Real convenient to the Marriott. The service was 5 star, Noelle was excellent. She provided fast, friendly and professional service. Real extensive drink menu. I went with the spicy margarita. It was great with a nice amount of spice. Great balance of the heat and sweet. Appetizers were the roasted cauliflower and southwest spring rolls. The cauliflower was pretty good, it really could have used more roasting vs steaming. It felt steamed and char/crunch really would have been good. Also think. a little olive oil and parmesan would have been perfect. The southwest spring rolls were really good. Noelle recommended the short rib. She was on, the short rib was really good and the goat cheese style risotto was really good as a base. The service was great throughout, Noelle was amazing and the other servers had her back as they cleaned the tables and made sure they took care of anything else we needed. Huge open space and great place to hang out and watch sports on any of their TVs. Good spot better service.

First of all, kudos to our waitress Briane! She was absolutely amazing with my party of 15 to celebrate my nieces 22nd birthday. I'm literally sitting in the parking lot writing this review. This was our first time here and from the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted and Briane got our table ready for us. This is a beautiful place to come chill out and have some delicious food and drinks. Now onto the food that was ordered... Mostly everyone ordered the Chicken & Waffles- some plain, some with the hot honey and let me tell you I tasted a piece of the waffle, and it was pretty tasty and fluffy. My daughter and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs which was very well seasoned and very good and my sister ordered the Parlay Veggie Omelet! Some of the drinks ordered were the Charcuterie House Bloody Mary, Blackberry Lime Margarita, Lei'd in the Desert and a Parlay Poloma, all of which were really good and the presentation was outstanding! I'm already planning to return with my husband in a few days because I loved it so much. I highly recommend!

Went here with my mom for dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant was fairly busy, with a mix of small and medium-sized parties, which made it feel lively for a weekday. I ordered the Caesar salad with steak added and my mom had the fish and chips. The fish had a perfectly crunchy exterior with a tender, flaky inside. My salad was fresh, though the steak was a bit chewier than I expected. Service started off a bit slow. We waited a few minutes to be acknowledged after walking in, despite a few employees passing by, and then another short wait before being seated. I asked for filtered water, and it took over 10 minutes (and a reminder) before it arrived. The manager later mentioned they were understaffed that evening, which explained the empty tables and longer wait times for food. That said, our waitress was friendly, poised, and attentive once she got to us. She handled everything professionally and was quick to check us out when we were ready to leave. She also kindly comped the filtered water due to the delay, which we appreciated. Overall, while the staffing challenges were noticeable, the food had some highlights and the service recovery effort was appreciated.

At least once a month, we get together with our family and pick a new spot to have brunch. This time, we chose the Parlay Kitchen in Chandler. As soon as we walked in, I fell in love with the decor. It looked really nice and had a pretty chill vibe. They even have two different bar areas, which I thought was kind of cool. Their brunch menu had tons of different items to choose from. We ended up getting the French toast and the biscuits and gravy. Both were really good! I was excited that they had an espresso martini because I'm always on the search for the best one! I'm happy to report that this one was pretty tasty! The only thing that was a bit of a bummer is that it was pretty loud inside, so with our party being 6 people, it was difficult to hear each other. Other than that, we really enjoyed it.

My friends and I went here for my birthday dinner, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. We were in a semi private area closer to the patio. The lighting was dimmed, but bright enough to where we could see faces, but not blinding us, lol, which is perfect. The waiting staff was very attentive. Returning frequently to refresh waters and take orders for beverages, nonalcoholic, as well as alcoholic. The food was hot and fresh and the flavors were exquisite. My friends and I all raved about the flavors of the food. I specifically had the steak Gorgonzola, which was out of this world! Slight bit of sweet steak, exceedingly tender. Noodles cooked perfectly with a little flex of spice at the end with the sauce. As I am allergic to oranges, I was very pleased that they offer the flowered old-fashioned as an alternative to the original old-fashioned because I love the mix of an old-fashioned. All in all it was a wonderful birthday dinner. But be warned, if you're looking for a a place that offers elegance and good vibes. This is it. But it can be pricey both on drinks as well as food. But trust me, you'll get your moneys worth. 10 out of 10 recommend.

The food was fantastic. They have a great mimosa and cocktail selection. Unfortunately, they do not have a coffee selection other than drip with half and half. Our waitress Kelsi was very attentive and I would definitely go back for the chicken and waffles. The chicken needs to come in an order by itself it was so good!

We went here to see if it could be used for our daughter's upcoming wedding rehearsal dinner. The venue is open and airy but loud. The staff were quick to greet and seat us. The drink orders were taken and served fast. It was dark enough to make reading the menus difficult. After that...nothing was right with the service. It took over 15 minutes to get our orders taken. The table next to us was seated at that time. They received their food 15 minutes before we did! Total time from arrival to food service was 55 minutes. As for the food, it was overall pretty good. The green beans were over-cooked. My Apple Bourbon Pork Chops and pumpkin puree were nicely done and seasoned just right. The rest of the group said that the food was decent. Nothing bad, just not quite up to 5 stars. If it wasn't for the service, it might have made the cut, but after we left, the vote was 100% against this place for our future wedding plans.

I made reservations for two on a Wednesday night, and I'm glad I did--when we arrived, the restaurant was packed, with a line of people waiting to be seated. We were taken right in and seated near the bar by the back patio. The ambiance was vibrant, energetic, and fun. Our server was Leo, who was also bartending and clearly overwhelmed. He tried to offer us an appetizer while we waited, but unfortunately, he never brought it. Our entrées didn't arrive until about 60 minutes after we ordered, and we were definitely headed into "hangry" territory. Just as we were about to give up and leave, the food finally came out--hot, fresh, and very tasty. I ordered the wings and my friend had the blackened-white fish, both of which were delicious. When Leo checked in, we let him know that while we enjoyed the food, the long delay was disappointing. He explained that several large parties had backed up the kitchen; something we would've appreciated knowing from the start of the long night. If it weren't for the long wait, the forgotten appetizer, and the overcrowded dining room, this review would have been much higher. POV- * Definitely make a reservation. * The parking lot is small--if it's busy, expect to park in the overflow lot across the street. Overall, we still enjoyed our night out and the food was great once it arrived.

    Crème brûlée French Toast
    Diele K.

My friend has been raving about this place for months, and when we wanted to do brunch we knew just where to go when I saw they had crème brûlée French toast! Upon entering, I can see why people rave about this location as it is both beautiful and spacious. They were fairly calm for brunch on a Sunday before noon, and think it may be more of a lunch or dinner destination. Though, I greatly appreciated the calm as Sunday brunch can be hectic at other places. All of the staff were extremely friendly, and very attentive to refills. Loved the added touch of asking if I wanted salt or tajin on the rim of the Bloody Mary. When I said surprise me, they did both - loved it! The French Toast was the star of the meal for us, and I definitely see returning soon! Likely get a different entree as I wasn't a fan of their hollandaise, but it was still a very delicious brunch!

I finally made it in person for dinner. This place is pretty cool. The ambiance is nice. The vibe is good. Our table ordered southwest eggrolls and spinach dip. Both were fantastic! I ordered steak gorgonzola for dinner as that was the dish of the three our server said she liked best. I however was not a fan. It was pasta with a chipotle cream sauce, steak bites, diced tomatoes, gorgonzola and balsamic glaze drizzle. In my opinion the sauce was too spicy. Its my own fault for ordering it knowing I am a wimp with spicey food. Everything else about the dish however was really good.

Parlay Kitchen has a bunch of TVs which makes it a good place to watch a game. The environment is fun, the service is great, the food is good. I ordered the chicken pesto wrap with fries. Good place to hangout and grab food.

Fish & chips. Closeup of the burned bits everywhere on food!

I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

We came in Saturday afternoon to a small lobby area where a gal was already waiting to be sat and when the third group walked in that lobby got even smaller. We waited for about 5 minutes for the hostess who came off cold and unbothered in leaving customers waiting as the other team members took notice of the filling lobby with no one checking in to let us know we'd be assisted soon. The hostess proceeded to tell us she'd be seating us outside, no offer of sitting inside at all and not once did she acknowledge her absence or offer any sort of greeting, not even a smile. When you're the first person the customer interacts with at business I feel it good practice to create a welcoming atmosphere that represents the space you're entering. Especially a place like this that is known for a fun, lively atmosphere. We were sat outside and our waitress was very sweet and got us taken care of with water, food, and drinks pretty quickly. It was a lot cooler than expected on the patio which was awesome, as I was worried about sitting outside when it was 104. Great job with that Mexicano! But once we got our food our waitress stopped by to check in once and we didn't really see her until the end of our meal after that. No refills on water or check-in to see if we wanted additional drinks (which I feel like happened the last time we were in as well). There's a gentleman with a tiger tattoo on the back of his neck who stops in at some people's tables to check in and have chat, he's never stopped in with us.. it all just seems like the customer isn't a priority at this restaurant. The food is delicious, the drinks are great but for the prices, I want to feel more valued. I want to have that fun experience of going out for drinks in a vibrant high-end cantina where you feel connected with the staff. We'll go back but I would really love to see a more engaged customer support team.

Marie has been helping us for the last couple years that I have been coming here for a long weekend…read moretrip and year after year she is still just as friendly as before and always remembers us! This bar is located inside the Crown Plaza hotel in downtown Chandler. We visited it a few times for a late night drink or before we head out for the night. One night we did order the nachos which were super good I would order them again or be interested in ordering other items on the menu. The whole staff is super attentive and the lobby is typically a quieter area to enjoy a drink and apps or even a full meal. See you next year 1912!

Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! New food menu tomorrow too?! What?! I was almost tempted to back today to get more of their amazing dishes from the main menu!! Thank you Cat for the amazing hospitality! I learned so much about Gaea in one afternoon too :D Love it. To update about the food I tried but some of you may not get to try since they're changing it up :P *Tiger Shrimp - DIVINE - JUICY ZUCCHINI STUFFED WITH CURRY THAT MAKES YOUR ENTIRE MOUTH WATER JUST THINKING ABOUT IT ONCE ITS EVER TOUCHED YOUR TONGUE - the prawns are BIGGER THAN YOUR MIDDLE FINGER *Thai Salad - zesty spicy, VERY filling and made in lettuce cups, so very much not your typical salad but very tasty *steak skewers - much more like the juiciest steak I've literally ever had on a skewer - LITERALLY...but not because it's fat, just because they somehow made this steak completely juicified - don't ask me how - ask Cat *Mole Chicken Skewers - My favorite...you should just try it.

Sat at the bar where service was good, drinks were expertly prepared and really enjoyed the dessert! Food looked great as well, I really wish we had eaten here instead of wasting money at the other place.

It can get pretty busy, so be sure to plan accordingly. I also stopped by the bakery section and had the pleasure of meeting Siya. It must be the same interior designer because even though the restaurants are so different, they have a similar feel, and I like it! The enormous wine bottle light fixtures are pretty cool. We ordered the Saganaki to start, which is delish. I love the flavor of the lemon they use to put out the fire. Can you ever go wrong with delicious melted cheese? Hubby ordered rigatoni with Bolognese and steak meatballs. I didn't taste it, but he really liked it. My son ordered Caccio e Pepe pappardelle. I tasted it and it was very yummy. I had the meatball ferris wheel which is literally a little ferris wheel with little bowls with a different kind of meatball in each. The Ferris wheel ended up just making it harder to eat, but I do think the novelty of it is cute. That said, I was super disappointed. I liked the steak meatball pretty well and the arabbiata was yummy, but the rest were mediocre for me. I love meatballs but, honestly, I've had meatballs that I like better elsewhere. My bread was also over-toasted, making it kind of like a hard crumbly rock. Our server was very nice and quite friendly, but both my husband and I noticed that she actually boxed the food at the two tables near us for those people, but for us, just just dropped off boxes and a bag at our table and left us to do it ourselves. I don't mind doing it myself, but what made us different from the other tables? All in all it was good. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked and sooo good and the Saganaki was also delish. The meatballs, not so much for me.
