Before every appointment, they send a text with the tech's name, photo, and even a little bio including their hobbies. It's like getting a match on a dating app, only this time the person actually shows up and fixes the problem instead of ghosting you. The first visit didn't clear the clog, but the next day another technician came out and patiently explained everything. Both were courteous, on time, and really knew their stuff. And while Yelp loves photos, trust me -- nobody wants to see what was blocking my drain. That's a whole different genre. Bottom line: Boothe's brings personality and professionalism to plumbing. They made an unpleasant situation downright educational and pleasant -- and that's a rare gift.

I literally waited all day as the appointment window was 9;00 AM to 4:00 PM. guy shows up at about 2:30, takes one look and says "we don't drain plastic drains!" What? Why? Someone might have explained that when I made the appointment. "We don't service equipment we don't install." What? Why? "Let me get a picture first." Why, you're not going to service it! "Just to prove I was here." Good-bye. Waste of an entire day. Boothes reputation with me has declined very quickly in the last 12 months. Now they even have AI answering their phones. Very, very disappointed by this company as I have shared their contact information with so many people.

Had to wait over a month for the 1st visit due to their popularity and COVID precautions, but the wait was worth it. The service pro who visited was professional, courteous, kept the area he worked on super clean, and gave us a strong sense of confidence in his expertise. He was able to answer our questions and took his time to ensure that the systems were running properly and well maintained.

Both systems were functioning just fine, EXCEPT for some reason after the technician left the Honeywell Provison Series 8000 thermostat started to malfunction. The next day it just went blank. (Hmmm.....coincidence or causation?....just saying) The technician came back and said the thermostat was defective and he could change it out then and there as he had one ($590) in his truck. I figured it was under warranty so why not and the technician said I would "get my money back, well most of it". RED FLAG - I should have asked for an explanation. So my card was charged for $590. The office just called and said they credited back to my card $343! and they pocketed $247!! (for "shipping and labor"). So be wary and very careful if you have hired them, but if you are not locked into a Maintenance Agreement I suggest you call another HVAC company.

Had good experiences with them and wouldn't have hesitated recommending them, but what follows is NO EXCUSE for a customer being treated as though they were a nuisance and didn't matter. Customer Service is exceptionally poor. Especially after spending $17,600 on a new system with this company. Initially, this wasn't the case, everything was great, but yesterday (1/21) and today (1/22), abysmal customer service. On 1/22, requested a service call for a degraded heater (less than 60 degrees in my home during frigid winter weather), and the service call was handled poorly. Responding technician did NOTHING to resolve the issue (he appeared in over his head with the problem) and was not interested in hearing my concerns, and even less respectful to me as a customer as he got impatient with me. I called the dispatch office to convey my dissatisfaction with the service call and requested that another technician be dispatched. Understandable that with the recent bad weather in NC, the demand for service calls is high. Got it. But you have to be prepared or that demand as their "Emergency Services" advertises on their website, "Here for you round the clock." So, at what level of urgency and when does an emergency support call apply with frigid weather and a degraded heating system where my health now becomes a concern with the cold? A technician was supposed to be dispatched today (1/22), but the person at the dispatch office this afternoon was aloof to my concerns and blew me off hard, saying, "It'll have to be tomorrow, and I didn't have a chance to call you today because we're so busy." Really? Too busy for a 30 second phone-call? So, if I didn't call today to follow up, I'd still be waiting for a technician that was never going to show. Also, asked when the technician would arrive tomorrow, even a general time frame, her reply was, "I don't know." This dispatch "person" couldn't have cared less about my concerns or my wellbeing as a paying customer. This service provider treated me like I didn't matter at all, but they were certainly my best friend when I spent $17,600 on a brand-new Heater A/C system that in less than 6-months after purchase, is having problems. No paying customer deserves being treated this badly, while STILL waiting for the problem to be resolved, having no idea when a technician will arrive at my home. I've lost all confidence in Simmons Air Conditioning and Heating and dread dealing with them on the "so called" 10-year warranty on this system.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Advantage Mechanical in the installation of our heat pump/furnace system. JR is highly skilled and qualified in all aspects of the HVAC trade. He was able to remove our old system and install the new one in one day. The attention to detail was outstanding with no corners cut in the installation. Ductwork was fabricated and precisely fit to adapt the new furnace/air handler, and carefully sealed at all the joints. The refrigerant system lines were purged and cleaned with a solvent prior to a full deep vacuum being drawn prior to final charge. Once the system was running all adjustments were made to both gas pressure to the furnace and blower speeds for the air handler fan. They placed a runner to the outside to keep from tracking dirt inside the house, another attention to detail. They're pricing was also very competitive. They are run in an "old school" manner placing quality and ethical service first. We highly recommend Advantage Mechanical for any HVAC related work.
