First time using Quick-Pro because our HOA uses them for our community pool and bathrooms. I made an appointment online at 7am and the website said someone would be out between 9 and 11am that same day. I was skeptical. Clint Sweat was my guy, showed up shortly after 9am, and he was amazing! I had a slow drain issue, and Clint showed me on the scope the roots that had invaded my line because developer just laid my 4" sewer pipe in the county's 6" tap without sealing it! He opened it up enough to use until we could properly repair it. Clint even called the county out to see if roots were in their line and they could do it for free. No such luck, but appreciated him for going to the trouble. County found a second cleanout that had been buried under a foot and a half of dirt and mulch next to a 15 year old maple tree planted by previous owners. Never plant trees over your sewer lines!!! After I had the tree cut down and stump ground, Clint came back out and dug out the line (which took hours due to roots) and replaced the connection with a properly glued 4" to 6" reducer connection, a new clean out (tree damaged the original one), and a landscape box to hide it so no white "mushroom" sticking up in the yard. Clint was so friendly, helpful, kept me informed of what was going on, and even helped me understand how my sewer was set up. He didn't hesitate to bring me over to see what was going on at different stages. He filled the hole, smoothed out the dirt, and I have complete confidence in the repair. And the cost was very reasonable for what he had to go through over two different days to get it fixed properly. I've found my new plumber! Thank you Clint!! read more

I called 3 Cherokee County based plumbers in the Woodstock area to get quotes on connecting the gas line for a dryer and range and installing a disposal. The plumber I used in Cobb Cty, Seagraves, does not work in Cherokee so I had to find a new one. this is the first and last time I will use this company. They like the others - and I keep good notes for every contractor I use - quoted $200 per gas connection plus new hoses. None of them will use old hoses and I understand why -'cause we are talking gas here. My new range came with a hose which was included in the cost from Home Depot but was returnable for credit and I purchased one for the dryer. They are standard flex hoses. When the tech came out to inspect I let him know I had the hoses and as a matter of fact, the one for the dryer was on the shelf directly in front of him. The range had not yet been delivered. He knew the hoses were coming and that I would not need the hoses from his company but that they quote including the price of the hoses. When he connected the appliances, he used the flex hoses that I had and did not supply nor leave any of Quick Pro Plumbers hoses with me. He should have used their hoses so that I could return to Home Depot the hoses that were purchased there. When I asked for the cost of the hoses to be removed, I was told I agreed to that price - which I did but the tech said that the cost of them would be removed. The gal in the office is very defensive and said I agreed and that they will not refund anything. I said the tech knew the hoses were there, did not bring into my house any of their hoses and that either refund the cost of the hoses or give me the hoses. After indicating in one email that I did supply 2 hoses, the company said they would send me one. When I signed when the tech was here, he said it was only that I was signing that that work was done when in fact I was signing for a bill that included the cost of the hoses that are just under $40. BE WARY! The tech did tell me when he first came that I needed a plug-in disposal and not a hard wired one. So I took the one back to HD and got the one he recommended which is a good brand. However, the caulking used around the sink portion of the disposal is awful as he left a lot of caulk there. I know the disposals weight will cause some caulk to ooze up but what I have is excessive compared to other disposals I have had installed in the past. Not a clean job for sure. read more

Had a sewer line backup and Toilet was leaking due to a sewer stoppage. The plumber arrived, removed toilet, cleaned the line and videoed the line for the cause! Was present for less than 3 hours and charged $800+ and recommended total sewer line replacement at an estimated $7,000+! Got a second opinion to run a camera to verify cost of repair for $275. Our home is older and was built with cast iron sewer pipes which failed under the foundation after almost 50 years of service. Quick-Pro Plumbing was recommended to us by a friend who is a real-estate agent and see's this kind of issue often. I called Clay, the owner of the Quck-Pro Plumbing, and we discussed the issue and solution options. We agreed on full replacement and we scheduled the project. Clay offered lower cost solutions but honestly, I was was more interested in his permanent fix proposals. I prefer to fix it right the first time and not waist money on temporary band-aids. This was a major project. To start, the granite counters had to be removed along with all the main cabinets in the kitchen and connecting laundry room. Then the concrete had to be cut through the kitchen, bathroom and laundry rooms. New pipes were installed and the outlet was re-routed to the back yard and across the back to where the new system was connected to the original pipe leading the the main city sewer line. The project also included the replacement of the original line that went to the city sewer. All the cast iron pipe was replaced regardless of its condition to avoid future issues. Clay and his team coordinated with the cabinet and flooring contractor to complete the project quickly and completely. Everything was flawless. The cabinets were removed, the concrete was cut, the new pipes were installed, the connection to the main sewer was completed, the inspector signed off the permit, new concrete was poured, cabinets were replaced, the granite was returned to it's original position and new flooring was installed in just over two weeks. Not mentioned previously, I also requested Quick - Pro Plumbing replace the original copper water pipes, that were also underground, to avoid future issues. This was done at the same time as the sewer pipes. Other items worth mentioning would include timeliness, how easy is the team was to work with and the quality of the work. Johnathan, the supervisor on our project, was fantastic. He was great to work with, communicated the daily plan, did what he said we was going to do and the quality of the work was excellent. The building inspector looked over all the new pipes and trenches and signed without questions. Today you can not tell any of the destruction described ever happened and so far not a single issue. Clearly this was not a simple sink repair or hot water heater replacement. We were facing a difficult situation and I would rate my experience with Clay and his team at Quick-Pro Plumbing as nothing less than excellent. I had Quick Pro Plumbing come out because our master bathroom tub faucets were leaking and needed new H/C stems and diverter stem. The guy told me our plumbing was too old and not to code and unless we do a complete remodel, he would not be responsible to fix our leak. He did fix our high water pressure issue, but left our bathroom leak, which was dripping down our walls into our garage. He told me to go to some plumbing store that carries old parts and I can replace it myself. Well, I ended up calling a different plumber who replaced the parts needed and said this guy probably didn't have the parts in his truck and didn't want to bother getting them. The 2nd guy I called had the parts needed and the leak was fixed in less than 2 hours. read more

Clay is a ROCKSTAR!! I had the not-so-pleasant experience of waking up to two clogged toilets and sewage back-up into my master shower. I was so overwhelmed. I looked up Quick Pro and they immediately set a same day appointment to come in and get me squared away. The first plumber that came out, Robert, was great. He augered both toilets and got my first issue squared away. About 2 hours later, however, I discovered that I had another plumbing emergency when I noticed water dripping from the ceiling in my kitchen. I called Quick Pro back to have Robert come back out but he was not able to. Clay jumped in a truck at 5:30 pm and came out. After trouble shooting, he was able to determine that the fresh water hose from the tank on my guest bathroom toilet was leaking and that's where the water was coming from. Clay got the proper parts needed and repaired this FREE OF CHARGE. He had the ACUMEN, PERSONALITY, and most importantly, the INTEGRITY that you want to encounter in situations like this. We found Clay's company on Thumbtack looking to get a second estimate to replace old cast iron pipes that were showing their age. Clay walked us through what he saw during the estimate and clearly explained to us what was needed. He gave us a fair estimate that came in a little under our other one. The work was completed very well, again with a thorough walk-through of what was completed. All materials and the work space was cleaned up well afterwards. The only minor criticism I will mention is that the work took a little longer than estimated. Not a problem, as we has some flexibility in being home while the work was done and we were not left overnight without access to water. For a one-man shop, the job was very well done. read more

Clay and Josh showed up on time and took care of everything on the list, plus a few other things they suggested to be done. I wrote a check and Clay said that he would email me the receipt. There was a mis-spelling in the email and I never received it. I called Clay so that he could correct it and re-send the receipt. Once again, I did not receive it. I called again and left a voicemail and instructed them to either send the receipt to my husband's email or mail a hard copy to the house. It has been over ten days and I still have no receipt, no return phone call, nothing. The cost of the repairs was $604 and it would be nice to have a receipt stating what was done. While the quality of their work is good, their customer service leaves much to be desired. ADDENDUM: We finally received a receipt in the mail yesterday.
