However, the day before my emissions light came on. Online search showed it could either be the catalytic converter or the O2 sensors. I assumed O2 sensors and told the owner. He did all the fluid changes first at reasonable prices, then hit me with the cost of changing the O2 sensors... HE SAID $500. I should have said NO but didn't since it was an emissions light. He made it seem at first like it would take hours to get the part and install. It took 20 minutes. I then looked online at what the actual cost was of the sensors and the typical cost to do it... $30 for sensors on Amazon. $100 for labor (if they did a full hour) For a 15 min job and $30 parts at $500... I GOT RIPPED OFF! But after realizing I had gotten ripped off after the job was done the most annoying part of it all was that the owner kept consistently telling me at his front desk area on 4 separate occasions that he, "always gave fair prices" and "isn't trying to scam anyone". In retrospect, the fact that he kept saying these things repeatedly to me as my car was being worked on should've been an indicator that he was shady. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THIS AUTO SHOP, PLEASE REMEMBER TO LOOK UP WHAT THE ACTUAL PRICES ARE OF THE PARTS YOU NEED REPAIRED ONLINE FIRST AND ALSO ASK HOW LONG THE REPAIR WILL TAKE. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE... Would give only 1 Star but gave 2 since he did complete the other fluid changes/flushes at fair pricing.

They…read morefixed the repairs but damaged my horn which didn't honk at all, the airbag was deactivated, the turn signal would not cancel after a turn, and every single button on my steering wheel. They acted like they had no idea how it happened. So I made an appointment for them to fix it and they told me I would have to leave the car because it's gonna take a few hours. I took the car but stayed because I wanted to make sure they fixed it correctly. They had my car outside waiting to be serviced next so I went across the street to the diner to eat and lasted about 40mins. By the time I came back, they had already finished repairing my vehicle. I found that weird since they said it'll take hours. They fixed everything I mentioned above except the left turn signal didn't cancel after a left turn. So I took the car back about an hour later and they said they couldn't fix it because they need to order a part for it. I'm not a mechanic but if they fixed the right turn signal, I don't see why they need a part to fix the left turn signal. I spoke to Frankie about it and he was very unprofessional and standoffish about it. He even said he doesn't have time for the conversation and kept interrupting me when I was trying to explain my gripe. He kept saying his shop didn't cause it but I didn't hand my vehicle to them with those issues so I kept asking him who was it then? The repairs were paid through SilverRock insurance which seems to me they were trying to get as much from them as possible. Especially since the first time I took my vehicle, Frankie told me they weren't going to take the initial claim because it was a lot of work but "business is slow." I see why business is slow.

They also received a well-deserved recognition from YELP this year -- I can't say enough about their attentiveness and prompt service. I brought in two vehicles to get oil changed (they do not take reservations for oil changes, it is first-come first-served), and both vehicles was done within an hour, even accommodating our tight schedule that we had planned for today! There's a slight price difference of additional $5 to $10 since last we visited; however, the prices are truly reasonable compared to nearby auto garages. I was told that the prices will go up in 2026 so if you haven't changed your oil yet, I would totally go for it before that happens! As per usual, they did more than just the oil change, they checked for pressure and brakes, as well as windshield wiper fluid and gave a once look over to see if there's anything that needs to be addressed right away. They never try to upsell anything and never felt any pressure to do any kind of service with them. What a luxury also to go into a heated lounge upstairs, prepped with Keurig style coffee, and snack and water while you wait. Definitely our family's TO-GO mechanic for sure!!

I have a jeep wrangler so they used my spare tire on the back. I told them beforehand that although the nail was there, I never recieved notification on my dashboard. They also informed me that they were unable to patch/plug it in. they were experts/truly experienced, they would've tested the tire for Air, but instead they swapped out my spare with the "nailed tire" and told me I needed to pay over $300 for a new tire. Andre did the swapping. I just so happened to be passing by another tire shop in the area and they told me that the nail didn't penetrate the tire and that a new tire wasn't necessary at all. They also informed me that had mavis tested the tire, I would've saved time ...and money. Mavis just wanted to make a quick hick instead of retaining a loyal customer.
