Price point seemed a bit high when I ordered, but after opening the wrapper, you are getting everything you paid for and then some. The sandwiches are huge with more ingredients on the inside than bread to hold everything together. Everything was fresh and tasty though I thought the bread was pretty average. Tried out this deli for the first time.they have an active FB page, but no website. I was unable to find their menu in advance so I went inside to place my order. It's a cute place with some tables outside and a small dining room. Their menu is handwritten on the wall and a bit challenging to see. Upon looking at it, a staff member offered us a paper menu, which they said is easier to read. We ordered the 'crummy Italian' cut in half to go. Service was very friendly & we signed up for their drawing for a free sandwich. The sandwich was huge - plenty for two of us to share. It was chock full of meats, veggies, and fresh mozzarella. It was perfectly seasoned. Looking forward to another visit. I especially love that they self Butcher Shop Bake Company (out of Rhinelander) desserts. Will try them next time. read more

This place is AMAZING. The sandwiches are incredible. Three times the weight and taste considered to anyone else around. But on top of that the staff and everyone associated with the place are kind, generous and decent human beings. When we were there today, they actually had a man selling bbq pork sandwiches from a pig roast in their parking lot! Why? They are wonderful people and wanted to be able to support the additional traffic associated with the Tomahawk Rally. In other works they were ok more than happy to support a competitor to best serve their customers and the community. We will be back. read more

WOW!!!! Great food, great service. I had the quite side sammy and it was piled HIGH with the meat and cheese. Every thing was fresh and tastee. Unlike a sub at Subway where I could eat the whole 12" sub, not here. Could only eat 1/2 the sub. Tells you how much they pile the goods on. Bread was perfect. A bit crunchy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside. But never got soggy! Crunchy is a good thing. Had a teramasu desert. I left wanting more... Owner was friendly. Even had time to come over and sit and talk with my wife and I. Best of all, even though they closed for the day, she served late comers. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!! Could only wish more restuarants had the same level of service and product quality in the area as Quite Side Deli. I definetely will return and reccomend you go as well. Dave read more

This deli was highly recommended by another restaurant/bar owner in the area. It looked great but unfortunately they lost my business because they don't accept credit cards. It's their decision, I'm sure they're great people, but in my opinion it's a poor business decision. I drive the entire state and I do not use an ATM/cash for my expenses on the road. Great people and great sandwiches. Truly an awesome addition to the area! I love a good deli sandwich and this place is awesome. I highly suggest splitting a sandwich as they're massive! My kids couldn't fit it in their mouth but they still found a way to eat it. This would be a great sandwich anywhere but adding it up here is an even bigger plus, since you can't find anything close. Quiet Side Deli is absolutely excellent. The sandwiches are beyond amazing. My P-Way roast beef panini was 3 inches of prime tender roast beef layered with cheese, red onions and a horseradish aioli. Mmmmm! My husband's sandwich was equally delicious - and huge!!!! Someone at the next table had the meatball sandwich and could not say enough about it - great meatballs with no fillers covered in luscious sauce and cheese. It's on my list for the next visit. The people there are very friendly and welcoming. Big tables by the fireplace to sit and chat over the great food. Highly recommend it!!! read more

What DON'T we recommend about this amazing place! I was extremely fortunate enough to be one of their earliest customers and will remain one ALWAYS! First, with no question, are the owners and employees of this deli! They are wonderful and bend over backwards to make sure every customer has a fantastic experience and they make friends with everyone who walks thru their doors! They create each Sammie with love and care! That may take time but I promise it is well worth it! The time and deliberation they put into the choice of their vendors and the products they send out the door is a labor of love! Everything is perfect and their ingredients hand chosen to perfection! The prices are MORE than comparable for the quality, taste and service in this area! Every sandwich we have had is fantastic! My favorite...the turkey club and my husband...the Quiet Side! Being from Chicago...I can confirm their hot dogs are the best!! Second only to a cart downtown by the Shedd Aquarium!! Every visit is a chance to win a sammie!! try your luck! We have very few places to eat in the Northwoods that isn't bar food. Finding a place you can get fresh ingredients made to order is really nice and they are really good. I've had the sub twice now and both times I told myself I was only going to eat half but I couldn't stop until I finished it. I would consider myself a potato and macaroni salad snob because store bought I won't even touch but I tried theirs and they are as good as mine. I also tried a piece of carrot cake and it was very good also and big enough for a few days of slices from it. They are a little expensive but worth the price. I will stop in often. The owners are very nice and are trying hard to put out a good product. Go there! read more

What a great little place, up in the northwoods of Hazelhurst, WI! Wonderful variety of soup & sandwiches, on their menu. I don't recall the name of the sandwich I tried but it was served on Cranberry/Rosemary bread. The sandwich was very fresh and generous...infact, it ended up being 2 meals. While we were there, you could choose an ornament off their little Christmas tree. My friend got a free coozie and I got $2 off my sandwich! Give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

If you are in the area, hell, even if you aren't, don't bother looking for one of those chain sandwich shops. For the same amount of money, you will experience THE greatest sammich you've ever tried to wrap your hands around and I'm not even referring to the Blame Happy!
