Crowded parking which is the worst thing about this place. My bf had to stay outside to make sure my car doesn't get hit by the stereotypical Chinatown drivers out there. My bf tried their mango smoothie and I found it a bit odd how no matter how viciously I shook the drink, the ingredients just didn't mix. Is it suppose to be like this? Nothing spectacular about this place.. The drinks are just average. This location is only great if you want a cheap boba fix for your cravings. However, keep in mind it's CASH ONLY. I always get the bubble green tea, thai tea slush, or jasmine green milk tea. The french fries and popcorn chicken are always good snack items as well! Also, parking can be a bit difficult but never impossible. Park either on the street or in the parking lot (good luck w/ that!) I've been a fan of Quickly since I first tried it in the bay area, and I was surprised to see one in Chinatown. Quickly is what boba drinks SHOULD cost. Most average around $2. They have all kinds of teas, milk teas, and slushes, including the more offbeat flavors like sesame and avocado. It isn't the BEST boba, and the balls and smaller and not very chewy, but it's fast-food, chain boba that gets you your fix for cheap. Very casual atmosphere. Not really the place to hang out and study for hours, but just to get your drink and go. I liked coming here after school because it was the biggest boba shop in Chinatown that had open space and seating to come here and chill with friends. It was also considered the cheapest amongst the many other ones too! But years have passed and the other boba shops upgraded too! I always liked this place for their comfortable atmosphere of being able to sit and mingle with friends, but the drinks were mediocre. It was never amazingly good. There was never consistency in their drinks. Sometimes they were too watered down. However, I did love their great prices in their snacks, which was ALWAYS good. No disappointment in that. Their customer service, however was not that great. They're not very nice. They just take your order and then leave and make your drink. No nice greeting or anything. Overall this place is mediocre. More like 2.5 stars. A tea and snack place in China Town that is tucked slightly off the Main Street on broadway. You will be able to see a sign with tea and other drinks if you walk by this area. The name here does not mention tea or Boba so it might throw you off a little. You can't really customize your order here with milk teas like having it unsweetened or hard the sweetness. The ice level can be customized tho. The service was nice and fast here, but unfortunately for the milk tea with Boba, it just fell slightly short there. I had ordered my milk tea with very very light ice so I can enjoy the true flavor of it. It was very light on the flavor to begin with so that wouldn't have made much of a difference. It tasted like milk with sugar and the boba was not soft, but slightly harder. Just a tad bit under average for what I am used to with my milk tea. The Teriyaki chicken combo was served with tender chicken and nicely cooked rice. The spring rolls were wonderfully crunchy and had nice soft middles... But the shrimp?!?! Man... Not the ounces in cups or prices per cup, or even given directly to you if asked. I think it should be. For example. I placed my order and was asked about size. Because of the menu I had assumed there was only one size; but I had already ordered and was told my request for lychee would be an additional .65(OK). I glanced at the cups and then the menu and asked the difference in prices. Instead of being told "well right now your total is 4.40, the next size is 5.05 and the next ....." Instead, I was just told each size up is an additional 65 cents. I'm not a total idiot but I also didn't intend on doing math on the fly while ordering more than a single drink and simply printing this on the menu would be effing awesome! One of my must-visit places whenever I'm in Chinatown. The drinks are consistent, the boba is nice and chewy, and the quality is terrific considering the price. Service is friendly enough. There has almost never been a line when I visit, and even when there is, it moves quickly (hehe). I've tried the Passion Fruit Green Tea as well as the Strawberry Milk Tea and they always tasty. This is one of the only boba spots near Chinatown. I actually didn't have any expectations coming into this boba spot since I haven't heard anything good about Quicklys. However, I was pretty surprised by the cleanliness, friendly staff and good snacks/drinks. They're not the best drinks/snacks I've had, but for that price, it's not bad at all. The wait was not too long, I ordered a chocolate smoothie and onion rings and waited about 5-10 minutes. Street parking is probably your best bet, they have a little private lot but it gets pretty packed. After 5pm, street parking is pretty easy and cheap, 50cents an hour for the meters near quickly on N.Hill street. Overall a good spot to hang out and have some snacks and drinks if you're near Chinatown and don't want to go too far. The chocolate smoothie is powder based, so do not expect a rich chocolate smoothie. I already knew this beforehand. Drinks are pretty sweet, so ask for less street. read more

I can't get enough of their Taiwanese sausage snack. It's kind of pricey for the amount you get, but I really do like the taste and texture of this wonderful snack. Today, I only had $5 and wasn't sure if I could afford both the snack AND a green tea with aloe so the nice cashier calculated the total for me. It came out to a little under $5 so I cheered, paid, and gave the rest as a mini-tip. It took a long time for the sausage to come out, but I get that they have to cook it thoroughly. Still, it took a while for the drink to be prepared even though I was only one of three customers in the shop. They're starting to sell Mango pudding at this location pretty soon and were giving away mini samples this afternoon. That stuff was preeeetty delicious and addicting! I'm actually craving some right now. Anyway, everything is relatively affordable here compared to other chains. The quality is comparable, but I definitely prefer Ten Ren. Try to avoid the place around 3 pm on weekdays that's when school is out and the place is packed with students meaning, long lines and no free tables. There milk tea boba's are amazing! Because of its longer hours and the fact I live walking distance from here--this is my "go to" for lychee slush boba... but to be honest, the tapioca pearls are hit or miss. Ideally they should be soft and chewy... but often they are tough. It reminds me of what happens when you store boba in the fridge overnight and the tapioca develops this "day old" consistency. This makes me speculate they might save unused tapioca balls overnight... The "street food" is decent; for a vegetarian the options are limited but the fried tofu, egg roll are fine if you're in a pinch for a snack. I have never ordered a full meal there. They have energy drinks and soda in a fridge, and some snacks like potato chips, instant ramen ($1.50) The fact is the quality of boba is on average, pretty mediocre, and there are better options in the vicinity (Ten Ren, Wings n Fish, Bubble U) but these establishments have more limited hours. The price is comparable to most, with a large boba costing $3.80 after taxes. They also have a loyalty card after 10 drinks but you can only get a regular (small) size drink and boba is not included (you'd have to pay 50 cents to upgrade), so it's not really the most generous reward card... but better than nothing. read more

There are many quickly locations everywhere in the world. This location is probably the best one int he LA area (don't recommend the one in monterey park. The staff is very friendly, and the drinks/food are consistent. I usually go for the milk tea with boba, or the grapefruit great tea. Their papaya milk tea is also excellent and they use real papaya. The popcorn chicken is also pretty tasty and reminiscent of Taiwanese street food (comes with basil for flavor and you can specify whether you want spicy or non spicy). Prices are cheaper then other boba places, and the quality difference is not that drastic. The lot costs money to park in however they do validate (not sure how much), but I usually call in my order, park quickly in the lot (let the person know you are just picking up) and its usually not a problem read more
