Some items were $1 or so above MSRP and some were $1 below according to Google. In line for a smaller market that doesn't order/carry huge quantities. Parking is easy with a them being in a business strip with a large lot. The owners were polite and courteous. I was greeted when I walked in and thanked when I left. She even threw in a couple of free small boxed milk drinks for paying with cash... It's nice to have for convenience here on the West side when you don't want to make the drive to C Fresh, Double Dragon, or Golden Land. And yes... No Coho, Atlantic, or Steelhead, just "salmon." No farm-raised or wild-caught, just "salmon". when I asked that pretty basic question the counterman said that he didn't know, and had to go to the back & ask someone whose response was "farm-raised from Chile". This place is good for one thing: If you are having a BBQ or a Super Bowl party and you want a quick & easy one-stop shop instead of running around a grocery store trying to find everything you need. First things first, let's talk food. After telling my mom I was heading her she asked me to grab her something to support the business. I got the buffalo mac and she get the red bean burger. The mac was amazing! It had a wonderful blend of texture and flavor. A kick (which I love) but it's wasn't overbearing. I've never even considered spinach in mac and cheese but loved it! I had one bite of my mom's burger and now am know exactly what I'm getting next time. It was...so good. It's been over 48hrs and I'm still thinking about it. Second, the service. They were so incredibly kind! The were happy, fun to have a little light chat with (even though I had never seen them before in my life). They were, finally, efficient! I can confirm they are Veteran Friendly and Support Veterans. This is my second year coming to Berkwood Farms and it won't be my last. What do they have that isn't delicious. Last year I got a Cherry Wood Smoked ham and it was absolutely amazing. This year I got a pit ham, Apple wood Ham, Cherry Wood Bacon, and Berkwood Dogs. I believe maybe the owner not sure, but he was also a Veteran gave me the bacon for free. Everything I have had, has been absolutely freaking delicious and had amazing flavor. No additives. The flavors are top notch and quality through the roof. I will be back more often because that bacon was like an additive drug and the pit ham was like pure addiction, and I am planning on going back to get my fix. The Gal at the register and the guy who gave me the bacon were super super nice. They also gave me a veterans discount which was awesome!
