My coworker recommended R&M when I was considering purchasing a used Honda CRV for my son. I took the car in for an inspection prior to purchase. They performed the inspection for free and gave me a quote to replace the brakes, battery, and tires. They also went over the car with me and explained it was a good option for the intended use. I had them replace the brakes and battery. The charge for the battery was less than the cost of a battery at Autozone. Work was done in less than a day and total cost was below the initial quote. Almost every dealership or mechanic I have worked with in the past has tried to rip me off when it comes to repairing my cars, but not these guys. They never try to upsell. They will tell you what is wrong, give you a fair price, and sometimes TRY TO TALK YOU OUT OF THE REPAIR. No, I'm not kidding. I had a check engine light on an older vehicle that was going to require expensive repairs and they said it wasn't going to affect the drivability or safety of the vehicle, and it were them, they would just live with it. I needed the alternator in my Toyota replaced quickly. Mike gave me a quote over the phone on a Thursday at 4:30. I dropped it off after hours that day. They did the work and had the car ready by 1 pm the following day. They didn't try to talk me into any other services and stuck to the quote I received over the phone. He did give me a heads up that my tires would need to be replaced soon. Very friendly and professional and they were a hundred dollars cheaper than another place I called.
