Two dry ass scrambled eggs, a skimpy, one piece French toast, two strips bacon one with hair ( human/cook ) and home fries.. I mean potato chips...... That really suck. My egg white spinach/mushroom omelette was just ok, same crappy chips and a greasy fried oil saturated scrapple slice.... Thought we would try something new. Both of us got an omelette. 1 western, 1 veggie. Omelettes were okay. Home fries that came with it were odd. Sliced like thick chips, but not crisp, and not thick enough to be soft. Chewy, but not pleasant. Also very bland, even after adding salt and pepper to them. This is a very small breakfast diner with friendly service and a basic and affordable menu for breakfast and lunch. If you are looking for the basics at good value, healthy size portions and friendly service than this is the place in Hockessin (which is an area with plenty of higher priced and fancier places to eat). I've sat down here at least a dozen times and placed about 100 to go orders. To go orders are always handled in an efficient, attentive and correct manner. My only caution would be that this is a small "classic" breakfast type diner with limited seating. They usually close around 3pm and seating can be tight on weekends. read more

I found Quinn's here on Yelp and loved it! My boyfriend and I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning at about 11am. It is a small spot so we waiting about 15 minutes, but not a big deal at all. Once we sat down our order was taken quickly and brought quickly. I got a BYO Omlet which was awesome!! My boyfriend got a Breakfast Burrito which was awesome as well! It is a very clean and organized establishment. They have a little bakery section where we ordered a Black and White cookie that was sooo good! This is a great spot for breakfast and lunch for sure!! For what is serves, the food is very good. The pancakes are delicious and I really like the turkey sausage links. The prices are very reasonable. The only thing I had here and did not like was what they call a belgian waffle. I would call it a small frozen style waffle. They could easily have a waffle iron and make a nice large waffle from scratch just like they make the delicious pancakes. And the hash browns (home fries) or whatever they call them are like thick, soft potato chips. They are ok, but I prefer just irregular cut up potatoes fried with onions instead. Most of the breakfast meals contain eggs, which I don't like. But they have a good selection of lunch sandwiches. They have a display case with someone else's disserts. They look good but I have never tried them. It is a fairly small restaurant and is always crowded. They open early and close after lunch. The staff is decent and always refills coffee usually before even asking for more. The place is always filled with old people, but it is very family friendly also. I should be giving them 5 stars, but it is only breakfast food and doesn't take much talent to make pancakes. And for the Belgian waffle they get only 4 stars but the food is really good for the price. read more

The service was fast and the people were nice. The cream chipped beef was salty as f@#k! Seriously, there's salt shakers on every table. Let the people decide. I was skeptical about the home fries. They look like homemade potato chips but they were damn good! The lady sitting across the isle from me got the best lookin waffles I've ever seen. Very nice tiny little breakfast place also does lotto and you are going to have to wait for a seat most days but is a good breakfast choice on Lancaster pike in Delaware. The sausage gravy and biscuits were good and my wife had the big breakfast which was indeed big. The whole lotto thing is strange but okay we saw two tables of men working on the horses and deciding their sports bets for the weekend so a little more color then your typical breakfast joint. read more

This place is really packed and tiny inside. I come here for basic breakfast fare, so for me it's usually a fried egg or two and home fries. It's the "home fries" that I write about. They are sliced like potatoes chips - no onions or peppers - no seasoning that I could detect. And they're not cooked thoroughly - they aren't soft. They're slightly cold. I couldn't eat them. They need to rethink the "home fries" - their's are undercooked potatoes chips sans salt. Maybe try the pancakes or something without potatoes. read more

Steak and eggs were excellent! Been here quite a few times and breakfast is always on point. Lots of regulars here but even if youre not a regular you are still guaranteed good service. I've eaten at Quinn's for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast veggie wrap is one of my favorites and the BLT for lunch is just right. I came here after a cafe style diner in my town was jam packed with a 20 minute wait-we didn't want to wait so we came here because my friend Quinn(ironic) really loves it. it was busy but only about a 5 minute wait to get a booth and the hosts/waiters are so kind. i got a pancake with strawberries and was very satisfied! good good pancake, and the food everyone around me got looked very yummy and i was excited to come back to try more. some people have a problem with the home fries because they're kind of like limp chips but personally i love them! no real complaints. 10/10 would recommend. i took a picture but forgot to save it so... sorry read more

We have eaten here several times and it is ok, good basic food. Occasionally the fried food tastes like the oils isn't changed frequently enough. The eggs and omelette was my favorite, I really don't like the homefries, they are plain and bland and oily. read more
