Triple combo (steak, chicken and shrimp), with noodles, fried rice and veggies. SOOO GOOD!!!
    Tear S.

To think that I almost never came back to this place! Lol! Rewind back a couple of months ago. I went for the first time with my sister. The food was absolutely delicious and I was indeed very satisfied. I had ordered the triple combo (shrimp, beef, and chicken). My sister ordered the salmon and shrimp combo, I believe. She wasn't very impressed with the salmon, stating that it didn't taste fresh (more like those frozen bagged fillets from Walmart). We both had half fried rice and half noodles. EVERYTHING I had was fresh and so good! About a week or so after that visit, I went very early, right around opening time (10:30am). I work overnight and didn't eat lunch. I had a taste for Quickway and set my sights on getting there right when they opened. The doors were open and I walked in. It was probably around 10:45 at that point and when one of the workers saw me, he said they weren't ready and to come back in a half hour. I was very tired after my hour and a half drive from work and decided not to wait. I was so annoyed, but very recently, I decided to give them another chance. When I arrived, I discovered that the hours had changed from 10:30 to 11:00am. It was a few minutes after 11 and I was worried that they wouldn't be ready to serve customers again- but this time, I was greeted and asked my order! I ordered the same dish as before (the triple combo and added veggies for an additional cost of $2.50). I added a bottled soda. My order came to the total of $18 and change. Not bad for what I received. Three more people came in after me. I sat at one of the stools and waited patiently as the cooks started on the grill. The restaurant from what I saw was pretty clean, nothing extreme to rave about. After about ten minutes, my food was ready. The nice gentleman that gave me my order was very generous with the sauces. I couldn't wait to get home! When I got home I dug right in. Everything from the rice and noodles to the meat and vegetables were hot and fresh. The sesame seasoning they sprinkled at the end was a perfect finishing touch. If you're looking for a *quick* and tasty lunch or dinner (or late breakfast, lol), get to Quickway! If I didn't have food in the fridge, I would've went again today! 5 stars!

Food was good and tasty. I enjoyed my Bento box which included beef and shrimp. I wished they had some duck sauce for the spring rolls. We dined inside for lunch on 7.24.23. I told hubby the food was good and worth coming back to try more choices.

Decided to eat here after attempting to eat at 2 other places in the area. I got the bento box, and I can say it's well worth the price which is very reasonable I might add. I went mid day no wait, food was fast and hot, portion is huge enough to eat and have enough for two other meals.

Received x2 spicy crab and shrimp roll which I clarified with staff at the location twice and was told this was 2 rolls

False advertising on the sushi rolls. Ordered X2 shrimp rolls which and was told it was only 4 pieces each. Even called back to confirm and they said 4 pieces per roll.. The website tells a different story and advertises 8 pieces per roll for the sushi rolls. In addition to this the online ordering system provides a poor user experience with no way to add extra sauces for sushi like spicy mayo which means when you ask for it unlike other restaurants they make you pay 50 cents. This wouldn't bother me as much if there was a way to add it to my online order, but instead the customer is punished for the business's poor website user experience.

Quick, fast and tasty stand alone establishment that mirrors Sarku in your local mall. Nice grilled tofu protein option!

I think I would have liked kani salad rather than a whole crabstick in the burrito. I also purchased the 3 roll lunch special - each maki roll comes with 8 pieces, which I always like. The rice wasn't my favorite cook, I think a little crumbly. The avocado included was fresh. I think the salmon wasn't the freshest tasting but certainly not bad. I enjoyed the eel avocado roll the most. I prefer California rolls with kani salad instead of crab stick. The owner/cashier was very nice and offered to re-bag my food into one bag. The paper bag was custom to the restaurant and of nice quality. The interior was nice for dining in, though a little warm given the temperature outside. It was nice of them to include a lot of yum-yum sauce on the side - good for hibachi dishes. Spicy mayo would be better for sushi in my opinion. I'd like to come back to try their hibachi items.

I can't complain too much because the price was reasonable. The noodle was horrible. I knew the noodles were no good the moment I saw the cook place them in the platter. Walking in, we saw a huge, clear plastic barrier side to side and most of the way to the ceiling, and i wondered why. It looks awful and is off-putting, which is what restaurants do not want. You order through a small gap in the plastic. I ordered the Japanese chicken noodle soup, and it arrived piping hot. After it cooled a bit, i tried the broth and IMO it lacked flavor. The chicken breast in it was very tender, and the baby boy Choi did not really seem to complement the soup. Also, I ordered a shrimp egg roll, yup, you guessed, right. It was all cabbage and 1 shrimp, only 1 of the tiniest shrimp I've ever seen and very greasy. It was disappointing. My husband ordered the shrimp and chicken on fried rice ( the man working there said this is their most popular dish). What arrived was only shrimp on the fried rice and no chicken. It was ok, a bit on the sweet side. Generous serving. Generally speaking, the menu is limited, and that is good when you can expect what they do being done well. I would much rather have it that way instead of a restaurant that has lots and lots, meaning quality vs. quantity. In this visit, the quality was off for my portion of the meal. Prices are reasonable for what you order. Service was really good and accommodating. They were very friendly.

There are so many things to try here such as their hot hibachi, sushi, seafood, meats, desserts, and more! I will say that most of the time, the food is hot and there are frequent refills but other times, the food can be a bit cold and taste a bit old. Servers are good with clearing your old plates and one even helped me open a rambutan fruit! Some seafood is great and some is poor quality- it would probably take a couple visits to figure out the items that are worth getting. The restaurant's ambiance is very hustle and bustle and a little overwhelming because of all the people constantly going back for more but thats something you expect when going to a buffet. I did witness a man threatening to assault a worker there who didnt speak English because he accidentally hit him with a cart. I also saw a young child have his hand in the jello dessert without an adult. We did enjoy the coconut shrimp, beef, crab rangoons, kimchi, sushi, banana pudding, Asian chicken dishes, noodle bar.

The only reason this isnt 1 star review is because the food was ok. We were visiting on a weekend at 12:30. We weren't at a hibachi table. My husband asked for a gin and tonic. But there is no tonic water and our server couldn't offer any alternatives. Their beers were all flavorless pilsners or light beers. The plates are an interesting mix of heavy and large or flimsy and plastic. It made the meal strangely awkward. The food arrived and my husband asked for normal sodium soy sauce. We were told that all the green soy sauce bottles are filled with normal soy sauce. So they are either lying to us about everything being normal. Or they're lying to everyone else and refilling bottles that say low sodium with normal soy sauce. The server was below average and didn't clear anything from the awkward table. She was trying but was just not very good. There is a mandatory 18% gratuity that I asked to change given the service. I wouldn't normally punish a server for the restaurant's short comings but she was bad at her job. I was told their payment system couldn't do this. I asked to speak to a manager. No one would be in until 5pm. I am so glad I don't live near this place and have other options for Japanese food. I don't ever need to go back. This is my first review because I've never had a such a bad experience.
