Had a new shut off valve cut and put in in less than 10 min. Great price, execution, and customer service. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to prevent other potential frustrations. Request response: "...2 options...cut the pipe and use a rubber coupling or try to remove it from the wall which is the better way but would take longer" - quoted price $400 or less. 6.8: Jeff came to install. When leaving, asked if pay was cash/check, discount with cash. Price dropped $50 - he didn't have correct change, he increased charge to meet his change. Didn't have receipts on hand, wrote an artificial one on another company's paper, stating he'd drop one off that night - never dropped off, told it was going to be 'tomorrow'. 6.9: Still no receipt. "Promise"(d) to drop one off Sunday. 6.11: Jeff at our neighbors house, said "hi" while there - didn't leave a receipt for us, stated he didn't have any more, he would pick some receipts up & mail one "today." We continued to inquire about the charge as only rubber couplings were placed, not actual new piping - what the $400 quote was for - less if he did the couplings. No response. 6.12: Message resent. Response - he didn't know what we were asking. Reminded, still no receipt & questioned charges. No response. Message resent & asking if he would meet us on a pricing point. 6.13: Multiple messages sent, no response. We requested to meet at $250 - "absolutely not." We asked to meet at $300 as the more expensive option was not done, no response. Reported to the BBB, was told we needed to get it down or threatened with attorney involvement. Stated he already offered reimbursement. Explained we were never told anything about any reimbursement to date. We reminded him again that we paid cash & he stated a receipt was already sent, then was told no receipt had been sent. Inquired about the charge, with what I feel, a not so pleasant voicemail. 6.14: Requested to have all communication texted so no one could 'lie'' as accused. Again asked for clarification on job done and price. Jeff's response "open the bottom of the cabinet." Not being plumbers, we requested explanation. Continued to inquire for clarification, we resent a copy of the original receipt, still no updated receipt. Again asked what the job was, to confirm a receipt and $60 were in the mail. Jeff's response, "...all of your neighbors who I do work for on a regular basis will be surprised by the way your treating me...". We again asked what we had been - what job was done, confirm our receipt & $60 were placed in the mail. Received, what we feel, a curt response. We noted that if he couldn't confirm or follow-through, we would update the BBB as they'd requested. He stated he was unclear what we were asking. We again noted the prior. Pics were then sent by us showing him the job he'd done & the areas on the wall that would need repair (Never divulged to us). We again inquired about the job for clarification & that the rubber coupling was supposed to be the 'cheaper' option (& cash = discount). No response. 6.18: Jeff was at our neighbors home, we requested a receipt & our return of funds ($60). Jeff met with us, told us his short life story & what he did (we think based off the pictures we previously sent). I tried to explain what our thought process was for our frustration. Jeff walked away, didn't want to hear our thoughts, he "didn't care," & he'd write up our receipt & give us $50. Confused - we agreed on $60... Receipt left = interesting, in our opinion. More detailed & new total overall charge = $312.90. Why were we charged $400 on the day of completion? Paying cash = discounted rate - quoted $400 (the day of, for a job I'd come to realize wasn't done), discounted to $350 (same day, paying cash, he had no change, charge increased to $360), new receipt now shows overall charge of $312.90 - if we were originally given a discount of $50 (paying cash - we thought it'd be the same = a total discounted charge = $262.90), were reimbursed $50 = bringing our total that we physically paid to $310 - with an end "cash discount" of $2.90. At one point, lying was discussed, I have done my best not to. If you would like any proof of any of this, I have receipts, voicemails, and text messages to prove it.
