibes were off because it looks like they are all miserable.. on an early Monday morning no less. People come to this establishment, not because they want to, but because they need to. Whether it's a simple x-ray, mammogram or an MRI, people at the customer desk need to show a bit more compassionate. Yes, it's monotonous work but it's important work. The radiologic techs are excellent. Just by observing from the lobby, they show care when dealing with patients. Administrative clerks on the other hand, worst customer service I've seen as of late from a medical facility.
