Tough to find really good chinese food in North County. Went here from a couple of recommendations on some friends, plus reading some of the reviews, I thought, what the heck, I'll try it. Ordered a bunch of things for take-out: wonton soup-chock full of veggies which I loved, but broth was sort of bland, which is good if not feeling well, and there weren't many wontons in it. Honey walnut shrimp, house special fried rice, house special chow mein, and mongolian beef, were all super fresh, and steaming hot when I brought it home. I was impressed by the amount of shrimp, chicken and pork that were in all the dishes. The portions were surprisingly large. Definitely will go again! read more

I hate to be this person but me and my mate just came from this place, spent over 45.00 on food that was terrible. The paper chicken wrapped is as terrible as it sounds, the egg foo Yung is awful and taste like crab cakes but not good, and everything else was terribly cooked and cold. I am an easy to satisfy kind of person so for me to complain and go out of my way, it's a huge deal. Please do not waste your money like we just did. Absolutely my favorite chinese place. The food is just soo good, and I love their Garlic Chicken. They are super fast to complete your order, and the portions are big. I eat there every time I'm in the area, and never had a reason to be disappointed. The man at the register is always friendly, and so are the cooks (from the counter, you can watch them do their job). Nothing short of 5 stars! Been coming here for the past year and a half and the food has never been short of delish. After tonight I knew I had to write a review.. Came in for my normal orange chicken with fried rice and there was a mix up with my fried rice. Spoke with the cashier and they made me a fresh batch right away and gave me a free drink for the inconvenience! I will definitely continue to come here. Costumer service at its best! read more

Order the Wonton SOUP! Out of this world. The food is good. Not all MSG'd out like traditional American-Chinese food. Some good dishes and the service is great. Good prices. I would definitely go again. You should try it and see how you feel. read more

I hate to give a business a bad review. The manager at Quik Wok practically begged me to by refusing to resolve a problem I encounter with my meal. I am really disappointed that the Quik Wok doesn't seem to care if a customer is satisfied. I have been driving 15 min. each way just to buy a couple of dinners a week at Quik Wok. NO MORE. You do get a lot of food for your money but when you don't get what you asked for and the veggies are a pile of mush (what was of them) it should have been easy to resolve. If the soups are indicative of the rest of their foods then this place rates as the worst Chinese restaurant on the planet. The only difference between the veggie soup and the won ton was two won tons (and they were falling apart). Tasted like dishwater. Prices are way too high. I could feed four people back in Philly for what they charged for two small soups at any Chinese restaurant. The only thing that kept me from taking it back and dumping it in their laps was my wife. My husband and I have been going here every 2 weeks for the last 10 years! We love this place! The manager is awesome and very welcoming to us every visit! All the employees know what we order unless we decide to switch it up which is rare.. All the food taste fresh and great! Always get Pot Stickers, Cream Cheese Wontons, Egg Fried Rice, Garlic Chicken, and Mongolian Beef! The service is fast and consistent! Love the food, great taste, great portions, and the price is very reasonable. The service is amazing, I brought my three little girls here for a Mommy/Daughter lunch we were only supposed to get two soups with our meal(which btw was the h&s soup and it's amazing and my kids LOVE it) but the owner saw them all sharing and loving it so he brought another one over for them. I have been going to quik wok since 05', its' the best quick chinese food around this area, can't beat it. Mongolian beef is outstanding, its been my number one dish. Try the paper wrapped chicken, they are delicious. read more

If I could I would give this restaurant no stars, rudest experience ever! So this used to be my favorite spot for Chinese food (great food, terrible service) I had ordered food but I asked for a extra bowl of rice (each order comes with a bowl of rice doesn't matter if you & your friends all order separately you will only receive one bowl of rice since they're super stingy with their rice ) I didn't realize the cashier never charged me for it, finally when my food came I told the server (I believe he is the owner) politely that I had ordered an extra bowl of rice & when I showed him my receipt I was not charged for it so he raised his voice at me saying "WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT, IT DOES NOT SAY THAT!" Keep in mind the restaurant is filled with other people. So obviously I raised my voice saying I had ordered an extra bowl of rice but it was okay I would pay for it since I was never charged. He decided to walk away with the bowl of rice & proceed to grab from the microwave & serve it onto the bowl already filled with rice & slammed in onto our table! If you're planning on coming here just know that you will be treated like garbage & you will not be served for what you payed for if you come here! Save your money go across the street to Los tacos!
