I used to come here all the time when it was sugar spice and I was so sad when they close down. I didn't realize that they had been bought out and they have new ownership so of course I had to come back. Of course I had to get my Boston cream doughnut. And then also try their bagel sandwich. Honestly, everything was delicious, fast and good service. I didn't really get a coffee or anything cause I don't do coffee I just got a Dr Pepper. But I was really happy. A great place to get a quick breakfast. The service is friendly and dining area is spacious. I got the egg and bacon breakfast bowl. It has a lot of bacon and the serving is generous. I also tried the almond croissant. It was slightly crispy on outside and soft when bite into it. read more

I really wanted to like this place because my experience started off great. The staff were friendly and everything seemed promising. I ordered a shaken espresso with hazelnut and cinnamon, and it was made quickly. Unfortunately, the drink itself was not good at all. After a few sips, it was very clear the espresso shots were off; extremely bitter and sour, like they were pulled incorrectly or not fresh. I used to be a barista myself, so I'm not someone who complains lightly or doesn't understand how drinks are made. This was genuinely a bad drink. I typically don't like to say anything and never ask for remakes, but this was so bad that I went back up to the counter and politely asked if I could swap it for a simple iced vanilla latte. I wasn't asking for anything fancy just something drinkable. I was told they would have to charge me again because it "wasn't their fault" and that they had made the drink correctly. That response was honestly surprising and disappointing. Even if a drink is technically made "correctly," quality still matters. A coffee shop should stand behind what they serve. I ended up leaving with a full drink I couldn't even enjoy. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I think it's important for management to reconsider how they handle situations like this. A simple remake or refund would have completely changed my experience. Ended up going to another cafe, told them about my experience here, and they gave me a coffee on the house; to me that's great customer service. read more

My partner and I had the BEST experience at S & P! We both got bagels, I got a strawberry donut with sprinkles and a cheese danish (drool!!!). I'm not lying when I say these are the best donuts and cheese danish I've ever had. Also went back in to grab an iced shaken espresso with hazelnut and cinnamon. Can obviously tell all these items are made with love and care. I also wouldn't mind having some extra bacon in my sandwich or burrito unlike the other reviewer, as this bacon was cooked PERFECT ;) Have already been back two more times because of this and the service was impeccable. The epitome of a family owned business. There is a room next to the cafe that's connected for those who want to sit and enjoy their coffee. This wasn't just bad--it was downright vile. The tea tasted like it had been rotting in a dumpster for days, and the boba? Disgusting, like chewing on spoiled sludge. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. How could anyone serve something this foul and call it fresh? It's not just off-putting; it's a health hazard. We used to love this place and would take our kids there every Sunday. The coffee was delicious and the donuts were always so fresh and soft. Last week we ordered breakfast - my husband got a bacon and egg burrito and it had TONS of bacon. Not in good way. Overwhelming. He couldn't even eat it. Today, they told us they couldn't make the crème brûlée coffee. She said she could make it on certain days because the pot wasn't staying hot?? Lol Bottom line, the new management really came in and did this place dirty! We threw out the donuts and the coffee this morning :( Our favorite donut shop is unfortunately no more for our family. I had gone to this bakery a couple of days after they took it over from Sugar and Spice and I wasn't very impressed. Today a wonderful neighbor brought us some pastries from here and WOW! I've been coming here since the old management and let me just say the new management is amazing. They are so friendly and kind and really freshened up the place with a new pop of color and awesome seasonal drinks. I came in on Friday around 2:50 and the barista with bass pro shop hat was very welcoming. They still accepted my drink order even though it was close to close and I could tell they were cleaning up. I also got fresh donuts and would 100% recommend stopping here in the morning. I usually don't leave reviews but this place is really rocking it! read more
