I was immediately impressed by the trendy ambience and how busy the place was. As I looked around there were plenty of happy faces that appeared to enjoy their food. I was a bit concerned that the chicken would be too hot for my girlfriend, she is super sensitive to spicy foods. It turns out that each menu option offered a variety of spice levels. She didn't have any trouble finding something she felt she could handle. While we waited we had a chance to sample the sauce bar and tried a few of the different Peri-Peri Sauces. They were super tasty and it made me extra excited to try the food. I ended up ordering the half chicken and my girlfriend ordered the Peri-Peri Rainbow Bowl. As an appetizer we ordered the fried cheese, and for desert the Naughty Nata. Everything was amazing. Each bite was packed full of flavor and the chicken was super juicy. I also enjoyed the Naughty Nata. It was a nice treat to wrap up a good meal. The only downside I had was about the spiked lavender lemonade. We had trouble figuring out how to order a pitcher through the app. When we received the pitcher I wasn't able to tell if there was any tequila in the drink. The lemonade itself was delicious but I wasn't sure if they forgot to add the alcohol. After our first experience we both agreed we will have to come back to try their sandwiches.
