I was driving around down here in the Sacramento area on the 5 freeway, and I thought I should get my car washed as I was away for a couple of weeks and left my car outside at a friends house while I was away for work. I saw on my GPS there was a Quick Quack car wash just off the 5 at Pocket Road exit no. 512. Get off from the northbound freeway and just turn right and it's right there. I've used Quick Quack before to wash the big rental Suburban we use for work cause we do get it pretty dirty sometimes with dirt road sections and I don't wanna get an excessive dirty charge when I return it to the rental company, so just a quick exterior wash to get most the stuff off is fine. I pull in and get the basic exterior wash, that's all I need. It's around $13 and it washes and blow dries the exterior. I can do any touch up drying. Actually what works well to dry, not that I suggest this to most people, is after you run your vehicle through the wash, just get on the freeway right away, and drive like 80 mph! just for a couple of miles, that'll really blow off all the water! You do need to have a good wax job if you try this. A warmish day helps too. The quick wash was fine and I drove on the freeway kinda fast, lucky there was a break in traffic. I love this location. They seem up to date with their equipment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Check in is easy especially if you are a member as they scan your car and you can get in to get your car washed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The employees who work here are friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I often see them making sure the towels are clean and emptying the trash when you are in the vacuum station. I find being a member at Quick Quack is nice especially since you can go to any location and get your car washed. It is a great value. He's the gentleman who sprays your car and helps guide you onto the tracks before the wash.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I go to Quick Quack at least six times a week, and there are usually different people working that position. Paul is the only one who consistently makes sure I'm actually lined up correctly on the tracks. Everyone else usually just signals me to move forward without really paying attention. I actually just left there and had to go back to get his name from his name tag because I wanted to make sure he got the recognition he deserves. Thank you, Paul! This is one of the better quick quack locations. There wasn't staff at the stand when I checked in so I wasn't able to get dash wipes. The person that hoses down the car before entering the wash just sprayed the windshield and maybe the left side of my car. The scrubbers and dryers seem slightly better compared to other locations I've been to, but my car still leaves fairly wet and with missed spots on the windshield. Quick quack is quick and convenient because there's so many locations around. However, after experiencing a different car wash drive thru where the employees thoroughly hose your car all over before entering the wash and not only does the machine have a dryer, the employees also towel dry your car afterwards. I don't think I can ever go back to a quick quack membership. read more

I generally have no complaints about my time being here ever[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], however on may 5th I purchased a quick quack branded air freshener and placed it on my shifter nob. By Thursday night (I left my car for 2 days) I noticed this chemical reaction that occurred on my console. The air freshener was also stuck like glue to it . My car is a 2025 and the inly area affected is the area i had to remove the air freshener from. I personally am gonna change it out myself and pay for it , but I just wanted some type of documentation so if it continues to happen to others they would know theres a real issue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But I got told that it wasn't worth it or not there problem of what happend because it's an air freshener and theres no way chemicals can leak from it and cause damage[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . So just a heads up to anyone out there , dont purchase these air fresheners or better yet maybe go somewhere that will at least act like they care . read more

My husband bought the Quick Quack monthly pass, so now whenever we pass a Quick Quack and the car is a bit dirty we head in for a light show. This location was easy to pull into and on a Saturday was pretty busy. We got into line quickly and were in neutral ready for a wash. Just after the start everything went dark for a few moments and I was afraid they lost power. Not sure what happened, but less than a minute after it went dark everything was running smoothly again like nothing happened. We were on our way to meet someone so we didn't stop to vacuum, but there were plenty of spots available. We left with a clean car. read more

This does not happen at any other location as they have updated and clean equipment. This Car Wash at this specific location could definitely use some employee level maintenance. read more

Customer service strikes again! Jordan cost Quick Quack my business today and for the foreseeable future with his incessant "sales pitch." When I arrived this morning, I waited a few moments for Jordan to welcome me. Good start. I asked for the one-time "lucky duck" wash, and he asked, "What's keeping you from signing up for membership?" I said, no thanks, not interested--I just want the lucky duck. He insists, "Well, why not?" Again, tell him that I'm not interested; I just want the one-time lucky duck. Again, "But why not?" and he starts to go into some sales pitch about the membership. I explained I was not interested in hearing his spiel about it and just wanted the one-time lucky duck car wash. His answer was that he HAS TO tell me all about the membership and find out why I won't sign up because It's his job to do that and he's on camera. I warned him that I didn't have time to hear about the membership, didn't care to discuss why I wouldn't join, and would just leave if I couldn't get a one-time lucky duck. His response was, "That's fine; you will have to turn around and go out the in." So, despite Quick Quack being close to home, today I'm going out of my way to hit the Pavillion Car Wash on Fair Oaks Blvd and, going forward, will do that or hit the Shell Gas car wash where I don't have to suffer through some BS pressure sales pitch. read more

I cancelled my membership and Quick Quack offered me a 'free' month. When I said yes, they decided that meant I didn't want to cancel my membership and billed me agaiin. I would give it zero stars if I could. Despite what Quick Quack says. They did not make it clear in any way that accepting the free month would continue my membership. The customer service at this location is the worst I've ever experienced. I came last night at 8:30 and there was no one near the check-in - okay, fine, I have a membership. The parking lot is filthy smh and as I drive around I notice the two employees are having a conversation with a man who isn't a customer because he's on a bike. One of the employees (both male) is sitting on the wall near the showroom and the other is standing near him. I am sitting, unacknowledged as I'm interrupting their conversation. When the taller one finally come to "spray" my car, he does a half assed job of it and only sprays my grill - let's not talk about how he guided me in the the carwash. As he is walking away like he really did his job, I ask him, "can you spray my window?" He says "what!?" Looking at me like I'm dumb (by this time I'm pissed!), I say "you know what what nevermind I'm driving through again." he started the car wash while I was asking him a question ON PURPOSE. As I am coming out of the car wash, the guy that was sitting on the wall is hurrying to the front of the car, want to guess what he is doing? He placed cones in the entryway so I can't come back through the carwash! When all I had to do was run those cones down (I want to curse!)! It's 8:44 by this time and quick quack closes at 9 p.m. Did Quick Quack lose me as a customer? They also don't mind holding up the rest of the line when they have a sucker willing to pay extra.
