Towards the end of your meal, proprietor Paul is likely to deliver a small sampling of rice pudding - and also a shot of Limoncella, Blood Orange, or in our case, Pistachio liqueur, which was super tasty and very memorable. The Gyros were sublime, the Greek salad with scallops a little underwhelming (the Bay Scallops were a bit overcooked), and the service was impeccable. There's a cozy but generous bar area with excellent beer choices on draft - as well as the lemon, blood-orange and pistachio after-dinner drink offerings. The menu has all the Mediterranean fare one would expect, largely focusing on Greek and Italian dishes. He was super friendly (and, it turns out, trained in New York pizzerias), and he recommended the meatball sub. According to my wife, who searches extensively for the best meatball subs, this one was 10/10. She said it was an excellent balance of sauce, cheese, meatballs and bread, and the bread was amazing. If you are a meatball sub lover she said this was "exquisite." Very polite and helpful service from the counter person who turned out to be in the family - the place has a nice family business feel. Everything was very clean, including the bathrooms. And, all at a very reasonable price point!

When challenged with what dressing is on the beet salad the waiter replied that it was a... beet salad. Tried the house salad, beet salad and a special buratta salad. House salad was one bite and done. Couldn't ID the dressing but tasted maybe like it has mustard, pine nuts and basil. Was weird and gross. One bite and done. The buretta salad featured a single slice of tomato and some prosciutto. Was advertised with roasted peppers that were no where to be found. Only one person had the beet salad and featured the same weird green dressing. Two of our party have seafood allergies. We couldn't get answer from the waiter on cross contamination so literally gave multiple entree options for them to work with and the entree selection ended up a surprise. Ordered a variety of entrees. Chicken parm was not eaten, a pizza had one slice consumed, a special salad concoction for a seafood allergy was not enjoyed, I had a pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe, which didn't kill me but I would never recommend it or attempt to consume again, and then two people had the Bolognese, which they said they enjoyed. The service was terrible end to end. The food was 80% terrible. It pains me to say it, but any chain Italian restaurant is better. We would not ever return...
