I've owned my Honda CR-V brand new since 2010. My A/C finally gave out. I called for a couple of quotes and researched expected prices for parts and labor. I decided to take it to Efrain and his team for a diagnostic and an oil change. Efrain was prompt in calling me back and thoroughly explained the issues. They performed a major A/C overhaul, and a month later, it is still blowing ice-cold. It gives me great peace of mind knowing the job was done right the first time and that they stand behind their work offering a 1-year warranty. They even took the time to show me the broken parts they removed, so I could see exactly what had failed. What really impressed me was their honesty and attention to detail. They noticed my rear brake light bulbs were out and replaced them for free. A couple of weeks later, I unfortunately broke my front headlight. Since they did such a great job with my a/c, I brought my car back for them to install new headlight assemblies that I provided; the labor was very fair, and they did a quick, professional job. They also took the time to fix my front bumper and buff out scratches that happened when I broke my headlight. Both times they serviced my car, the work was completed the same day faster than I had expected. As a result, the cost was lower than anticipated. Came here to get bunch of mechanical work done on my truck. Prices maybe we're OK, from what I could tell. But the person in charge, guy named Efrain, is very unprofessional. He told me to come down here and get my truck if I wasn't going to give him the go ahead and complete the work. So I came down here and now he's got me blocked in with another truck and told me he can't get my truck out till 5 PM which is an hour from now. They clearly could've put the other truck in neutral and rolled it out of the way, but he's just being petty, because I didn't agree opt to have them complete the work on my vehicle. read more

Brought my car here for a suspension issue. The dealership was going to charge me $2000 for the fix when I had already paid $200 for an diagnostic check. I told these guys the issue I was having and they told me they were going to 100% find the issue. I get a call later that day that they had found the problem and that my car was driving perfectly. They said all it was just a loose bolt on my strut that was causing the noise I was hearing. They saved me $2000 from the dealership scam. I can't thank them enough. My Chevrolet SUV was "bucking" at stops like it was going to stop, and there was a grinding noise coming out of the engine. I had originally taken it to Firestone , a block away as a long-time customer, and they said they would run a diagnostic and find out what the problem is. The result was that "there is nothing wrong with your car." I was appalled, and they added in a very condescending way that they simply could not fix anything, unless there was a light on first. I asked if they had driven it, "Oh, sure." You didn't feel the car shake? You didn't hear the noise? I felt confident they had never driven the car. So I took it 2 blocks away to King Harbor automotive mechanics, Smaller, MUCH friendlier, more personal and effective. The first thing the mechanic said, was "I want to get in the car with you, see what you see, and feel what you feel." We drove 1 block and he said, "oh, yeah, you've got problems / let's see how we can fix them." Within 5 hours they had replaced numerous parts, fixing definite ignition and engine problems and sending me home with a smooth running and safe machine by days end. The value they provided was exceptional. They are incredibly nice and good! I expected it to cost more and take twice the time. I'm sold. Sorry, Firestone, these guys get my vote. I went to see Pete and Efrain who gave me an honest price--got a good vibe from them. So, dropped off my 2015 Toyota Prius two for a second diagnostic(part of the repair price) and they confirmed it needed a new engine coolant pump. Worst place ever to take your car I simply had a battery issue but me being a girl they screwed me out of 100$ I was going though a lot at the time and just wanted a professional to change out the battery and be done with it! They completely screwed me out of 700$ for being dishonest about the initial cost and then threatened to call the police on me because I was crying and simply wanted to go home after being lied to about the price In which I could not afford. The guy was rude and had the audacity to tell me the part was "from a special place that customers can't buy from". First of all, I work for a remanufacturing company. There is no way in hell you're upselling a a remanufactured standard power steering pump for $300 over retail. Pro tip: A simple googling for parts and labor, or even look at freaking AutoZone's website, will give you an idea of what repairs should cost.
