Al (Alfred) and his team from Frank's were assigned to the job. Al came out to look at what needed to be done; the estimate also included a tub replacement ( I purchased the tub & had it delivered for installation). He also met with the construction contractor (walls had been removed) to discuss what needed to be done from his end. I received the estimate the next day - scope of work was very thorough, detailed & complete. So much so I was able to use it as a punch list for the plumbing work. When time came for plumbing work, Al & his team arrived on time, were completely focused on getting the pipe work updated & completed; tub installation completed on the 2nd visit. On the final visit, faucet installed in the new sink, all plumbing work was inspected by Al & ready for Township Plumbing Inspector. This was not an easy plumbing job by any means. Al & his team from Frank's did an exceptional job - all work was organized, performed professionally, work areas were all cleaned after jobs were completed. Final inspection done by Plumbing Inspector passed with flying colors. Pricing for the job was reasonable, given the amount of work that had to be done. They dug from back downspot to street, laid new piping, added stone by street and backfilled the dirt. Excellent. The cement side was a different issue. I dealt with Ed R. The cement work is subed. When the crew came to dig up the sidewalk I saw on ring camera that they did not remove one of the contracted pads (they were supposed to do 4 pads but only did 3). I contacted Ed R. while they were still at my house. Later that day the three pads were cemented in. That part of sidewalk was well done (even if not all pads were done). A month later a new crew came to dig up the fourth pad, they did mine and the neighbors. Horrible job. They stomped all over my new grass, The new pad near my other ones was too high so they leveled it down the last three inches but you can notice that it's not level, the pads by the grass are sloped down (maybe they didn't pour enough cement), not very smooth surface, and when they cleaned up they did it by my decorative curb (leaving stains on it). My wife and I tried whatever we could do to unclog it, and just couldn't figure out why. We ended up calling around and trying to get general estimates. Depending on the task at hand, Bruce gave us the most reasonable quote and we decided to go with him. He was very responsive online and available the same day. Some of the plumbers had given us dates that were well into the following week, and almost twice the price. When Bruce arrived, he made sure he kept the work area clean, worked on our sink, and after we found out that the job needed was worse than we had initially thought, he encouraged me to look around in case I didn't want to go with him. The new project included sawing off the existing galvanized pipe to the laundry sink, which was severely clogged with corrosion and sediments, and having it replaced with PVC pipe she is replacement. We decided to go with him for the new job and he completed it quickly, with quality products, and at a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend using this company for any house related tasks including plumbing.

I appreciated the timely manner of the estimate and the professionalism, I always do at least 3-4 estimates before scheduling any job, so it'll remain to be seen whether I go with Bright Star, but I always live by the rule to get at least a few estimates for any job over $500. EDIT: I did find their quote to be on the higher side after getting a comparing estimate, but it could have just been this particular job.

Given his stellar 5-star reviews we felt comfortable hiring F1. His quote was reasonable and though he wasn't available to come immediately, only a few days later. We originally agreed for him to visit on Friday but somehow he or his bro made a mistake and visited on Thursday, when no one was home at that time he came. He did come back on Friday at our scheduled time and fix the issue with the electric power snake. I wasn't present when he did it but someone else was in my place. He also didn't send a follow up text to tell me it's fixed, diagnoses, photos or how to prevent it. But at the same time, he's also patient and didn't ask me to pay until I prompted him several hours later asking about the status of the job. I suppose he's a busy man! Communication could be better, just keep in mind you may have to prompt him again to get your receipt later. What's important is that it's fixed and working properly.

He offered fast, friendly, and affordable service! Some things I learned: I noticed he didn't caulk the new toilet and after asking, he advised that high rise don't allow that in the gta. He also advised that the kitchen sink was incorrectly installed by the former condo owner. He did a great job replacing it and removing as much of the incorrect caulk/glue as he could. We had to get rid of the old toilet ourselves but I think that's built into the cost since I was quoted at least $40 more by other plumbers who offered that service. Overall, I recommend Daniel's plumbing services. The sink and toilet are still working great.

Buyer beware!  I asked for a quote 2 years ago when they came out to restart my AC.  Never received…read morea quote.  Now, instead of telling me that my furnace, which they installed, was 37 years old (which I didn't know because I did not live here when it was installed) they tried to fix it.  Soaked me for over $400 rendering the system inoperable, no AC and no heat this winter.  They sent a guy with a new part at no charge, after which I'm told it can't be fixed.  They should never have tried to fix it - 37 years old.   I called and told them I want my money back and send me quotes.  Instead they sent me a bill for $397 for the NO CHARGE visit.  Rip off artists.  If you're female, or an older adult, find someone trustworthy who doesn't take advantage.  Hank is rolling over in his grave.
