What a fun place! I had no idea this concept even existed where you can rent a pool table by the hour and escape the Arizona heat while playing inside. They offer different sizes of tables too--bar size and tournament size--so you can choose what package and style you want to play. There's also a darts section on the other side of the space with both classic dart boards and electronic ones where you can choose different games. The bartenders were hilarious and made my slightly bougie request for wine fun by presenting it like a high-end cocktail--served right on the arm--which was honestly a great touch. First time going to a pool hall / bar like this. Honestly, the experience was not what I was looking for, but that doesn't necessarily make it an undesirable spot. It's very dark inside & not exactly ideal for a sit down and dine situation. We had to leave a credit card with the bartender when we arrived & could not have it back until it was time to leave (makes sense though). The food was ok. There were quite a few options. Mainly pizza and wings & other typical bar foods. The bone in wings were awesome. The server was alright, not very attentive. There's nowhere great to sit and eat. Tables line the walls, so you pretty much have to sit and face the wall. I wasn't a fan of that. The worst part, there's no lighting near the tables, so you have to eat in the dark. I don't like that. I prefer to have an abundance of lighting when I'm eating. All in all - the place was fine, just not my type of vibe. It's very busy, so apparently it's popular in the community. We got there and it was a 15 min wait, which is fine because we got a drink and went to the bathroom while we waited. Once you get to the table, they have waitresses that come by and get your drink order, which is nice because you don't have to leave your game to go to the bar. One of the only places in AZ where you can still smoke inside- crazy. Plenty of pool tables and a few dart boards to keep you entertained. Very solid spot for folks looking to shoot serious pool or just shoot around. Plenty of nice tables with a variety of diamonds in the bar box to 9 foot sizes. All in good condition. Beer selection was solid as they had a milk stout, which I am fond of. I would rank Main Street over jesters for pool but jesters over Main Street for beer selection. Both are 5 star for me and I wouldn't think a serious pool player would be unhappy with either - for me the deciding factor would probably be which I am staying closer to. Server at the bar was unfriendly and uninviting when we mentioned it was our first time in. She seemed very annoyed throughout the whole interaction. $14 for an hour of pool was not worth it, most nearby bars only charge half of that for an hour of pool. My husband and I have been here many times usually on a Friday or Saturday night. We went on a Sunday night this time and they were a bit understaffed which was fine but usually they play all kinds of music which was we are cool with but once they started playing "rape me" By nirvana and then the heavy metal nonstop screaming type of music my husband and me and our friend could not stand it any longer. Not sure if that's the new norm since we haven't been here in a While but it was hard to enjoy ourselves. Just wanted to share in case this was just an off night. One of our favorite pool halls! They have a smoking and non smoking side, non smoker lol. I'm so sad my honey switched leagues and now we are at a new pool hall that I really just don't enjoy! Guess you don't know what you have til it's gone! We absolutely LOVED jester's... Cheap drinks, service is usually pretty quick but sometimes especially on pool league nights (Th) it does get busy so sometimes you may be waiting a while, but the girls bust their butts and are always so friendly and working hard. This place was fantastic! What a blast! They have a huge row of dartboards, some electronic and some steel tip. They have tons of pool tables in various sizes. They have a full bar with literally hundreds of beers and other drinks. The staff was very friendly. The guy at the door, at the cash register, was awesome, super friendly, great customer service, held a pool table for us while we threw some darts and had a few drinks. He was totally approachable, easy-going and awesome. The prices were great on drinks and pool. The music is loud and fun and with the incredibly diverse clientele, you never really know what's going to be pumping out of the speakers, but it's all good because it's a jukebox and with a wide variety of tastes controlling it, your sure to have a wide variety of music. It's super cool that they have a smoking and a non-smoking side so those of us who don't want to breathe four packs of secondhand smoke can enjoy ourselves without a preemptive appointment to the oncologist :-) Overall, this place was fantastic, the guys and I had a total blast and we can't wait to go back. read more

I use to come here all the time but last night was a horrible experience. We were trying to play pool and every once in awhile we would ask to people standing around to move if they were in the way. Normally that is never an issue but we were having fun and joking with everyone around us but this mother/daughter duo refused to get off our pool table. They said we were only allowed to use one side of the pool table because if we were good, we wouldn't ever need to be on the side that they were leaning on. We tried to play around them but then finally we asked if they could just please move so we can just make one shot. The mom started calling us b***, hoe, told us to go outside so she could fight us. The mother said she was watching since we got there and we did not belong there and we're lucky they even let us play pool for as long as we did (we only played for 20 minutes). We are trying to just ignore her and not say anything because we are shocked and mortified that the whole bar is watching this old lady yell at us. Then the drunk server named Shana or something literally stumbles and into our conversation she said the regulars have more right to be there then we do and her friends can lean on the tables all they want. We asked if she was drunk or on drugs because her speech is slurred and she loses her mind. At that point, we just grabbed our stuff and headed to the bar so we could grab our cards and leave. The same drunk server ran behind the bar and falls and when she gets up she starts screaming that we are 86'd and the entire staff had to hold her back and put her in the kitchen because she was hysterically crying, screaming and kicking. I have never seen a staff member act like that in my entire life. I signed for my check for one pint (which I didn't even get to drink) and I checked my account today and I have a $21 and a $35 charge. Great. I'm going to pray for the drunk server because I think she might have serious mental issues and I hope that she gets the help that she needs. read more

I love Jesters, it's a giant pool hall with an indoor smoking room. As a smoker this is something I love but I would warn nonsmokers that it can get a bit musky in the main pool hall. They also allow vape pens, which people take massive advantage of. They offer many pool tables, ranging from 7 foot to 9 foot and both electric and classic dart boards. They have a punching bag, a few arcade games, pinball, and foosball. Along with many tables to sit at though they could feel a bit cramped if you're with a large group. They offer food until 11pm most nights, provided by the pizza place next door which is very good. They have a large drink selection and a full bar. And even offer different deals depending on the day. They have a pool and dart league almost every night of the week (Monday through Thursday) and after 18 weeks you get to pick at a que from Viking or Mcdermont (two very good brands) that you can customize. Tuesday night is ladies night so tables are free, its also half off ciders and wheat beers until 11pm so its a great way to celebrate ladies night. And theres a jukebox full of different music to jam to. Plenty of parking and great for large groups, I would (and do) suggest Jesters to anyone who likes pool. You can even win a few bucks playing the sharks on the quarter tables (though good luck!) The only reason they dont have five stars is that the service can be a bit spotty. Sometimes its great and feels like every 15 minutes you're being asked if you want anything, other times you'll see the waitress once in 2 hours. Has nothing to do with how busy the bar is or whats going on at the time, just depends on who is working that day. read more

Keep in mind, this is a pool hall. It isn't an upscale place, and it's pretty divey. I'm not a pro pool or darts player, so I can't speak to the quality of the tables, but I love this bar! There are several leagues who play are, so I assume quality is good? What impresses me most are two things: One, the beer selection here is ridiculous. Honestly, it rivals a lot of tap houses! TONS of very hard to find beers, plus a full bar. Cheers! Also, their service is actually really friendly and efficient. We had no idea what we were doing with the hourly versus flat rate table fees, and it turns out we made the wrong choice. When we went to check out, the server caught it and changed it for us. What cost $18 was going to be well over $40! Thank you, angel at the register. As far as food, they have a unique setup. Jesters is teamed up with Rino D's next door, so when you order pizza and wings, they're coming from there (and yummy!). Me and my group of friends came to this bar to have a shot, and we are all of African-American. When we came in there the first thing that they told us was they were about to close and it was an hour until closing. This place is racist af. Before I left a pretty harsh review. I try to be fair so here it is. While I pointed out the poor selection on tap, I wasn't aware they are limited on space etc...the owner Mr. Chester, responded to my previous review. That goes a long way with me. I have ran businesses in the past and unfortunately at times your hands are tied. To be fair, I didnt take this into account.
