I have decided that they just need to change the name of this place because I have been robbed. I have been living up on this mountain for nearly two years, having no idea that we have a breakfast/brunch/lunch cafe in the one and only strip mall in our little village. I thought it was just a bagel place. I can take or leave bagels. I can pick up a bag at Safeway. On this particular day I showed up ready to shop at said Safeway, famished. There was a sandwich board outside of Oasis with smoothie specials. They've got something besides bagels? Due to my tendency to go off list and grab unhealthy groceries when I'm hungry (that ends up rotting in the fridge) I ducked into Oasis. What? I just stood there for a second. My mountain neighbors were grazing contentedly at their tables. The menu boards were crammed with options. Things I like. Where do I even begin? My husband had been gatekeeping. I called and told him that I found this cafe and asked if he wanted anything - and he said he'd been there a couple of times before on the way to work. The bagels (though he told me that they were fresh and delicious) were a footnote to all the offerings. I honestly felt overwhelmed. The cashier said I could choose a fresh baked item - I selected a croissant - and they'd stuff it with sandwich ingredients. I chose chicken salad and it was epic. Generous shreds of chicken in a flavorful dressing that was creamy without tasting like greasy mayo. To top it off, you can choose a "free" bag of gourmet chips off a rack. That treat makes your $9 sandwich reasonably priced. I got it all to go, for lunch later, and picked up a green smoothie to get me through the store. When I walked in Safeway this lady asked, "Did you get that next door? It's so good isn't it?" All of my neighbors have been gatekeeping, while I have been relegated to Subway and Starbucks. Another time, I went to Oasis with my husband and got a breakfast burrito and fresh squeezed OJ, which were so good. We were anticipating an overnight guest from the east coast so we picked up a few black-and-white cookies for dessert and crumb cake to complement our home-cooked breakfast. All were very fresh and tender baked goods; our guest told us she felt so special. Next I'm going to try their deli sandwich since my tendency is drive over a half hour down the hill to Jersey Mike's, thinking I had no choice. These gatekeepers get on my nerves. read more

I hate garlic and garlic hates me. When I order a bagel with plain cream cheese and I get home and bite into it and get bombarded with garlic taste I want to gag. If this had happened just one or two times I probably wouldn't complain but it has happened considerably more times than that and I end up just tossing out the bagel as it tastes gross. Not sure I'll order any more bagels there. The sandwiches and dessert's are great so I might just stick with those. read more

Love coming here. We make it a point to make the 35 min drive here. Their bagels are huge & fairly priced. Tons of flavor options to choose from along with various cream cheese flavors. They also have drinks & other bakery items you can choose from. The inside isn't super large, but there is seating indoor and outdoor to enjoy your items. They've got a bathroom as well. Workers are always nice and helpful with any questions you may have about flavors. Paid $17 for 4 bagels and 3 water cups, great price in my opinion! read more

We live in Chandler but swung by for a bite after a football game on this side of town. Pleasantly surprised. We ordered 3 different things and they were all good. Not just bagels but I had a chicken pesto sandwich that was really good. The cinnamon roll was also very good. What stood out to me was the service though... young kids who were super pleasant and seemed to actually care. You don't see that much these days. I received better customer service here than a five star restaurant! Absolutely outstanding! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches on bagels and a cold brew coffee. We waited for our food at a table outside and when it was delivered, the staff noticed the meat and cheese was transposed onto the opposite bagel choices and was going to bring them back. We were fine reassembling them ourselves and appreciated the offer. I added sugar free vanilla syrup to my cold brew and it was great. The prices were in the high end, but it was WELL worth it due to the high quality ingredients and epic customer service. read more

The bagels are decent. Chewy and soft. The place is small with a handful of tables inside and outside. The overall issue with this establishment is lack of cleanliness. The front door is the "welcome mat" to a business. Unfortunately it was very grimy and dirty glass. It doesn't get better inside either. As a local to the area probably won't visit again. read more

I originally rated this place with 5 stars. We came back here for breakfast and coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and a latte with coffee grounds was served. I took it back to the young girl dressed in pajamas to remake it. The second cappuccino came out and it was NOT EVEN a latte....no foam and Luke warm, it took about 15min too and no one was in there. I opted for a cold brew because it seems like you havnt trained your employees on how to make various coffee drinks. If you're going to offer lattes/cappuccinos/frappes... teach your staff the difference between them. NO ONE SHOULD PAY FOR A 4-5$ coffee if you don't know what you're doing. Make it worth the money and I don't mind paying 6$ for a coffee. Train your staff on coffee drinks PLEASE or don't serve it read more

Stopped by back in August for some bagels & cream cheese. The bagels were good a bit on the chewy side but they are my favorite. The cream cheese spreads are really good. The sun dried tomato one, is excellent. We got a couple other pastries & they were good. It was busy in there but service was good. Its a small place so grab & go is perfect. read more

If you desire a meat with the sandwich you will be paying extra for it. This is called add on's and they are not telling you. Jalepeno cream cheese has good flavor, seems like a plain cream cheese with chopped pickled (jarred Jalepeno) which creates a vinegar bite. Bagels are thicker and smaller but have good air pockets. Simple menu and plenty of inside and outside seating. Offers military discount so deserves a visit if you're in the area!! Today I was a first time buyer at this shop even though I've driven by it many times while going to the Safeway. I was not aware that they used the true method of boiling the bagels before baking. Normally they would get five stars but they were just a few detractions. I do consider myself a bagel expert, having grown up 11 mi from Manhattan and having worked in Manhattan myself. First off there was a problem with the packaging. It was ordered through Postmates and usually the packaging is sealed somewhat. My bakers dozen arrived in a paper bag with handles but totally open and not sealed up at all. Secondly, it was a mixture of half cinnamon raisin, half everything bagels. Any good bagel shop knows that you segregate the cinnamon raisins from the everythings so the garlic and onion and other savory toppings don't affect the flavor of the cinnamon raisin. This is the first time I've ever received both kinds of bagels mixed together in the same bag. Thirdly, I had also ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, Nova salmon, onion, tomato, and capers. It was nicely cut in half and traditionally wrapped in white butcher paper. What was not nice was finding it amidst the baker's dozen of bagels and not in its own separate bag! Usually bagels ordered as a la carte sandwich items are wrapped separately and bagged separately, not bouncing around covered up by loose unadorned bagels. I thought to myself "Who is working there? Certainly not anybody from New Jersey or New York!" The last detraction was one aspect of my everything bagel. It had the right texture, the right taste, the right bite to it; the only thing that was missing was that for an everything bagel it was missing a lot of everything seasoning on the exterior. Traditionally the bagels are inundated with the topping. Thankfully I keep everything seasoning on hand at home so I was able to enhance the bagel to my liking. I have not tried the cinnamon reason yet, and was unable to sample the jalapeno cheddar because they were out of stock. Will I return? Certainly. But I hope that their packaging improves. read more

I stopped in for the first time a couple days ago and I just have to say WOW! I got a bagel sandwich on the cinnamon toast bagel and not only was it amazing, it was FRESH. They have so many options that I saw other customers eating that looked amazing as well. I also got the Wolf energy drink on the side and I would come back again just for that. My daughter got a strawberry banana smoothie and it was a huge hit for her as well. Not only was the food amazing, but it came out in probably less than 5 minutes, super speedy. The owners and workers there were very nice and polite and this has now easily become my go to spot!!! read more

The workers are very nice but it is a bit strange when the person making your coffee is wearing pajamas and looks 16. Nothing wrong with it if the coffee tasted decent but it's doesn't.
