It took awhile to schedule everything by Gilbert kept me informed through out the process. The repair team was excellent and also kept me informed throughout the day. The repair person (Hob), took extensive pictures and showed me the before and after of each section repaired. I would highly recommend this business even though I thought they were a bit high on the estimate.. but quality of work was again excellent.

After replacing the boards, the showed us the pictures again and kept us updated. They also helped us replace some of the fascia that was rotten. Overall, their team is efficient and they tried their best to keep us updated throughout the process. There was a lot of debris as they removed the old roof, but they did a very good job cleaning up the areas around the house. One of the electrical circuits blew out during the process, but Apollo sent one of their electricians to ensure that it was fixed. Of course, the roof is one of those things where only time can tell, but we are hopeful that our new roof will last us quite some time!

They even constructed and applied a decorative gable feature that we requested. Our house looks brand new now! What we loved most about First Tier Exterior is that they have teams of employees skilled in different areas so they can complete ALL aspects of the job. That way, we didn't have to be in the position of coordinating different companies and workers (who then blame each other for problems with the job!) The owner Jay was very trustworthy and the project manager Elijah always followed through with what he said would be delivered. The workers showed up early each day as promised and did a wonderful job. I also loved the progress picture updates after each day of work. AAR had the best contract and price after sourcing multiple quotes. We even got the upgraded Solaris shingles by booking by a certain date in October which was awesome because they refract more heat in the summer. We added new gutters on for 4k too. If I had any constructive criticism to offer it would have been to communicate more with the placement on the gutters because we had to have them come back to make a patch and move the gutter to the side because it was better looking on the side of the house rather than a focal point in front. But as promised, they made it right and got the job done with my particular request. Our house looks so much more updated with these Morie Black Landmark shingles, rather than the old terracotta tiles that we had before. I've already referred 3 people to their company and my parents got their roof done by them a month later! It was a bummer they wouldn't honor a referral discount since they said we would have needed a sign out on our lawn to get a discount. In our case it was for insulation though and they were able to insulate our attics very well to help conserve energy and keep the place warmer during winter and cooler during summer. They also helped us replace an extensively damaged flat roof in a very short amount of time. The owner has been in this trade for over 20 years so they have done a variety of jobs and a variety of buildings. It's good to know a small business like this has the experience and knowledge to make a solid product - one that they put their name onto. You know you found an excellent contractor when they are proud of their work and they stand by it. It's best to find contractors who measure twice and/or even thrice and cut once.

When we asked for reassurance on the revised timeline and quote Geovanny simply told us that it was "not up for negotiation." It is doubtful that Q7 is interested in or values your business. With service this bad before they started work or got paid it is hard to imagine they would even pretend that you exist afterwards if an issue were to arise.
