Located across the street from 7th street. This location has a cute appeal on the outside and interesting flavorful options. However, don't be mislead. This place has poor quality, poor service, the parking is the worst! In addition, to the homeless on the outside and paying for parking and poor service. The drinks were so bland and looked and tasted like fillers. If you're looking for a new boba spot or find this one, move on, this isn't it and I don't want you to be mislead. 2/10 Find another

This establishment is inside the bloc, a small mall on 7th & flower. It is very inviting & cute. They have table games available and the aroma is wonderful!!As the place is very nice, the teas are just ok. The teas can go up well over $15 depending on what you are adding as everything is separate. The service is really null as you order on one of 2 iPads available up front so there's no need to interact with staff. The teas are then set on a counter and your name is called. They also have Japanese soufflé pancakes. Maybe we will try those next time.

New at the Bloc. I've walked by a few times and it's finally open! We've been to the Pasadena location before and happy this one is on my commute. We tried the original soufflé. It actually was quick; these sometimes can take a while if orders start to back up. Same great fluffy pancakes freshly made to order. There are some seats indoors and you can also enjoy your treats in the main Bloc courtyard. I ordered ahead and luckily no surcharges ordering online pickup or in person.

This was our first time at Miss Cheese Tea Cafe and we had a great time. It is the perfect hangout spot with a bright interior, free games and plenty of seating. You can order on the iPad and there are so many drink and dessert options. We loved their transparency about ingredients used and sugar levels. We had the taro loves coconut, mango tornado and matcha soufflé pancake! The pancake had perfect texture, was not-too-sweet and paired well with the Matcha cream. We will definitely be back to try out different drinks, the taiyaki and for the jiggly pancakes!

Walking by in the area and instead of getting my passion fruit at Starbucks, I've tried this passion fruit drinks here. Just simply quiet place clean and you gotta do the self serve per the person who works there. I'm kind of not fun of the place nor the drinks maybe other place is better. It's newly opened so let's support them give it a try. We all have different preferences anyway. Good luck to the owner.

    A piece of rubber/ plastic

For a slight moment when the barista was making our drinks there was a loud noise (I'm assuming from the blender.) Once my husband received his drink, he took a sip and he found a piece of rubber inside his drink (which he almost swallowed)

These fluffy pancakes were actually worth it! Super soft, airy, and melt in your mouth. A little pricey, but definitely worth trying at least once. The cream and syrup made them sooo good without being too sweet. Cute spot too! Also has a restroom, only available to costumers (:

I highly recommend timing your visit around sunset to fully enjoy the charming string lights and romantic ambiance they create. Unfortunately, a bug bit me while I was sitting at our picnic table, so next time I'll probably opt for indoor seating. I was craving a high-quality pizza, and this place absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the mushroom pizza, and it did not disappoint. I also tried the house radicchio salad, but it wasn't my favorite. The mix of herbs and greens came across as overly bitter, and I couldn't finish it. One thing to note: I requested tap water when placing our order but later noticed I had been charged for their bottled still water. After bringing it to their attention, they promptly removed the charge. Be sure to double-check your receipt. I'm happy with how quickly they fixed the mistake tho! Unfortunately, they don't offer mocktails, so I ordered an Arnold Palmer instead. It was a bit bland and lacked balance. My friend tried one of the aguas frescas and wasn't particularly impressed either. Would love to see a curated mocktail list on their menu soon! Despite those minor issues, I'd definitely return. I'm looking forward to coming back to try brunch and cappuccinos at their new Manhattan Beach location!

Was hesitant to come by on Sunday morning around 10a after a Hollywood Reservoir run because our group of 8 didn't want to wait. Showed up anyways and so glad we did. Only waited about 10 mins before we were offered two booths that seat 4. I ordered a drip coffee ($4.25) and lox bagel ($17). The drip coffee was decent, not my favorite but got the job done and they were good about refills. The lox bagel was light, easy on the cream cheese, and had the toppings that make a lox just right. Our server was extremely attentive even through the busyness. My only qualm was the 20% large party charge on our bill despite us splitting our group, sitting on different tables, and getting two separate checks. There's also a 4% additional tax "Kitchen Appreciation" which caught us off guard. Gotta love LA. Loved the diner minus the uncalled for additional charges.
