A last minute choice for dinner; we've been many times and always enjoy a great meal and service and this time was no different. We came around 4:30ish on a Saturday and was surprised they weren't busier but happy too because we were sat towards the back and it wasn't so crazy loud as sometimes it can get here. Wife had the lemonade and I had a bottle of Pellegrino to drink and we started with both their Caesar salad and their most yummy artichoke dip. It comes with some fresh, thin tortilla chips and we love this creamy, flavorful dip. The salad was fresh with some croutons and their creamy Caesar dressing. We decided to split the Fried Chicken Dinner, which comes with smashed potatoes (yes, real potatoes with chunks and skin included) and some gravy, which I didn't care for but wife loved it! I love their fried chicken...it's boneless and the outer crust is just a perfect blend of seasonings and breading to keep the chicken inside nice and moist. The dish comes with a small cup of their house slaw, which is creamy and savory. Overall another great meal at our local Hop Social!

I really like this place to hang out and eat with friends and family. Food is good. I've ordered: Wagyu burger 4.5/5 Chicken Marsala 4.7/5 Spinach artichoke dip 4/5 Calamari 4.5 Our servers have always been accessible and polite. Never had any issues since we've been there The only thing I would like to see is more unique craft beers there. I would suggest this place.

Went here for a random date night with friends on a Sunday evening. We were seated immediately and our server was friendly and accommodating with our friend's dairy allergy. She was able to get a burger that was tasty, so she was ecstatic. I got the entree from their seasonal menu which was the wagyu & Italian sausage bolognese. It was delicious. My husband for the Wagyu burger and was not disappointed. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. We are already planning to come back this week from his dad's birthday!

Ahi Poke Bowl, we shared so this is a half size.

Wow, wish I had tried this place years ago! We loved the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Ahi Poke Bowl, the Spinach Artichoke dish was yummy as well. The fondue cheese for the pretzel was out of this world! Our server was wonderful and very attentive, we will for sure return.

Realistically I think this is more a 3.5 but it deserves a 4 for being just an easy choice that satisfies different dining preferences and a fun atmosphere. Don't know what you feel like? Does everyone in your group have different tastes? Hop Social! They have a great happy hour every day from 3-6 and after 9, which is nice for those of us who often can't make it to many weekday happy hours! There's a lot to choose from at HH for both food and drinks. You can't go wrong with sliders and fries, and the ahi nachos are fantastic. I didn't like the pretzel with cheese dip at all. Cocktail-wise, I've found it better to stick to more standard stuff. The craft cocktails have been a bit of a miss with me. I had a Manhattan with a tea infusion of some sort recently and it was unpleasantly bitter - and I like bitter! While I tend to think of this as more trendy bar food, they actually have full entree options. I've had a steak dish and recently had the chicken marsala -- not a typical dish for me but I was sooo hungry and wanted comfort food. It was pretty good though the mash that night was so bland and the asparagus was undercooked and naked. I think it was just an off night as I've had good mashed potatoes there and who serves crunchy asparagus without butter, olive oil, or even lemon with a hot dish? We had desserts this last time. The creme brulee was a miss for me - just too soupy under the crust. But my friend loved the peanut butter cheesecake! Both desserts came with a perfectly ripe strawberry that had cuts in it and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. The cuts in the berry made it so you could get more chocolate in the berry. Brilliant! And so delicious. They have seasonal menus as well, which is always fun, and also participate in Arizona Restaurant Week. While it does get busy, you can usually get a spot. It's a great place for groups though definitely make a reservation if you're more than 4 people just to be sure you don't wait around!

Came for dinner and really enjoyed it. Very modern look with plenty of TVs. Our waitress was very friendly and offered good suggestions. Plenty of beer options and a large menu. The food was good nothing spectacular when we return I'm excited to try other things on the menu.

Here for a quick bite for a late lunch. Stumbled upon their happy hour and they certainly offer a great happy hour menu along with their summer feature menu, which looks very refreshing. I opt it for their margarita and the stick bite for my late lunch /afternoon snack. Standard margarita, but perfectly made with the salt rim. Their steak bite was specially delicious. It comes with three pieces of beef tenderloin along with the spring mix greens on the side. A great balance for someone who's looking for a low-carb diet. Steak was perfectly cooked very tender and great value with their happy hour price.

Rushed service at the bar Cold food. Nice bar staff but everything was rushed like they all had to leave to be somewhere. Wouldn't come back

Stopped here for an appetizer and a drink with my husband. Had a Huckleberry Cosmo and a Vegas Roll. Very tasty. Great service. Will definitely be back as the menu looked good.

So our friends invited us to try Hop Social Grill in Chandler. We've lived in Tempe for over 25 years but have yet to try this place. We came in for their happy hour which is every day. Had a couple of beers and just munched on appetizers. Great food. And then we finished it off with an order of the donuts. One order will cover a table for four. Five donut holes, and we fought over the last one. We had to sit next to a celebration group which was kind of loud. But still a good time and appeared to be pretty busy with good food and great craft beer options. Come and check it out.

The place was clean but not much going on because it was a Sunday. Bartender was social and the drinks were ok so I can't complain.

The bar is 15 yards away from the hotel door and registration desk, with nothing in between. Who wants to see tired travelers hauling luggage? Put up a curtain or something. Crowd: Dismal. At 7:30, we were 2 of 4 people there. I can't imagine this place attracting much besides hotel guests. Food: Only appetizers. We got the white bean hummus, which was good, but not great. The sliders at another table looked very tasty. Value: Appetizers are $6. Drinks are cheap during happy hour (4-7), but expensive otherwise. Service: Excellent. They charged the wrong price for my beer, but they took it off completely when we mentioned the mistake. Miscellaneous: They have live music on Wednesdays, and the guy doing acoustic covers was actually quite talented. (No tip jar... Jack needs a manager.) They have a martini flight, so you can try 3 different martinis for $8 during HH. Verdict: I'd go back on a Wednesday to hear Jack and try the sliders, but let's just say this place isn't making it into my rotation.

I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

The service however, has been a miss all three times we've been in. The location is large so maybe they just need to add to their team and do a little additional customer care training with everyone. We came in Saturday afternoon to a small lobby area where a gal was already waiting to be sat and when the third group walked in that lobby got even smaller. We waited for about 5 minutes for the hostess who came off cold and unbothered in leaving customers waiting as the other team members took notice of the filling lobby with no one checking in to let us know we'd be assisted soon. The hostess proceeded to tell us she'd be seating us outside, no offer of sitting inside at all and not once did she acknowledge her absence or offer any sort of greeting, not even a smile. When you're the first person the customer interacts with at business I feel it good practice to create a welcoming atmosphere that represents the space you're entering. Especially a place like this that is known for a fun, lively atmosphere. We were sat outside and our waitress was very sweet and got us taken care of with water, food, and drinks pretty quickly. It was a lot cooler than expected on the patio which was awesome, as I was worried about sitting outside when it was 104. Great job with that Mexicano! But once we got our food our waitress stopped by to check in once and we didn't really see her until the end of our meal after that. No refills on water or check-in to see if we wanted additional drinks (which I feel like happened the last time we were in as well). There's a gentleman with a tiger tattoo on the back of his neck who stops in at some people's tables to check in and have chat, he's never stopped in with us.. it all just seems like the customer isn't a priority at this restaurant. The food is delicious, the drinks are great but for the prices, I want to feel more valued. I want to have that fun experience of going out for drinks in a vibrant high-end cantina where you feel connected with the staff. We'll go back but I would really love to see a more engaged customer support team.

I thought it was really cool how the Ferris wheel actually spun. I did think the polenta would be a bigger portion and served on the side. (They put the polenta in each meatball cup) The meatballs were a good size and tasted pretty good. One of them was topped with Calabrian chili and it was really good. It may have been their monthly special. The kids pizza was a good size for our toddler and you could tell it wasn't frozen cheese pizza. The cheese was good and I like that it comes with a drink. I think it also comes with a dessert but our server didn't offer it and we didn't think we needed it. They did bring the pizza out piping hot and considering it's for a kid I would have appreciated if they let it cool a bit instead of bringing it fresh out the oven.
