They also explained how each one would affect my car's sound and performance, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the process. I showed up with my Porsche 718 Cayman and Soul Performance dual tip exhaust without getting lost because they made sure to inform me Google Maps will direct me straight to the shop since it is kind of tucked away in back. Great tip! The process took a little longer only because one pipe wasn't perfectly shaped and couldn't connect to Porsche's existing part, but R&K had the machine to alter it, and then it fit like a glove. This is why shops like these exist! I didn't take any photos at the shop but Kevin did post my car shortly afterward with my permission. I'll add some more on Yelp. A pipe in the Magnaflow aftermarket exhaust system of my Jeep disconnected a few days ago. You can see from the pic this should be a simple fix for any tech. Since I was due for service and a couple other items with the dealership, I took it there to get fixed. After having it for days and taking care of all the other service items, the techs at the dealer just couldn't fix it. It was just too much for them apparently and they suggested I go back to stock for roughly $1200 bucks. Well obviously no. (I suspect it has more to do with the fact that it's aftermarket and not stock and they just didn't want the responsibility. Which is fine, but say that, don't present it to me like it's some huge complicated issue.) So I drove over to R&K on a Friday afternoon to see if maybe I could schedule something for next week. They were working on a pickup already but were professional and polite enough to give me a few minutes of their time. Ronnie (I think) said "let me take a look real quick" and got under the Jeep. Less than 10 minutes later he fixed the problem with just a cordless impact tool and I drove home stress-free, and for almost no cost. 100% if any of the cars in the family have an exhaust/muffler/brake issue I'll be bringing them to R&K. Not only were they the cheapest, but they're just THE nicest guys. Really chill and unassuming with excellent customer service. I went because my car's exhaust had a sound almost like an old VW bug in addition to the way it should sound. At first Ricky and Kevin were unsure of what it may be but they asked me when it started and I figured out it was after I had my flex pipe repairsd at another shop. So I asked them to repair and they told me I would need a new flex pipe flange. The part ended up being a little difficult to get and took four days but tbey were both nice enough to keep my car at their shop as the downpipe was off and the car was undrivable. Once I got the part though they got it done fast and cheaper than originally quoted. Super nice guys and rhe car sounds amazing now. read more
