I'm "Jason"--the owner of Qwik Pack and the supposed "scumbag" according to this gentleman. So I feel the need to defend myself. I would simply like to respond to the person who left the 1 star review below----Graham G. Your mailbox was $350 for the year--but what you fail to realize is that it doesn't matter what type of mail you get---junk mail or packages that are super valuable---the cost for a mailbox is the same---it doesnt matter---if you were that concerned about the price--you should have made arrangements with a friend to pick up your mail--or have it forwarded somewhere else--$350 is the price---period! Next---If I missed an email about you needing to pick something up at the end of last year---I'm sorry--but it was December--and we were crazy busy--maybe you should have called during business hours--that may have helped--and if we were closed when you showed up--we close at 7 pm---obviously you came after we were closed. Now--when I got a call about sending your mail overseas--there was no mention of a specific package---but I did take the 5 pounds of mail out of your mailbox and send it to you. I wasn't aware that a co worker had also placed another 5 or so pounds of mail in a box on top of our mailboxes that was yours---didn't know that---had I, I would have sent it. As far as the price of sending junk mail overseas---it doesn't matter what it is---its the weight---you could be sending 5 pounds wood---it would still be the same. As for my customer service skills that you so disliked---you left a few key items out......when you have a problem and want answers, it might be best to maybe let the person to whom you are asking the questions answer them instead of catching major attitude and not letting them respond. Just a thought. I was ready to be super sweet----until you started flinging the F-Bomb at me---a few times----I love how you left that out of your review. I worked in the service industry for years and 1 thing I've learned is that if anyone cusses at me--especially in my own business----all bets are off. You don't get to insult me---and then go online and play the victim---not gonna happen. If you read the reviews left on here---99% of them are stellar---thats who we are---and when u act like an ass---thats how you get treated. Have a great day! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND WITHOUT ANY HESITATION. Unlike many people, I tend to only review when I have positive things to say about a business, which I believe is important because many just write about the bad ones, and that can be very damaging. My experiences at Qwik Pack and Ship have been always very positive, and it is nice to feel looked out for. Both Shaibel and Jason know me by name when I come in and always make sure to offer me the most effective and least expensive ways to ship. I have never been treated that way at FedEx nor UPS, so it keeps me coming back again and again, even when I am not near the store. Most recently sent a very heavy and fragile art piece gift thru them (that even the artist wouldn't ship for fear of breakage) and they took care of it for about a third less that I was quoted elsewhere. It arrived perfect and without a chip or scratch. I will only use them going forward and I hope they expand to other parts of Brooklyn with the same small shop family owned feel that Qwik Pack and Ship has. read more

hands down, the BEST shipping experience of all time! the qwik pack and ship "family" are so lovely to be around and treated me like family as well. i was moving to europe and while the move was overwhelming, ali, jason, and their team made me feel relaxed and assured my things would get to me - as quick and afforable as possible :) they even came to my house to help carry the boxes to the shop... this sort of kindness is rare (especially in nyc) and i am beyond grateful for ali and team. throughout the moving process, i ended up spending hours in their shop and i loved every minute. they are all such kind, warm-hearted, inviting, funny, sweet people and i will miss the qwik pack family! but when i move back to the city, i will 100% be calling ali for assistance moving back to town... thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help! i cant speak any higher of the team and would recommend qwik pack and ship over and over and over again!! sending much love from zurich to the qwik pack team :) !! read more

Exceptional Customer Service! Will recommend to anyone and everyone. This may sound dramatic, but it's 2020 - Qwik Pack and Ship is the only reason I survived my move. I can't say enough wonderful things about Ali and Jason. They went above and beyond to alleviate my stress by making sure all packing and shipping was taken care of efficiently. During a very emotional time having lost my job and home due to COVID, they showed up for me, were patient with me and gave me a beautiful reminder of why I love my neighborhood so much. I was just kicked out by the boss, Ali, because I had a problem with how expensive the shipping would cost. I've spent hundreds of dollars here over the last 6+ months, and he told me I'm no longer allowed to drop off or ship anything out of there, they tried to charge me $25 for a piece of bubble wrap and $175 to ship a package that usually costs at max $50 to ship. He was incredibly rude and entitled, and I've never been treated that badly in a place of business before, especially after being a loyal customer for a long time. Dumbfounded. read more

I highly recommend using Qwik's services. I was mailing a package through Qwik to Iceland that was stuck in customs. Since Iceland follows extremely strict regulations about such packages, we experienced a delay in the delivery. However, Qwik, took immediate action, emailing, faxing and sending any documents that were necessary to clear our package through customs. They constantly kept on updating us on the status from Fedex and from the customs. They are professional, fast and extremely reliable. read more
