We learned quickly we had a big yellow jacket bee problem over the holiday weekend. We got return phone calls within 3-4 hours even on the long weekend. They were accommodating on scheduling and very service oriented. Reviews on face book have been fabulous! I like the fact that they manage service on a quarterly basis and now looking to cancel out of our monthly service with another company. Their pricing is reasonable for their quarterly service since they are willing to come out more than once as needed. Their initial visit cost was a bit high in my opinion and wish it would be applied to our quarterly service if we sign up with them. Just had the hired gun from Quick Kill come and hopefully eradicate our Carpenter's Ant issue yesterday. Called the big guys and they all wanted to lock us in to the initial treatment plus the year of maintenance. Quick Kill offered the option but we went with the one time treatment. Cost more for one treatment but the job seemed very thorough. Plus they have all 5 star Yelp reviews and great Angie's list as well. The national brands had very poor reviews. Mark the owner himself came out and handled it 14 hours after the call was placed at 6pm Friday. Don't try to engage Mark in conversation as he is all business. He is not there to chit chat the insect world but he is focused and works hard. No smell and minimal mess from the tiny holes drilled into the walls to spray the killer dust. So far, we saw one ant that showed up an hour after treatment. We didn't kill him hoping that he would bring the killer dust back to the nest. It's been 24 hours without a sighting. Hoping for the best and feeling confident as we were seeing them day and night before the dust settled. read more

I used online form for service request, they called me about 10 minutes later and even though I did not have any emergency I had technician come in 15 minutes later and take care of the wasp nest. Pretty cool! Tim was great and explained everything and I did not see any more wasps actually several hours later. They charge 195 for a visit which is not cheap but I'd rather feel safe. Great service. I emailed them on a Sunday morning fully expecting to not hear from someone until today. I received a call Sunday at around 1:00 pm, and Mike was out this morning to (hopefully) do what he needed to do to eradicate my newly-purchased home's carpenter ants (nice bonus, yes?). He spent a good deal of time in the house, crawl space and attic and walked the perimeter of the house spraying the numerous trees (all of which have the little beasts, apparently). This is not the cheapest company in the area, but with their Yelp or website coupons, it falls into the range of pretty much affordable. I had exterminator service with a national company in my old home for years, but their prices have risen considerably as well, so it was a no-brainer to go with a locally owned firm with 5-star Yelp reviews. I will most likely sign up for their annual maintenance plans...I'd rather they spray and all that good stuff than me. read more

WOW. I can't believe what just happened. We have had a problem each year with Pharaoh ants. Yesterday, I called the pest control company we had used in the past and they were not able to come out for over a week. My wife was not happy that I made the appointment that far out. I called Quick Kill Exterminating today (start of the Memorial Day weekend) because of the GREAT reviews they received on Yelp. Within less than 15 minutes Mark, the owner, was at our house. I called on Thursday about my ant problem in the kitchen and they offered to come out same day. Mark showed up at the house and was extremely professional. He asked a lot of good questions about the ant issue to ensure he was using the proper treatment to resolve our problem. This company definitely does not have a "one size fit all" approach and applies vastly different treatments depending on the problem. Overall, he spent a significant amount of time at our house applying treatment and I felt that they offered a good price for the amount of time they spent our house. They also offered a coupon and a discount should we need a follow up visit in 5 or 6 months. We had bees/wasps/hornets, we weren't sure which, but they were in three different places and a big outdoor party was only a week away. We hadn't used exterminators in the 8 years we'd lived here and weren't sure who to call. We weren't inclined to use the big chains. After seeing the reviews here, we called Quick Kill. Tim came the next day as we had requested, exactly when he said he would. He explained exactly what we were dealing with (yellow jackets, wasps, and carpenter bees) and then donned the appropriate protective gear and vanquished them all. He even showed me the nest afterwards, after taking it down, and told me how quickly they would have multiplied if not dealt with now. Tim has been doing this since he was a teenager (it's a family business) and he clearly takes pride in what he does. I felt very comfortable having Tim in my home and very relieved that it was taken care of. The price was totally fair. If we have any kind of problem again, I now know who to call. read more
