I didn't have a great experience. I heard about Swirl World in these a few years ago and drove to this location specifically for that purpose. I think had been once before even but today I was so disappointed. It was just gross. I walked in the store, it seemed bright and clean - pizza looked delicious and I realized why a friend is always getting RaceTrac pizza which I always thought was weird... But when I went over to the ice cream area--- more than half the flavors weren't working. This left peanut butter, orange and cookies and cream. The front of the flavors were clear and the working ones still didn't look good. I ended up getting nothing and leaving. Like I said other things looked really good but I drove here specifically for fro-to and if you're gonna sell it it should be clean and in good working order and it wasn't so I think the overall review is fair. read more

My first visit here was a gloomy night after a horrible day that was still not half over. I had just moved from CA and after a million days of 72 and sunny was not enjoying driving in the merciless sideways rain y'all have here. I decided to take a break so I pulled in with low expectations and just hoped to walk out with an acceptable styrofoam cup of lukewarm coffee. I was met with a large coffee bar, a friendly "hello" and more choices than I knew what to do with. Syrups, flavored creamers, cappuccinos and more. I ended up with a cookies & cream cappuccino which I topped with whipped cream. OMG. Whipped cream. I drank half of it and filled it up again because no sugar is too much at times like this and I felt my mood lifting slightly. I took another moment to look around this massive place - clean, bright, bathrooms inside, frozen yogurt, fresh pastries, empanadas, too many snacks to count. I approached the counter and the upbeat cashier says "Is that all for you miss?" "Yeah" I replied, digging for a credit card. "No charge" he said, and I actually smiled. "That's better!" he said. And just like that, the rest of my night didn't suck. Maybe it was the sugar rush, maybe it was the southern hospitality, but it made my day. Since that night I try to stop here every time I'm in the area. Not only do I enjoy the customer service, but the large scale store (that we so don't have in LA) reminds me of of stopping at that ginormous gas station on the way home from Vegas. There's an equal amount of food and choices, though the service isn't nearly as friendly as here. Thanks RT! See you soon. read more

I wouldn't normally review a gas station but when businesses go above and beyond, I think they should be recognized. I had the misfortune of running low on gas following Hurricane Harvey when mass hysteria broke out in DFW. Totally unaware of the panic, I thought I would dip over to Costco during lunch like I do every week and fill up. As I approached Costco I could see the line already a mile long. I had two thoughts a) are all these people really members & b) I'll just head around the corner to Sam's. Because again...lunch. As you may have guessed, none of those other stations worked out including the 4 I passed on my way to Race Trac. Either they were completely out of gas already or the lines were just way too long. So back to this Race Trac. I approach the station and I'm a bit discouraged as they too had a line. But at that point, my gas is even lower and I just decided to bite the bullet. It took me 40 minutes to get my gas but unlike other stations, Race Trac actually had several employees outside directing the flow to get customers taken care of as quickly as possible. I wish I could've tipped them because boy were they hustling and they kept the greatest attitudes. After I got my gas, I pulled up to the store, parked and went inside to grab a hot dog and Icee because again...lunch. read more

This place was filthy! The hot dog buns were hard as rocks! The place smelled bad and the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in days. Some of the yogurt dispensers appeared moldy and the toppings were not fresh and the area around them was dirty. For a fairly new place, it looks old. It needs better maintenance and upkeep. read more

Ugh, so you FINALLY escaped the outlet mall from hell, and it's time to refresh yourself and your vehicle. I like this gas station because it is large, clean, lots of pumps, and plenty of snack options. read more

This RaceTrac is clean, and well stocked for a store that is part of a gas station. My issue with this store is that they don't seem to care if you end up waiting an unnecessarily long period of time to make a purchase (even if you are the only customer in line). Also, they seem to be pretty flippant about correctly weighing food items you purchase, and then equally flippant about ringing up the correct price for said item. This has happened not just once, but several times. Questioning them doesn't help, and so we've taken our business elsewhere. read more

The people are what the difference here, I don't even look at the price per gallon. The store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for my commute home and the line to check out always goes quickly. Even when it seems long. This particular Race Trac seems to offer more product than their other stores... walk in cooler, frozen yogurt machine and confectionery. The outside is steam cleaned regularly as well as the inside being clean and tidy. And there is a car wash right next door. read more

Clean, newer style (with Yogurt bar, etc) location with friendly employees. Not the easiest to get back going east on Stacy, but that is true of most gas stations in DFW when they are on the opposite side of the road you are traveling. read more

Ok, this is perhaps one of the nicer Gas Stations I've been too. Just dropped in for a restroom break and cold beverages. Restroom was impeccably clean. Convenience store had all sorts of snacks and beverages. Got a frozen mt dew and a bottle of water...wife really loves to put her water on ice and the clerk didn't hassle me or charge for the cup of ice. Yay. read more

This gas station is fine, nothing too special but what gas station really is? The problem I have with them is that you can't do cash back on a transaction. I'm not exactly sure why and the clerk did not know. read more

Big, clean, tons of drink options and BOILED P-NUTS! Growing up on the Florida gulf coast, I could get boiled peanuts everywhere, and I'm so glad to find them here. I like the regular a lot better than the Cajun. I'll be back for more, especially now that my kids are addicted to them. read more
