Wow. 20 minutes and 40 bucks later and done. I'm new in town so I'm looking often for a new "everything." This was around 5pm on a weekday, just FYI. It would have been just 15 minutes but I fumbled around the glove box a bit cause I couldn't find my renewal letter in the car. No need, they just used my registration slip after all. Soon I was ready to renew my registration just like that. I barely got to flip through a magazine at all. Very friendly staff too. The waiting room was NOT grungy like a lot of shops. Took my car in & for some reason my $5 coupon didn't show. At time when i found it i was not going in so i marked that i would use later. When i went in would let me bring up. But employees spoke w/mgr. & got ok to give me $5 off anyway. They took care of everthing, did it fast. And got new tags in mail quick as a wink. Super great place to have your vehicle checked our and/or fixed. Highly knowledgeable in car mechanics people will work on your car. Up to recently I lived in Turlock, but moved back to Los Angeles. While I lived here, I brought my cars in and never had issues with their service. I was so content that even now living over 300 miles away, I brought my car so they can fix it. That there my local Turlock Yelpers sums it up. So, if your vehicle needs to be checked out, take it to Saun or Marcel; honest individuals. Happy with the service Ownership/Mgmt- Courteous and fair. They advertised smog cert cheaper on the front of the building then what I was quoted. I was informed that the price was recently increased and the new signs have not been changed out yet. The manager still honored advertised price and offered an additional 5 off for the confusion. read more

They are incredibly helpful and friendly, as well as the best price that I could find ($31.75 for the smog check and $8.25 for the certificate.) I had two cars that needed smog checks done. They were fast and very helpful with the first. The second had an issue registering our "Evap System" on their computers. Johnny, the older man who was helping us pointed out the issue and told me what I needed to do to fix it. He even checked the car a couple of other times over the next day or so as we tried to solve the problem, without any charge. I was in a pinch to get my car smoged so I called many places. Most of the prices were $58, $68, etc. I called Turlock Quick Smog & Repair and it was $40 out of the door! Cars 2000 and over are $40 and card below the year 2000 are $50. To my knowledge that is the cheapest place in surrounding area. The mechanics and employees were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I was out super fast and left happy. They made me feel comfortable with their work and I recommend to anyone and everyone. I will continue to come here for all my repair needs. read more

I've been to Turlock quick smog but the smog tech who has a legit smog license didn't smog my car I guess he was so busy he couldn't so the owners smog my car Fred and his Co owner don't know his name his Persian nether one has there smog license but they smoggy my car and we're smogging other car while I watched. Very unperfetional I won't be going back there I'll be going to drive to Modesto for my smog and repairs.. read more

Got my car smogged and got some minor repairs in a decent time. The staff is very friendly and honest. I went to someone else and was told I needed new brakes.
