(be careful, you will miss the narrow driveway...) Once there... Greg will contact you... describe the procedure... and take the keys and your vehicle into his shop... You (hopefully) have a friend/significant other to drive another vehicle to wait nearly two hours while this gentleman does his artwork... Outside his business, one can see a smoke-belching chimney on a cold wintry day... inside the workplace, I can imagine a blazing pot-belly stove creating interior balmy temperatures... There, an endless supply of freshly-made buttermilk flapjacks are being slung onto stately and shiny glass plates... completely drenched in maple syrup (from Vermont!), feeding his hungry customers... while they wait for their vehicles... (Not...) Mr Kelley is professional, thorough, warm, down-to-earth and pleasant to speak with... He details exactly what his work entails... what materials he utilizes... His work is top notch... his prices are more than fair... (He was recommended by the Vermont Quick Lube people in Barre)... It is easy to see why... both of these businesses exude "service with a smile"... Back to G K Auto Detailing... Greg completely undercoated my two vehicles with a protective surface against loose road salt and other contaminants... I want my vehicles to last quite a while... This will now be a yearly renewal process... and Mr Kelley will be tasked to do precisely this... Additionally, in just several short weeks, I will employ Greg with detailing the exterior and interior of my vehicles... I want his attention and expert energies directed exclusively to my vehicles... I must say the following: He is not a detailer... He is an artist... I bought a Subaru Forester from them that was presented as being in solid condition, with no rust. Within a few months, it failed inspection due to significant frame rust. This wasn't minor wear, it was serious enough to fail state inspection, which makes me question how honest they were being at the time of sale. I ended up taking a huge loss on the purchase. Beyond the condition of the car, the buying experience itself was unpleasant. I felt talked down to and patronized throughout the process. The salesperson, who may have been the owner, also made unsolicited pro-MAGA political comments that made the environment even more uncomfortable and unprofessional. Looking back, I regret not trusting my instincts and walking away. I would strongly encourage others, especially women and people of color, to be cautious and consider taking their business elsewhere.

The day of the service provided a faster turnaround than I had expected; they had my Tacoma on the lift quickly, the mechanic made sure to communicate during and after the service of the progress and findings, and the overall end costs were well below what I was anticipating. They ordered the snow tires immediately and installed them Saturday morning. While installing the new tires they noticed I had 2 all season tires that needed to be trashed. They placed the remaining 2 tires in plastic bags and put them in my trunk - what a thoughtful thing to do! They also replaced a stripped lug nut, which could have been a real problem in the future. I wasn't sure what time I could pick up the car on Saturday and they offered to meet me on a Sunday (they are closed on Sundays) if that could make it easier for me. As an out of towner, I was treated like a local...amazing service and they were priced very competitively with ANY other tire place I checked. I wish I could give them 6 stars....thank you so much!!

I made a light, offhand comment about it being a little unusual, but I was clear that it wasn't a problem--I immediately paid in full and left a generous tip. Later that day, the owner called me and spoke to me in a very aggressive and hostile manner, questioning whether I had an issue with how he runs his business. The tone of the call felt confrontational and unprofessional, and it left me feeling uneasy and very shaken. Regardless of any misunderstanding, I don't believe that kind of reaction toward a customer is appropriate. Because of that interaction, I would not feel comfortable returning.

Mid-wash I heard a scraping/scuffing sound and was immediately concerned. When I pulled out I got out of my car right away to see if there was damage to my car. And there was. I immediately pulled around to tell someone and was told it was "impossible" but in the same sentence she said it happens to "larger vehicles like pickups". She told me that "they didn't hear anything" despite the fact that car washes are clearly not quiet. I was not on the phone or listening to anything. I requested that someone contact me right away to discuss repair, as I can say with certainty that the door pillar right in front of my face every time I open the door was not severely scratched before this wash. A review of their cameras should show my I scratched vehicle entering, and my damaged vehicle exiting. I await their response, and will update this review as it unfolds. UPDATE: I received a call today from the owner, who flatly told me that it was "not his wash" and that he didn't know what to tell me. I told him about the noise, and that I was certain, and he told me "I don't know what to tell you. my car wash doesn't scratch cars." I then asked about the cameras that were supposedly there, and he told me there was one camera at the entrance, but that it isn't even clear enough to differentiate between the window and the pillar. I asked him about the cameras that the attendant said were in the wash which she said would be used "to confirm that nothing touched the car" and was told there is one camera, but that it is only clear enough to differentiate a car from truck, and nothing else. Incidentally, I went to the body shop for a quote this morning, and told the employee that the damage had happened in a car wash. They informed me that another customer had just had the same scenario (but for them, the paint) and that it had happened in the same wash. I found this to be quite telling because the owner had just finished bragging that another car owner had filed a claim, but that he had never paid one. The owner of this wash may respond to reviews online, but in actuality couldn't care less about damage because as he said... I can't prove it. Car owners beware.
