    Chicken Parmesan

If you like amazing Italian cuisine, this is the place! It starts with a warm sliced loaf that comes with EVOO that has been jazzed up with Zucchini marinated in balsamic vinegar. To start I recommend the baked artichoke hearts & Shrimp if available as a special appetizer. If not then maybe an order of momma's small meatballs. Don't forget to order a glass of house Chianti or Prosecco. Main courses that I might suggest would be their classically done chicken parmigiana with homemade pasta or the savory veal saltimbocca ;). For dessert I went with the traditional tiramisu that is homemade. They cap things off with a complimentary lemoncello

Once again I was pleased with food and wonderful bread. Had pasta bolognese. It was excellent and very filling. Couldn't finish and was just in mood for pasta.

Awful service, awful food, and it is expensive for what you get. My wife and I have been there twice, first one was bad, we have it a second chance, but they failed. On our first visit, I ordered pasta and meatballs, the menu said the sauce was homemade and the meatballs were also homemade. The sauce was spiced up jarred sauce, which can be good, but certainly not homemade. The "homemade" meatballs, small frozen meatballs you can get at the grocery store. And this meal was not cheap. Truly the worst pasta I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. Our second visit was worse. My wife ordered the Affettati, "seafood salad," with Italian cold cuts, my wife asked what kind of seafood, the waiter said "shrimp, mussels, calamari, clams and scallops, she ordered it. The food came, which was meat some cheeses and peppers, etc, NO SEAFOOD. The waiter came by and she asked where the seafood was, he said it didn't come with any, we showed him the menu, he said that it was wrong and walked away, never asked if he could fix it, never apologized for the mistake, and never brought it up again. My wife decided to eat it, it was old and stale, nothing fresh for $26.00. I ordered the baked clams, which said fresh clams, but they were clearly frozen, and tasted horrible. Eventually the waiter came back, we got our check and left. The sad part for us is that we live at kings way, we thought it would be great having a restaurant on the property to frequent, but it is not this place. The atmosphere is an upscale hall. Tables haphazardly placed, the bar area is ok, the tv had a test pattern. The place sits on a golf course, but does not offer easy foods like, burgers, sandwiches, stuff to grab after playing golf. Instead, when they open during the day, you still only have the dinner menu. The staff is not rude, but not attentive in anyway. No visits to see how things were, they had to be flagged down. When they did come they were nasty, not friendly, one guy acted like he was mad because we asked a question, and the rest just have attitudes. Don't waste you time or money. The place is a microwave mill, nothing is fresh, and the seafood they have is not only not fresh, but old. We will not be returning to our neighborhood restaurant, which sucks. But I will gladly make the trip out of the complex after golf, there are some pretty awesome places to eat in Yarmouth Port, and the staff in those, is always pleasant. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TASTE BUDS, DO NOT GO HERE.

The drink menu is to die for!

The food is out of this world. Homemade sauces are dinamite and there drinks are on point!

Absolutely amazing meal in Yarmouthport this evening; one of the best gastronomic experiences we've have on the Cape in years. As context for those of you who may be familiar with the Italian restaurant scene in Manhattan, the proprietor Patrick, brings two decades of experience at the pinnacle and blends the intimacy and culinary glamour of Il Mulino and the range and quality of Il Postino! I started off with a simple insalata tricolore, napped in a fruity olive oil and a spritz of lemon; it was followed by a 2" thick roasted veal chop, tomahawk-style on a classic demi-glace, smothered with a medley of wild mushrooms, and accompanied by oven-roasted potatoes, carrots, and beans. For dessert I opted for the house-made lemon sorbetto -- a perfect, palette-cleansing balance between sour and sweet. The glamours Mrs. enjoyed a Caesar, "the best chicken parmigiana on the Cape," and a profiterole. Guests are offered a Limoncello courtesy of the maître d'h at the end of the meal. We were thrilled with our meals and expect to be regulars. #ladolcevita #boneappetit

Then when you add the fact that this family-owned restaurant has clearly prioritized quality food and service, The Ocean House is must go if you're on the Cape. I was lucky enough to come just at the beginning of the season. Lucky for 2 reasons. Firstly, I was able to get a reservation (I heard it is near impossible once season hits). Secondly, we got a 3 @ 66 deal for an app, a main, and a dessert. So we obviously made it a 6 @ 122 to try everything we possibly could. Apparently that deal is only at the beginning and end of season. The Ocean House has a unique Asian-inspired twist to make each dish unique and intriguing. This goes for both food and drinks. For example, I got a dirty martini with MSG?!? Never heard of that, but it worked. Food was all fresh (especially the fish) and delicious. My favorite was their Chilean Sea Bass. That's a must get. Do yourself a favor and make a resi far in advance and take in everything you can! It may be a little pricy and a little fancy - but definitely worth everything.

I came here on a Friday night and enjoyed the experience. One thing to note, and it's not necessarily a bad thing, it is loud. It's an open floor plan and there is pool, TVs and lots of conversation. So if you're looking for a quiet romantic meal choose a different place. However, if you're looking for great food, drink and a fun atmosphere, this is your place. The fried green beans were great. However, even more impressive was the New England clam chowder. It's one of the best I had in a while. For a meal, I had the fish and chips and both the fish and fries were done to perfection. Definitely will come here again, even it's just for a beer and chowder!

The portions were very generous and we both left full with food to spare. We started with the onion rings, which came out as a big basket super crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. My hot lobster roll was loaded with tender lobster and perfectly buttery, and the sweet potato wedge fries were a great match. The clam chowder was thick, flavorful, and packed with clams, absolutely living up to their reputation. My son really enjoyed his fish and chips from the kids' menu -- crunchy on the outside, moist inside, and plenty of fries. Service was excellent from start to finish. The ambiance was casual and lively but not too loud, with a classic pub feel that still felt very family-friendly. The restaurant is quite large with a spacious dining area, so even when it was busy we didn't feel crowded. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time, keeping drinks topped off. Overall, a great, family-friendly spot with delicious Cape Cod seafood and more than enough food for the price. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in town again.
