Answering my questions would be nice. I received a response stating "Sorry, I'm booked for this time." I asked "What time are you referring to?" I didn't give a date or time when I requested a quote. I did not receive a response. 5 days later I sent another message stating "I didn't have a specific day or time yet." How can you tell me you're booked when we haven't discussed anything? I still have not received a response. I guess someone else will get my business. read more

We hired R Core Electric to do two jobs in our home: install recessed lighting in 2 rooms and install an electrical sub-panel + charger for our electric vehicle in our garage. The job itself was fine. They completed the work and everything seems to be ok. So why the 1-star rating: My issue with R Core is that we specifically asked them to pull a permit for the job they were doing. They charged us for said permit and told us they did. An inspector never came out to confirm the work. I reached out to R Core several times asking when an inspector would come out and I got no response. Finally I went online and searched our address to see if a permit was pulled and there is NO record of a permit being pulled for this job. I reached out again to RCore several times requesting a refund for the permit charge and they never responded. I find this very shady and I'm very upset that they charged me to pull a permit and didn't actually pull it. And that they have not responded to any of my emails. I also tried calling Roman directly and he never returned my calls either. I will never do business with them again. read more

I needed electrical work done that I was not comfortable doing myself. I had five different electrical companies come take a look at my job and give me bids. Roman of R Core Electric was professional, punctual, and personable. His bid was the most reasonable bid based on other people I had talked to. On the day of the job he came early to get one of his employees set up and to verify the work to be done. This review is base on scheduled estimate only. I scheduled an estimate, they gave me a date and time between 8-12. Waited until 11:45am and called them to find out that no one is coming and the reason is they are behind. I just didn't bother to get a another schedule. Although they are polite and apologetic, just didn't want to wait almost 4 hours again. The owner reached out with me and apologized with mixed up schedule. Had 4 ceiling fans installed within a day with two of their workers. Roman checked-in on-site at the end. They were all friendly, professional and punctual. When worked wrapped up, there was a concern that the wireless remote for lights and ceiling fan worked with separately purchased light switches. It just took reading the instructions and actually pairing the remote to the fan. Both switches and remote worked as anticipated. It would've been nice to have known that they were going to open two walls of two of the 4 rooms before they did it and to notify us of some additional holes and some damage they did in one of the rooms (see attached pictures). Maybe it's expected with trial and error in their work but who knows as I do not have knowledge in this area. We wouldn't have minded breaking the walls regardless because there was no way around it if we wanted it installed in those rooms but what if we just had professionally painted the walls or something which wasn't the case.
