We took my car to R&S Auto Care 10 months ago to install caliper covers. We were WAY overcharged for 1 hour of work. Now two of the caliper covers have fallen off my brakes. I went in and asked if they would please put another caliper cover on to replace the one that had fallen off and they said they would charge me again for 1/4 of the price I had originally paid. The original price should have been 1/4 of what I paid to begin with. I should have done my research before bringing my car in to know I was being overcharged in the first place, that was my bad. They would not stand behind their work and would not help me replace what fell off. I will NEVER go here again and I recommend highly that you get estimates first before coming here. :( read more

I used to have my uncle work on my car before he died so I was a bit reluctant to venture off and put the care of my car into the hands of another person but coming here was nothing short of a great experience ! I thought I needed a new battery but the owner explained that I actually didn't need one at all , he saved me a lot of money. I came in thinking I needed to do more than just an oil change and left getting only an oil change. Although it's a bit more than other shops, you get what you pay for! I rather invest in what I know will be best for me in the long run. His products that he uses and recommends are great, I preferably allowed him to choose what products he thought was best for my car (as I need brake pads later this week) but if u needed to get cheaper products then he is willing to work a bit with u on that. I contacted this shop 24 hours prior for a quote on a Heater Core for my Camry. 24 hours later I brought/dragged my 2011 Toyota Camry to this shop because my power steering was acting up. My power steering issued was solved the next day and was cheaper to fix than I originally planned. I thought I would be around $1500 but this shop quoted me around $350. I was told that I had a hole in the hose that leaves the power steering reservoir and that pervious mechanics must have been messing with it because it was laying against the engine. Not only did they fix this issue, but I had a part that connected to my a/c fan unit that was not in its right place. I asked if they could take a look at it. They did and fixed a previous mechanic(the military ones from North Island Navy Base in San Diego, CA) screw ups and didn't charge me(even though I wanted to compensate them). Needless to say, I was very impressed and thankful. I will for sure bring my vehicle back to let them install the Heating Core that I still need to get taken care of. Kurosh is a Solid honest mechanic. He does the oil changes and general maintenance on my girlfirend's honda civic. He's always timely and the job is done right. I next took him my 98 pontiac trans am that I knew had some smog issues and the check engine light was on. I drive that car hard! He diagnosed everything wrong with the smog stuff and not only gave me an honest estimate of the cost, but gave me a realistic assessment of other things that needed to possibly be fixed after the initial smog stuff so that the light would be turned off and the car would pass smog. Cylinder 4 and 5 were misfiring. He gave me the option to decide what I wanted to do instead of making money off me and then telling me even more things that needed to be fixed thus leading me down a money pit. I felt in control of the situation and I appreciate that from a mechanic. He documented all the things needed to be done. He's just a straight shooter and that is hard to find these days. read more

I go to Kourosh of R&S Auto Car over the past 10 years. I brought multiple import cars during this time: mercedez benz 250i, ML350, Lexus RX350, bmw 528i, bmw 530i, x5, and 750i. I had several dozen of services done at this place, ranging from oil change, break service including rotors and sensor replacement, spark plugs replacement, engine service, and many other services. Other than tire-related services (they do not have equipment), he quickly diagnoses the car problem, giving your consultation over the phone or quotation, and upon your approval, he would do the replacement or repair. He does it consistently every time with integrity, excellence and honesty. I used to live in Irvine and was easy to get his service. But, now, I moved to fullerton. But, I still go there and have hime do the work as I trust him more than any other place. To be honest, I went to other places for couple of times for services because something happened to my car in Los Angeles and I was not able to drive to him.
