I had to get my car smogged in the same day (my DMV registration was due the next day) and I had never done a smog check in Napa. So I Yelp'd "smog" in Napa, and this place popped up. I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm sure glad I did. I called around 4:30pm that day and the guy said there'd be no problem in getting it done that day. I dropped my car off around 5pm and was out of there by 6pm, complete with the electronic certificate sent to the DMV. They gave me the option to pay for my registration right there and then, or to wait until the next day to do it on my own, as it would take the DMV until after midnight to receive my smog certificate. Sure enough, I went online the next day and was able to pay for my registration, without any problems. Quick and cheap! Place looks sketchy at first, but had no problems at all. Yes, there was a wait and it can take longer if there are people ahead of you, but went down the block and had some breakfast. Came back and it was all done. This place is great! Called ahead after getting off of work to see if there was a long wait for a smog check. Turns out it was empty, so on my way I went. Pulled up, went in, did minimal paperwork and got the show on the road. It's been a hot day, it was pleasant to sit in the air conditioned waiting area watching the travel channel. A client hired me to get a sale/transfer sorted out with the DMV but they had no luck getting the car smogged and were beyond frustrated. I took it to Quick Smog and it failed again but they told me to drive the car between 45 and 55mph (ideally w/cruise control) for at least 40 solid minutes. Easier said than done around here! I had to wait till 8pm to try that on Hwy 80 all the way to Dixon and back again. Returned to QS first thing the next morning for the free retest - and it passed! I had little hope that it would "reset" but these guys know their stuff. read more

This is where I smog my daily driver every 2 years. They are very fast, and efficient! I bought an older car to drive while I do some repairs on my daily driver. They were kind enough to do a pre-inspection free of charge. There were a few issues that they pointed out, and told me how to correct. I really appreciate that.
