The level of craftsmanship required was extraordinary, and Steel's absolutely delivered. This cost my small business $8,000 in parts and repairs plus several customer refunds. They took zero responsibility for the problems I experienced. When I questioned one of the owners about their continued misdiagnosis, I was treated very rudely and he fired me as a customer. He even threatened legal action if I didn't pay the full amount by the end of the week. All this after having worked with them for 3 years. Extremely high labor rates and over-inflated part pricing markups (I checked), and lots of nitpick charges. They even charge a $75 shipping fee for parts they have in inventory in their own warehouse, which is in the same small building as the shop and office. When I asked about that charge I was told "Well, we had to pay to have the part shipped here when we bought it." What? The people who work in the office and one of the field techs were nice and often helpful, but that is the only good thing I can think of to say. The owners of DNI Heating do not give a crap about their customer. You will be nothing more than a transaction to them.

I've had WestPro come quote the same job twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025. It was two very…read moredifferent experiences to the point of being hard to believe it's the same company. The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.

Update (9/13/2019): After seeing my original 1-star review,…read morePaint Pals sent out another painter who specializes in warranty issues, and he spent about three days finding and fixing areas where the lack of prep-work in the original job could cause problems down the road. I'm happy with the work he did, so am updating my rating to 2 stars. I still can't honestly recommend the company considering my original experience, but at least they did right by me in fixing things up. Seems like they DO care about their customers, so hopefully will be able to figure out how to avoid these kinds of problems in the future.
