went here to watch the Illinois game while in AZ…read more food was solid and drinks were tasty. I got the Cajun pasta (comes with chicken and sausage). great flavor and portion size. wouldn't have minded a little more Cajun spice though. dirty martini was on point. just the right amount of brine and went down smooth. 30+ TVs, so you'll be able to see one no matter where you sit. outside TVs could be set a little brighter to be better visible in bright sun. service was fast and accurate with a smile. will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

If you're looking for a mediocre place to catch a game with friends, this spot has that covered…read more There are TVs everywhere, making it a great place to watch sports. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. If you're coming for the food or the service, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. We came in as a party of five a little after 9:00 PM and were told the kitchen closed at 10:00 PM. No problemo, we were ready to order right away. Instead, our server didn't return to take our order until around 9:20PM, despite nearby tables continuing to receive service. That was the first sign things weren't going well. I ordered the carne asada nachos specifically because the menu advertised them with queso instead of shredded cheese. I even mentioned to my group that was the reason I was ordering them. I also added a side of sweet potato waffle fries. About 25 minutes after we had already placed our order, the server came back and asked if I'd like a different meat. Like of course I don't want a different meat that's why I ordered carne asada. The server didn't say that they were out of carne asada, but I read between the lines and opted for ground beef cause really the queso is what makes the nachos. Also, I couldn't help wondering why it took 25 minutes to find that out. Then the food arrived. My nachos immediately looked different than expected. Instead of queso, they were covered with shredded cheese. Nothing was mentioned about being out of queso. I notice there was none. When I asked about it, the server casually said, "Oh yeah, we're out of queso too." Wait...what? So the restaurant was out of both the carne asada and the queso. The two main ingredients that made me order the dish in the first place. No one cared to mentioned either of those things when taking my order OR when coming back and asking if I wanted a different meat didn't also mention they were out of queso. Had I known, I would have ordered something completely different from the start. To the server's credit, she did let me order something else. Sucks for the kitchen because they were already closed. I ended up getting the sliders, but they were just as underwhelming as everything else. The food overall tasted like frozen products that had simply been reheated. Nothing tasted fresh, especially considering the prices. The biggest issue wasn't just the mediocre food, it was the lack of communication and straight lie when placing my food in front of me. If items are unavailable, tell customers before they order or at least when placing their food down, not after they've waited half an hour and not saying anything at all. Between the disappointing service, poor communication, and unforgettable food for all the wrong reasons, this place completely lost my trust. I'd honestly rather spend half the money at IHOP, where the food is more consistent and I'd know what to expect.

Several other people that came in commented the same thing. It seems like the staff were not allowed to adjust the thermostat, which was strange. We had to leave quicker than intended because we were literally dripping sweat and were too uncomfortable to stay. Not only was it hot, but there are no fans to move the air, so the air was hot and still. If you plan to go here during the summer, I recommend taking your food to go. Would not recommend dining in during the summer. But would highly recommend the food.

Both of the items were pretty good. My on issue is that I had hoped the hot dogs would be bigger. I'd rather have a bigger dog with less toppings vs more toppings and less dog. I understand Thad's how they're made here though and I respect that. The spicy fries are similar to Cajun fries from other places but these have more of a kick. I liked them a lot and how they were not too crispy. I can see myself coming back to try other items from the menu next time.

Update: After my original review, the restaurant reached out to apologize for our experience. We decided to give them another chance, and I'm glad we did. Our return visit was completely different. The service was excellent, and we had the pleasure of meeting the Ashley Cook, General Manager and the owner. They made us feel genuinely welcome. Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! New food menu tomorrow too?! What?! I was almost tempted to back today to get more of their amazing dishes from the main menu!! Thank you Cat for the amazing hospitality! Being able to seat yourself when you arrive was great. We came in shortly before 5 p.m., a little before the dinner rush, so there was no wait at all. My fiancé and I arrived a little earlier than the rest of our group and were immediately helped by our server. She was incredibly attentive and checked on us often without ever making us feel rushed. Everyone ordered something different, but I made sure to try a little bit from everybody's plate. Maybe I was just especially hungry, but when my Fire Starter burger came out, I thought it looked absolutely beautiful. My fiancé got the wings with a side of fries, my mother got the Birria Quesadilla, and my sister ordered the fish and chips. The burger tasted just as good as it looked, and everything else I tried was great as well. It was the kind of meal where everyone at the table was happy with what they ordered. There are also plenty of TVs throughout the dining area for anyone interested in watching something while they eat, which fits the pub atmosphere really well. And the service really stood out to me. When we were leaving, our server noticed us from across the dining room and called out goodbye and that she hoped to see us again. That little interaction genuinely made me feel like she meant it rather than it just being something she had to say. My fiancé and I both really enjoy pub-style food, so after tonight's meal and the great service we received, I can definitely see us coming back. In fact, I'm already plotting what I'm going to order next time.

Outstanding cheese curds were super light and crispy and the pull was outstanding. Great beer menu and even included lots of No Alcohol choices. AZ hash was delicious but a warning, the Fresno Red Chilies are very spicy, the French Toast with brisket, bacon, egg and cheese was very good and the shrimp and grits with pork in chorizo gravy also were very good. My son had to have dessert so the splurge for the Guinness double chocolate brownie with mint ice cream and whipped cream was a great treat. On Sundays, they feature a brunch menu only from 9am-2pm. We finished up around 2pm so my son could order a Meatloaf Sandwich with smoked meatloaf, ricotta, blackberry bbq sauce, arugula, tomato, onion strings, sesame bun for his lunch.
