This place is located on a hill and has limited parking in the front. It is truly a horrible location. The staff is extremely helpful. It cost me $27 to rent a lane for an hour, rent some googles, and rent some ear muffs. I also got something for target practice. Good price and nice staff. read more

I felt unsafe and unwelcomed almost immediately upon interacting with staff. There was a huge American Flag hanging over the entry that concerned me a bit, but I, as an African American woman, chose not to fear "our" American flag. To my surprise, I was "greeted" by a young black male with locs (his more perfect than mine). He immediately asked if I was there to "shoot." I replied yes, and that I would be needing to purchase ammunition as well. I had purchased my handgun that day from another shop. At this point, the young man was waiting on the other side of the counter. I went to take the weapon off my hip-- at a downward angle. My intent was to provide him the gun so that he could tell me more about the weapon and type of ammunition needed. Instead, he immediately became defensive and told me to put it "back" in my pocket. By this time, a large white man, I'm assuming another employee or perhaps the employer, came up to my left side and began searching me with his eyes. I immediately told them I had just purchased it and that it was not loaded. That's when the white gentleman winked at me, grinned, and said "it's always loaded." The other man (locs) agitatedly told me he could see what type of ammunition I needed from glancing at it-- so basically not to take it out. I then asked how would he have been able to tell me what type of ammunition was needed if I was unaware (which I was) and he hadn't had a chance to see the weapon. He became even more agitated and said I should have taken the weapon and put it in a basket first. His reply didn't make very much sense because that too would have required me to "handle" the weapon-- without having a chance to first explain why. I could see by his demeanor and tone that he was becoming more and more upset. To prevent him from escalating the situation, I told him I would buy the ammunition and leave. He paused for a second as if he wanted to refuse service. The white man, aforementioned, then said out loud "we need a group to come in here, it's quiet." As I was getting ready to leave I noticed there was another black man (slightly older) working behind the counter as well. He remained quiet, and hadn't seemed to look up even though we were the only 4 in the front of the store. I'm leaving this review because as a 5'5, 135lbs woman, I felt unsafe in this establishment and am concerned about the experience of others. Be safe out there. read more

My firing skills needed a refresher & after reading QS's website I was sold. The website's FAQs provide literally 99% of the information necessary for your visit. From the door, the employees behind the counter - strapped as well - made customers feel welcome regardless of skill level. After a quick Q&A with Matt, he gave me the lay of the land with the process & procedures of using the indoor range. While I picked out my firearms, he also told me that there's another employee inside the range to assist customers, who were doing just that when I got to my lane. The signage & verbal reminders of the do's & don'ts from the employees is very helpful & appreciated. Matt ended up coming back to the lanes & kindly gave me some more helpful tips...loading the clip on a hard surface is way easier oppose in your hand. After my shooting, Robby who looks like a former Special Ops assessed my target & gave me some tips for my return. There are private classes, memberships & you can swap out guns during your visit as your access is free yet you pay for the ammo. Safety is the number one priority at QS as the team of employees offers a wealth of knowledge for your trip to the indoor gun range. I got into target shooting back in August and quickly got into a rhythm of training every couple of weeks. But the vibe check at a lot of places I went was anywhere from a little to a lot off. Not Quickshot, though. They're always friendly, and it seems like a place I could hang out and do the events they host if I had the time. The staff are all friendly, women are always welcome and respected, and they generally serve a broad and youthful clientele. Within a month, I was hooked and became a member, and it's only gotten more fun since. I could burn a hole in my pocket shooting all the great guns they had, including lots of SW and Beretta pistols and the most full autos you'd wanna try (AK, M16, UMP, Uzi, AUG, p90). I will say the gun range is a bit expensive but it's best if you go with someone who has a membership and their own gun(s) (which is what I did) this way I only had to pay for Amo which was $60! This place was awesome. I met my friends here to shoot their new Smith & Wesson M&P 15s. However, I arrived much earlier than them and checked in on Yelp! I was immediately given a coupon for an automatic gun rental, which was awesome. My friends and I rented two lanes. I brought my favorite handgun, a chrome Ruger P89 with black grips. My friends also brought handguns, M&P Shield and Sig Sauer P320. The range goes up to 25 yards and if you bring your own ammo you don't have to pay for theirs. We had so much fun that my friends bought memberships after we spent three hours there. This place is great for shooters of all skill levels. If you have never shot before the knowledgeable staff will gladly assist and train you. You can rent two guns at a time but If you rent their guns you pay for their Ammon Insider Tip - they machine guns from several eras in the 20th century including the Thompson Submachine Gun (Tommy Gun) and the WWII Grease Gun! read more

We had a great time. The facilities were clean and the staff incredibly helpful. The ammo for sure is pricey. We did the free fully automatic rental via Yelp, and got two magazines for $70. I mean....it is a weapon of mass murder, but it was also really fun to shoot. Agree with others that masking is not up to par, though the staff member who primarily worked with us was masked the whole time, and I felt ok because my friend and I are both vaccinated. They were really nice in helping my friend who is foreign and had never shot before. We went in the middle of a weekday, and the place was not crowded. Super friendly and helpful staff and customers. If you are a serious about shooting skip this place at all costs. Lanes are tight , short and there is no common sense to spacing and safety. From the counters mouth to my ears when I advised them to not place anyone on a lane next to people who had 4 people. Besides it being not too safe and during COVID times. He states " We just try to pack them in as many as we can." Now when I went to this establishment there were young adults just letting off shots randomly without any purpose . I felt it was very reckless and not safe at all. No social distancing going an at all or any type of enforcement of social distancing. The main purpose was to get as much people in and have them spend money. There are better ranges out there so if thinking about location drive a little more for quality. read more

Been here a few times. It's a great facility. When you walk in, the front staff will greet you warmly. There are normally 3 or 4 folks at the counters. Al and James are the ones I remember from my trips. They are really helpful and super informative. I brought my two handguns (a S&W J-frame revolver and a Kahr CM9) and rented an AK and Remington 870 20 gauge shotgun. Don't take your personal guns out of your purse/bag/whatever until you get to the back area. If you check-in on Yelp, you get a free fully automatic gun rental. Yeah, fun times! My best friend came with me. She's never shot a gun...let alone held one. I asked Al and James to provide a safety course and show her the basics. After getting all set up at the front, we went to the back where the lanes are located. Manny took point on showing her the ropes. He taught me how load/engage the AK and shotgun. Heck, he even stood behind me to ensure I didn't fall from the kickback from firing the shotgun. It was a great first time experience for my friend. Definitely check this place out. I went back to Quickshot and had a much better experience than my first visit - so much so that I ended up getting a membership, which I've thoroughly enjoyed. This is a great range - the staff are friendly, they have plenty of guns to rent, with a particularly good selection of machine guns, and it's always clean and comfortable. It's affordable, too - the only reason I'm able to shoot regularly is because I've been able to get good prices on Quickshot memberships, and since the membership allows you to bring another person I've been teaching friends and coworkers how to shoot. There are only a couple of downsides to this range. One, it's a 20-yard range, even shorter than your average indoor length of 25 yards. Two, the experience for an experienced shooter is much different depending on when you go. On weekdays, the staff maintain a safe environment but are otherwise mostly hands off. On weekends, they get more intrusive, even about issues that don't affect safety. I understand this somewhat, as the weekends tend to pack the range full of brand-new or more casual shooters who need strict monitoring. However, most ranges I go to will pretty quickly figure out that I'm an experienced shooter who doesn't need to be so strongly scrutinized - not so much at Quickshot. Minor criticisms aside, this is a good range with a convenient location and a nice interior. Check it out. read more

So I finally gave this location another chance. They have new instructors. Praise the lord they got rid of the lady who didn't know the different ammo types. So I learned this new target stance that immediately improved my target shot. This is the thing many instructors have different styles of teaching and stances that keeps you grounded and stable. I never knew a slight adjustment to my stance would perfect my bullseye! Yippy I learned something new and I learned how to breakdown my glock. I've been loving this place for a while. I would take my friends for out of town for a quick shot just to experience something fun. I knew that shooting range could be very expensive at some states but not here. If I'm bringing friends who never shoot before, I'll get the voucher on Groupon first. They have great deal on Groupon like $32 for 2 people or something. The deal is for semi auto, but one can always upgrade the gun to whichever he/she likes. Just need to pay extra, but I'd say it's good deal for first time tryer. The staffs are very friendly and willing to answer to any question. The environments are great, clean and safe. read more

What a fantastic way to spend a Friday night!! Myself and 5 other friends visited their Buckhead location and had a blast. We took advantage of a recent Groupon special and we're happy we did because we definitely enjoyed every minute we were there and will be sure to make future visits with new friends. That saying of "time flies when you're having fun" was so true in our case. Their location is very easy to find. It's the building right near Greens liquor store off of Buford Hwy NE in Buckhead. (Note: Make sure if you are going to "GPS" it, that you include "NE" after Buford Hwy or you're be circling around Doraville lost and confused.) One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the clean, bright and spacious layout with modern decor. Everything from the complimentary coffee and cookies to the plush brown pleather sets make your initial impression of this place very inviting and pleasant. We were greeted by Justin and Janan who were both helpful in explaining how our experience will occur from start to finish. Both Justin and Janan were very easy to work with and super patient with us as we ask our questions and address our concerns. The range itself has plenty of space as well. They have 12 booths and the set up is simple with plenty of room to keep your distance as shells fly all over the place. Gavin was helping all 6 of us inside the gun range and he took great care of us there as well. We shot the MP5, Taurus 40 Cal, S&W 22 Cal, Glock 9MM. The MP5 was definitely a crowd favorite and Janan was wonderful at showing each one of us how to shoot the machine gun for the first time. This is definitely a MUST VISIT location if it's your first time or 100th time shooting guns. One thing that is unique about this company is they do not sell any firearms. You are able to bring your own and bullets but this is not a place you visit to buy firearms. Their ear protectors are awesome, have plenty of fun targets to choose from, you can purchase bullets here and their hourly rates are reasonable/competitive. I'd give zero stars if possible. I purchased a Glock online and it was sent to this location for pickup. Went to pick it up once it arrived and the welcoming was nonexistent. Very rude. I could feel the negative energy as soon as I opened the door. I told them what I was there for and the two white men, one older with a bald head and the other young with short dark hair, just looked at me with faces of disgust. Rather than asking my name, the younger one asked what type of gun it was. I knew it was a Glock and the color was gray and black, but was unsure of the model. I turned to my boyfriend who is very familiar with firearms, due to his father's time served in the military (Vietnam Vet) and his interest growing up around them, to ask him what the exact name was. They refused to give me what I already purchased. When I asked why, they said because they assumed I was purchasing it for someone else. They stole my purchase by assuming that and saying it was their policy, but never had a copy of their policy to show me and prove that, when I asked for the written policy. This was upright discrimination! They saw a white woman come in with a black man and immediately assumed I was buying it for him and apparently they assumed he was a felon? Very racist move. They never asked to run my background or his, so how is what I did illegal? They are not the police, they are FFL dealers that clearly want to give interracial couples a difficult time. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They knew they didn't want to give me my purchase the minute they saw us get out of the car. It's a shame and truly disgusting that anyone can be so hateful because of the color of someone's skin. It makes me sick to my stomach. When I called the facility a couple days later, to get some tracking information on my refund, they also assumed it was sent back to the online seller, because "nothing was in the return area", but couldn't give me any tracking information because that's "not what they do". It took about 2 weeks to get my refund back. This is not the first purchase I've made online, just the first time it was ever sent to this facility. At the other facilities previous purchases were sent to, I've NEVER had this happen. They should just want to make the sale, you would think, but apparently their racist ways clouded their minds that day. Watch out for this place. read more

Great experience, walked in this morning and was greeted by Al, he introduced himself right away and asked my experience level. We chatted for a moment and explained their rules which were typical range rules. The range was very nice and clean, the guy in the back watching the shooters kept the cartridges swept away and was also very pleasant. Note: I came here with a co worker's husband who works in Law Enforcement, so... my experience at Quickshot is probably different than most people's. Quickshot Buckhead is right next to Poncho's. Building itself looks meh, but once you enter, it's pretty nice. Parking - It's OK! Not many spots up front, but you can park at the side of the building. Inside - Extremely nice lounge. Wow. One of the nicest ones I've been to. Service - Guy up front took our IDs, gave me goggles/ear protection, asked us to sign in, and gave us our shooting paper. They do have different types of shooting paper too. He was nice - I liked him. Was very informative when it came to gun laws... since I am planning to purchase 1-2 very soon. Price - I paid 20 bucks for an hour. Unsure if it's too pricey or ok. My co worker's friends brought his own guns and ammo. So.. we literally just used a lane. The instructors/watchers inside were cool. Made sure all the new gun folks were very aware of their surroundings and told them rules. BTW - I wouldn't buy guns here haha. Why? We visited quickshot for the first time today. Prior to the visit I purchased a one hour machine gun rental for two via Groupon ($50). I am not familiar with guns and have not been to a range. I wanted to familiarize myself with a second gun. We requested to add a 9mm to our time and we were told it would be an up charge of $15 for the rental. We agreed and proceeded to the lanes. The employees that help while shooting were great. We completed our hour and took our rentals back to the desk. I was told that my total would be $80 on top of the $50 I had already sent online via Groupon. I was confused and asked for a break down of what I was being charged. The man at the counter showed me what Groupon had included, the second rental we asked to include, and 3 extra boxes of bullets (costing $20 box)...THAT I DID NOT ASK FOR! Before entering the lanes I was NEVER told that the bullets weren't already a counted for...I am not aware of how these things work considering I've never been to a range! (Quickshot knew this because they asked upon arrival) after back and forth with the guy at the counter (while the "manager" stood back and did absolutely nothing) he told me, "you were given the bullets but you didn't have to shoot them." We love quick shot! The location is a little sketchy. It honestly it's the best in the area. They have fully auto guns for rent and the people are very friendly and actually know what they are talking about. They offer a special on a membership around Father's Day that saves you like 200 dollars if you do want a membership! The actual facility is clean and they offer refreshments to their guests.
