They sent me on a wild goose chase...I brought my used car in for Smog check. They told me I had an illegal after market catalytic converter installed on the car and they could not certify it or they would lose their license. He said I needed to get a new catalytic converter installed and to come back and he would resmog it at no extra charge! He has records of my car passing smog 2 years earlier - this was when I bought it, and I did nothing to the exhaust system in that time. So I found out where it had passed smog previously and took it there - Express Smog, and explained my predicament. They inspected the car, and in about 1 minute found the number on the unit - went to the computer and looked up the part number for the catalytic converter - found that it was legal and told me to take it back to Quick Smog - so I wouldn't have to pay twice for it. Back at quick smog they resmogged it and passed it. Short story they don't want to look for the part number - they would rather you get a new catalytic converter. Never again will I return. read more

I've been back here 5 or 6 times since my original review. Efficient place. Never need an appointment and am always out in 30-45 minutes. They have expanded the work area with multiple bays. Check for their coupon online. Wish there was a coffee shop nearby, but can't have everything. read more

Fastest and easiest smog check I've done. These guys are pros at getting you in, out, and on with your day. I recommend the online coupon.

I have taken my two vehicles here in the last 12 months. Lucky me, I have to have smog check done every year because of having more than one car. It used to be a painful experience , similar to going to the dentist. Then I found this place, I am amazed how quickly they get the job done. Very efficient and painless. Great place to get your car smogged! I was so depressed last week when i failed the smog test at another test only center on main st. in napa.feeling helpless i started to call around and noticed quick smog and test only on the net. they had a special going on so i said what the heck if my car failed again i"ll just junk it!pulled into the driveway and entered the building.i was greeted with a friendly hello how can i help u?i explained to mike that i had failed at another test only and did"nt know what to expect.i showed him my paperwork from the other shop and he carfully analyzed it.after few minutes he noticed incorrect info that the other shop entered into the machine!i asked what doe's this mean.mike then explained that if the info was input incorrectly it would affect the over all test results .every vehicle has a known algorithm and the dyno will load the engine according to the info that was inputted into the smog machine.again i asked so what doe"s that mean?turns out the other shop on main st near down down input the incorrect engine size so the smog machine was over loading my engine reulting in way higher emissions from my exhaust!mike said why dont we smog it with the correct info and see what happens?with nothing to lose is signed the invoice and 15 min. later he was done!i could"nt believe it when he told me it passed with NO problems at all!I was so thrilled that it passed and angry that the other shop on main st. for performing an inacurate smog test!this is the best place in town by far and they are the cheapest!they are a little hard to find cause thay are in the back off of soscol ave,but once u find them you will be very happy!these guy's are the best in my book! fast friendly and knowledgeable!!!! read more
