I don't visit quickly often these days. I'm not a huge boba enthusiast, but every time I do come here I'm reminded of my childhood. I remember regularly coming here as a teenager to get snacks with friends after school or even just use my laptop. Quickly has made some major upgrades over the years (in their menu and their furniture!). There's loads of snacks here now and expanded menu choices. The drinks are also solid. Growing up, my favorites were the almond and taro milk tea. I'm no longer a teen, so I always get my drinks with half (or no) sugar! The Thai tea is great with reduced sugar and pudding. Yum! Also the fries have ALWAYS been amazing. I love getting mine spicy . The business is family owned and the workers get your drinks out fast. Coming here and hearing the customers speak Chinese/Cantonese/ Guangdong dialects reminds me so much of my youth! Quickly has been a community staple for years. Great selection for refreshments and add ons but doesn't taste real! Ordered taro milk tea with boba during this visit. It's hard to say that I'm satisfied with my drink. It tasted like it was made from powdered concentrate. The drink screams artificial and watered down at the same time. The boba was so gummy too. Their spot is perfect hangout spot for young adults. They have snack foods available. There's a limited amount of parking in front of the store; street parking or paid parking lot is another option. The person in the front tried to charge me more than what I had thought I would originally pay for. This and lollicup are the ones I know are the OG boba shops that are still open today. Made an impromptu stop here after grabbing some dim sum, and it was a good end to lunch! The menu has a wide spectrum of choices from snacks to smoothies. I ordered the Thai tea with grass jelly, and my girlfriend ordered the watermelon slush with egg pudding. The Thai tea was a bit too sweet, but the grass jelly proved to be an effective neutralizer. The watermelon slush was very refreshing. Conveniently, they take card payment if you make a minimum purchase of $10; otherwise, it's a $0.50 fee. As the duchess with over 131 check-ins I can safely say the boba milk tea is consistently good. I've never had a bad drink from here and that's saying a lot. This is McDonald's level consistency. They've changed owners, made upgrades to the interior and changed staff a few times over but that didn't change the consistency. I am genuinely impressed and they continue to get a solid 5 stars. My friend really recommended this place because it's cheap and in NorCal but I was really unimpressed. It may have been my choice of drink--I got the tapioca milk tea with red bean ($3.05). Found this place by pure chance...literally! So I'm strolling down Broadway yesterday when this Chinese lady in a wheelchair kindly asked if I could push her across the crosswalk. I was like, "Of course" and got her safely across. She explained that the battery on her electric wheelchair had given out while she was on her way to a place down the street. (she said she had Polio) so I offered to push her to the location...and we arrive at QUICKLY. But then the wheelchair gets stuck right in the doorway. Won't budge, even with all my strength. Thank God no customers rolled up at that time. (The cashier dude was like, "Uh, what's happening here?") LOL Anyway, eventually I switched the wheels to neutral and with great effort, got her through the doorway and up the counter! Wow. She offered to buy me a drink and I declined at first but she insisted and curiosity got the better of me. I ordered their Wintermelon ice tea, which was really good. I was happy to learn that this is a Taiwan food/boba shop. (The lady told me she was from Taiwan) Looking around, it has a family-run feel to it. Floors were clean and the tables were spotless. (I think it was the dad who pulled up out front and started bringing in a re-supply delivery.) Lots of clean tables to sit at. Quiet and chill place to relax and have a conversation. The food here is meh! We just stopped here for a small break. The restaurant is filled with kids who are on their phones playing games or getting into mischief. There were three girls in the restroom doing god knows what! The bathroom is all tagged up with pretty explicit words. I'm surprised this restaurant allows these kind of things to go on during business hours. So we ordered the fried tofu and the curry fish balls. When we got the fish balls, they looked nothing like the picture. It looked like small meat balls smothered in this lumpy curry. The fried tofu tasted better than the fish balls. I can look past the food but I'm giving a three start because how unappealing the restaurant is to allows kids use the tables as gaming events instead of having actual customers sit and eat. Me and boyfriend tried two, both of them taste very good and also looks very pretty. Love the drinks so much. The employees here are very nice. I am a very picky person honestly, but they are very nice and patient. Helped me find the drink i really like. We were lured in by their ad for $1.28 snacks and ended up ordering and spending quite a bit more, and even then, the total bill was super cheap. I got a mango slush with apple jelly. It was a little too sweet for my tastes, especially at the beginning, but improved significantly when mixed all together. The prices are totally reasonable and were about 30% less than any other place I've ever been. They get you on the upsells, but the total is still pretty reasonable. Ever since moving to Chinatown from DTLA I actually find myself coming here more than I thought. Quickly is one of the best boba places in Chinatown in terms of overall quality, taste, price, and service. Ten Ren's has better quality, but they close easier and it's more expensive. Sweet Town has better service (at times), but their drinks aren't that great, etc. You get a drink with an add-on for under $3. What a deal?? The drinks aren't premade, which is great. They allow you to customize your drink, so I can get my almond milk tea with grass jelly and less sugar. It tastes amazing each time. Their food items are also reasonably priced. They make things more interesting by having certain specials at times, as well as adding new drinks that aren't listed on the main menu, such as the rainbow pudding milk drink, which is a sweet milk drink with a bunch of puddings - all different colors (strawberry, taro, egg, etc). It was so odd, but it was so interesting at the same time. Their milk tea and almond milk tea are rather standard. Their coffee milk tea is okay - a little watered down, but for that price, I shouldn't be expecting a rich bold coffee flavor. Awesome fruit jellies, grass jelly, and pudding. Mediocre boba pearls, but I prefer lychee jelly, pudding, or grass jelly in my drinks instead. They do accept credit card, but the minimum is $10. Take advantage of their stamp card: free drink after 10 purchased. Their drinks are cheap enough as is, so it's great that they add in a stamp card as well. 79 cents for tapioca milk tea? We did a double take at the banner. We are boba-holics. Well, Nacho especially. The banner on Broadway in Chinatown lured us across the parking lot towards Hill Street into the plaza where Ocean Seafood, JR Bistro, and Ten Ren are nestled together. The cafe is bright, clean, and spacious, and conducive to group hang-outs or laptop-use/studying. The white chairs ain't so white already for a place that has a Grand Opening banner, but it's OK, you're not slurping your tea off them. The Wi-Fi is free. Check the password next to the cashier. The plaza parking is $1.75 for 2 hours if you can't find street parking. The regular prices are pretty decent. $2.19 across the board, but add 50 cents for chewables (jelly, beans, boba) in your drink or to make it a Large. Take a look at my photos for the menu. Best deal on the menu is the tapioca milk tea (first on the menu) - $2.19 regular price without adding 50 cents for boba. Nacho approves of the milk tea here and trust me - he's pretty particular about his milk tea. Come here quickly (pun!) and get the 79 cent tapioca milk tea (or slush or iced coffee for the same price). It's in the small size but for me it was the perfect serving. read more

This Quickly is quite possibly the strangest Quickly I've been to. Their menu is significantly different than all the other ones and their drinks did not taste the same as all the other quickly I've been to. First of all, their menu was ALOT smaller/ shorter than the ones in the Bay area - they also didn't have some of the add-ins other Quickly have. Secondly - their drinks were SUPER SWEET as in "I'm probably going to get diabetes after drinking this" sweet. The Quickly I usually go to do not make their drinks this sweet. We ordered a strawberry milk tea and it had CHUNKS of syrupy strawberries in it. It was barely even mixed in (let alone blended in) and the chunks of strawberry were so big I couldn't even suck it up with my straw. Finally, the tapioca balls were mushy ass hell. It was so mushy my mouth couldn't tell the difference between the mushy syrup drenched strawberry and the tapioca. Thank god I live in the land of abundant Quickly locations - where I can get my milk tea/boba fix without getting a sugar high. BTW.. after drinking the strawberry milk tea en route back to San Francisco ( I had no choice since I was thirsty) I had to pull over TWICE to throw it back up. read more
