I was in the market for a used Ford Ranger and reached out to Raceway Ford to schedule a test drive. I spoke with David, one of the salesmen, and he was excellent. He was very responsive and informative, answering all my questions about the truck. During my first visit, I took the Ranger for a test drive and found it to be well-maintained. David did a great job explaining everything about the vehicle. I returned for a second test drive with my wife so she could also see and experience the truck. We decided to move forward with the purchase and picked it up the next day. Everything was ready when we arrived. David was great to talk to and not just about the truck, but other topics as well. I did a full inspection of the vehicle, from the engine to underneath the frame, and everything checked out. While I know David is a salesman, he came across as genuine and relatable. Everyone I interacted with at Raceway Ford was helpful and courteous. If I'm ever in the market for another truck, Raceway Ford will be my first stop. I highly recommend them.

A bit long but worth the read I went to start my 2016 Ford Edge and it would not start. After troubleshooting (I have rebuilt many cars, Trucks, and Harleys), I found a short in the wiring going to the Temp sensor for the coolant. Not something a gear head like me can replace because of the reprogramming needed. Towed it to Raceway Ford. Charged a $250 fee to troubleshoot. It used to be this would them be deducted from the cost of the repair if you did it with them. Not any longer. Not only that but they called later and wanted another $850 because the intake manifold had to be removed to inspect the temp sensor. After some back and forth it was reduced to $550, still way to high but I had no choice. Next day they called and told me the wire to the temp sensor had been chewed by some animal. They wanted $2,000 for the repair. I asked why it was so much and was told it requires 3 hours of repair. I also asked if that included the $550 for the "Inspection" and was told yes. I again had no choice so gave the go ahead. ONE hour later I got a call saying it was ready. Went to pick it up only to find the bill was $2600. He insisted that he told me $2600 on the phone. My Adult Daughter was in the car when I took the call and She assured me he said $2000. Again had to pay it. While this was going on I tried to register my truck for the year and could not because it had an emissions recall. It was just reprogramming so Raceway said it would take 15 to 20 minutes. When the Tech came out, and after 45 minutes he told me he could not get the computer to accept the Raceway License for the software needed from Ford. He had to go back and get it "figured out". 4 days later he returned and tried again. This time the scanner that interfaced with the car and computer did not work. Had to go back and change scanners. 5 days later he returned and was able to reprogram the truck. Problem solved right, not a chance. I still could not register the truck because Raceway had not entered the code that my truck produced when it was reprogramed. 2 days later the tech once again had to come out to get the code. It took 4 days after that before it showed up at the DMV. By then I had gone past the due date and they wanted to charge the late fee. After several emails and documentation, I was allowed to pay the regular fee. We have used Raceway exclusively for over 2 decades. Myself and my extended family have purchased 11 cars from them. The last one about a year and a half ago. This last week I had a Granddaughter turn "Sweet 16" and we gave her a car. It was a Mustang purchased from Ken Grody Ford. Great deal and amazing customer service. I hope the $2600 was worth the loss of a sale this last week and all the sales from here on. Not sure what happened there but post if you have had similar problems.

Highly recommended by a friend, Bill Chamberlain. As we had just been just looking around. Contacted Erik Pryor and he set it up with Brandon (sales person). Arrived and was greeted by Brandon. We explained what we were looking at and what our plans were for what we were doing. He had 2 versions and he went and brought them to us. We went over both and decided to drive the white one. Did our drive and decided to purchase. Brandon gave us multiple ways to go. He made us feel comfortable and not pressured. After going over the options we agreed on the vehicle pricing and terms. We then sat down with the F&I person which also made us feel great. The whole experience of dealing with Brandon and fiance dept. went so we'll and smooth had made us happy with our decision to but at that moment instead of going elsewhere. The first time I went to this location I had a much better experience than this. However, charging a patron for services you did not provide is very illegal and very sad. Word of advice for anyone getting service on your vehicle do small things like marking your tires with a marker or changing your filters with dirty filters to make sure they do their due diligence during their inspections. Went to this location for their works service package where they offer an oil change, filter check, tire rotation and balance, in addition to a battery check oil top off and other items. I was told on Saturdays they don't offer an appointment it is first come first serve. Which is different than every other for location I have been there. I showed up at 8:30 and I was there for almost 3 hours to get my car served. To wait that long you would think I would have got excellent service. They have a camera in the shop and I could watch them literally just sit with the hood open on the car and not see anyone actively looking at my vehicle. Mind you I mentioned to them I was going on a road trip so it was important my car was inspected. I knew everything was wrong when I went to check on my vehicle he was ready to charge me with no vehicle report in had. Every time you go to Ford, you get a vehicle report from who inspected you car. He did not have one first red flag. Second I ask hey any things to report on my vehicle. No nothing at all its in great condition. Second red flag. Last I ask for my inspection and he says they don't have one. He says he will email it to me. At this point including the fact that I was a able to watch the "service" they provided which was just an oil change and maybe a top off , I should have asked for a manager. Instead I spoke with him more to let him dig a bigger whole. And asked him more follow up questions based on my last check up. Needless to say I don't believe they did a tire change and I know for a fact they never looked at my filters or windshield wiper blades which I desperately needed. Word to the wise make sure you inspect your car and view it before you take it in so you have proof of missing service.

Also, we arrived with our credit paperwork from Altura Bank, 4.99 interest rate ( our credit score is 875... only to be told they were quoted a higher rate-so, they chose BofA at the rate of 7.7%.... Hmmmm.. bait and switch... we gave them quite a chunk of change as a down payment. I then returned to my credit union "Altura" who confirmed , they definitely had lowered rates... Buyer beware... we are retired law enforcement and will post on our retirement social media account ref this incident as well... Also, another minus 10 stars for not monitoring social media and reaching out to us... DO BETTER RACEWAY FORD!!!!

Went in to the parts department on Saturday morning Feb.15th 2025 to get a car part for my daughter's car and the gentleman helping me was extremely helpful and professional. Not knowing a lot about cars he was patient and walked me through it. I wish I would've remembered his name,but I believe he said his nickname was "mongo". I may be mistaken. --update-- I was contacted by Chris, the parts manager, shortly after this incident. Chris apologized and was more than willing to honor the pricing online for me. He was very transparent to their SOPs and what their front desk and online agents are instructed to do with price discrepancies. They have since updated the pricing online to be more accurate, and he got me the parts at their original advertised price. The vendor sent the wrong part (right box, wrong item), and Chris is currently working with me to correct that (part shows RH side/ right rear side; left side was sent). This is a vendor error and not on the manager. Parts manager has been very helpful I am leaving the original review for transparency of my experience here. I will update once the proper parts come in. read more

You want to do the right thing and support your local dealer but H NO for this place when they want to charge you $9.20 for an oil drain plug washer. Raceway Ford has been around for close to 30 years maybe more so this place has to be paid for but these greedy people want to charge ridiculous prices on parts. I can't wait until the day Californian's only can buy electric vehicles. There's no smog on them so you can order one from any state you want. A smart out of state dealer will just drop prices and deliver the car. By by to rip-off dealers in Cali! The Parts counter employees here are awesome so remember they don't set the prices, the owner is ripping you a new one not then! read more

I drove 2 hrs to take delivery of my all new 2023 Lightning Platinum, all my local Ford dealers were trying to rip me off by charging me $20,000 over MSRP, folks DO NOT buy over MSRP those dealers telling u it's because of the shortage of inventory or no chips available that's crap u should not call for, my sales person Steven asked his manager Eric if they could sell it at MSRP and I got the written confirmation by text, I highly recommend to give these guys at Raceway Ford the business, transparent, excellent customer service and Andrew in finance was gentle and not upselling like most of the finance sharks at the car dealerships, go ask for Steven and Eric!!! read more

I have already left a couple of reviews on different sites for Raceway Ford but I did not want to miss yelp which is my personal favorite. I depend on yelp for reliable recommendations and I'm going to give you one now. Raceway Ford went above and beyond any service I've ever had at any dealership ever. i was inquiring about 2 f250 trucks they had on sale, when i asked for a real contract on those 2 trucks so i can present it to my bank, a guy named steve sent me a contract without the discounts marked on the window price, i sent him a picture as to why he was not giving me the price on the window sticker, he never replied, first time on this dealership and last, they very dishonest people for trying to sell me a truck at regular price when there was a discount on th0se 2 trucks, not honest people, not trustworthy, i do not recomment to buy from scammers like raceway ford of riverside....and i'm giving them 1 star, otherwise i would not be able to review their bad service and dishonest people working there.... read more

Warrant issues were not fixed and truck was still not ready 5 days after they called to tell me it was ready. Horrible service and poor workmanship. If a repair takes longer, say so. Don't call me repeatedly to pick up my vehicle just to tell me it's not ready when I arrive. read more

While the sales side was painless the service side is a nightmare. Make sure to overlook the vehicle before leaving as well, I now have some scuffs that were not there prior. I will not be retuning and finding another dealer for service and future purchases. read more

I would like to thank Chris at Raceway Ford. My daughter's key would no longer go into the ignition. Apparently, she had been having trouble with it and never told me. We faced towing, parking tickets as well as the price to replace the key. Chris had the key for me the next morning and found a way for me to avoid having a locksmith meet me to reprogram the key. Made an appointment on December 14th to see a low mileage high end used car there after driving a long distance. Arrived at the lot and salesman Juan contacted me after being there waiting for 20 minutes which had given me time to find all of the paint and graphics issues the $85k car had. After pointing out the issues with the vehicle, he did the old "let me talk to my manager" crap. Came back 2 minutes later and said the car was "as is" and nothing would be repaired. Then I asked if they would negotiate on the price to save money to fix the paint and graphics and was rudely told "No, as is condition". The biggest issue was the RUDENESS of both the salesman named Juan and his cohort. I was there to spend a large amount of money on a USED Ford product at a Ford dealer and was treated like garbage. Needless to say lost my business to a GM dealer JESSUP MOTORS in Cathedral City, where I found the same model year vehicle Ford product in much better condition. And at JESSUP MOTORS I was treated with respect the entire time. If you're looking for a vehicle buy somewhere else, RACEWAY FORD shouldn't even be in business. Great and smooth transaction! They helped me get the vehicle I had been looking for months and at a great value too! All the dealers I had contacted had anywhere from 7 to 20 thousand markup, they only had a 5k markup! Everything was done over the phone (credit run, numbers, etc) I simply got to the dealership to signed papers. Steven was very attentive with me and my family, being bilingual is always a plus too! Actually, I give myself 2 stars for falling for their bullsh*t robo-marketing. They make me feel all warm and cozy with their "we care about you" emails, and then drop the ball on me when I find out that they don't give a darn about their customers when I get there. I gave their service people 3 starts because one of their 3 people actually seems to care. The others didn't care a bit. Don't these people know that they sell cars AS A TEAM? I can take or leave Ford's cars and trucks, but I'll for sure LEAVE them for this horrible sales and service location. Seek your car elsewhere. Don't listen to their BS hype. read more

I purchased a 2023 Ford Bronco from this dealer and was shocked how much they took care of me and made this hands down the best car buying experience. I live in northern California and they took care of all the paperwork, picked me up from the airport, brought the Bronco to me and communicated with me the whole time. Old school customer service. I highly recommend Raceway Ford. The Ford dealers by my house were not helpful and acted like I should be fortunate they were taking the time to look for type of Bronco I wanted and they wanted like 10% plus over MSRP. Raceway got me everything I wanted and nothing I did not want, did not pressure me to buy anything extra. Like I said old school customer service. read more

Best car purchasing experience of my entire life. I started my car buying process over a month ago and every dealer/representative I tried working with could not deliver what I needed and wanted. They would all make false promises until finally I found raceway Ford and Edwing helped me get my DREAM MUSTANG Mach-E!! He got me approved online before I even got to the dealership. Helped me understand how the other dealerships were sending my credit score to 22 different banks which will have an impact on my score for the next 2 years. He helped me identify how I can eliminate those inquiries and got me approved with a great rate. On top of my that I get what I've always wanted with my mustang Mach-E! Oh where to begin! As a woman I've dealt with my fair share of gender discrimination. I originally dropped my leased car off to get an oil change and other service repairs. Not only did Stewart try to make me pay for services included in my lease, but they kept my car for a week when it was supposed to be done the same day. They called to inform me my services would be upwards of $1,000 and I told them that I should not be paying anything. It wasn't until my husband spoke to Stewart that he listened. After 4 days of being carless I had to take matters in my own hands and ask for a rental car. Once again I was faced with comments like "we don't offer that here". Again when my husband asked a rental car was presented to me. Overall, there's is absolutely no customer support and an extreme lack of communication. I highly recommend going elsewhere. read more

I'd like to share my recent great experience with this dealership and the humble people who helped me purchase my new F250 pickup truck. I was handled by two salespersons named, Edwin and Rick, they are both humble, patient, and courteous. they were fair negotiators and gave me an excellent value on my trade-in RAM 2500. overall I got a great deal and great experience. Not very impressed with this Ford dealership. Went in for an oil change, due to the demand of service need I had to leave my car over night. Not very customer friendly. No problem!!!!! There customer service was not as I expected....Oh well guess I'll be going to the one in Long Beach who take care of all my needs. Car was dusty, they did not even offer a wash after paying $99 for a oil change. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.. read more

In 2002, I purchased a brand new metalic grey F-150. It has been a great truck for the last 18 years and treated me well. When shopping for a new truck, I scoured the internet to find a new F-150 with exactly the configuration and options I wanted. Once I found it 100 miles away from home at Raceway Ford, I contacted them, let them know I was interested in the truck and didn't want to haggle on price. Sales Manager Eric Pryer sent over a quote within 10 minutes and the terms were very, very fair. The next day, my wife and I went to the dealership, took care of the paperwork and left a couple hours later in the brand new truck. John W. took care of us when at Raceway and walked us through the delivery process and provided an excellent new vehicle briefing. October 2nd,2023 I purchased a new 2023 Ford F250 Truck with my old truck as part of my down payment. They had me sign the transfer of ownership paperwork effective on that date. They assured me that the balance I owed on the truck would be paid off in a few days. Here it is over 3 weeks later, and my bank still has not seen any payment for the truck as of October 24th and are now sending me notices I am pasted due. Next step it goes to collections. I do not know what kind of SCAM they are working on their customers but if you're planning on buying a Ford product from this company, I suggest you think twice and go elsewhere. I now have to get my attorney involved and spend time pursuing this issue. What a racket they have going. read more

False Advertisement, Lacks Empathy, Unethical, Bait and Switch - (see attachments). This is a typical place caught in the act of trying to take advantage. Mr. P. Cole - General Manager, several messages were left for you, and you didn't bother to return the calls (even an urgent message was left) on your voicemail, and with the receptionist. You were there. Please don't try to defend this. Incident - 6-20-2023 NO NEED TO RESPOND NOW! So the drive to get to this place was over an hour. There was an appointment scheduled. The ad for the car of interest said the car was a Ford Explorer, and the price was $34,139. The Disclosure Statement provided by Erik the Sales Manager, said the price was $36,751 (he provided the higher price in writing). Now keep in mind they clearly had an ad online. He said he was offering an extra discount on the car, yet the price of the car was displayed differently for the public to see. The GM Mr. Cole, again was called several times with an urgent message left to return the call regarding this. Not once did he bother call. When Erik was called, the salesman said he tried to call back, but there was no answer, which was (a FAT LIE). When pics were sent to Erik's cell phone with all the details, he then returned the call and went right into being defensive and rude. He couldn't explain and appeared frustrated that he was caught. There is no need to post any untrue statements about them (you can see for yourself). Perhaps someone on this platform can help them out by explaining the attachments below. There is a disclosure, and other details regarding the ads seen online. BEWARE OF RIP OFFS like this. The dishonesty is extremely high after the pandemic. Should you shop here???????? and Why? The sad thing is, this car would have been off their hands yesterday, until the original information was reviewed. It was double checked just to make sure they quoted the right price..... Bought a used car on June 7, 2021. Identified the car through TrueCar, who identified the advertised price as "excellent" based on whatever TrueCar's algorithm for that is. I arrived at the dealership expecting the inevitable, "oh yeah, but that's before we add the mandatory $900 of this and that nonsense ..." But wait! Can this be? The salesman takes us for a test drive, the car was great, I say "We'll take it," and he says, "OK, you came through TrueCar so that's the amount I'll write it up for!" No bullshit additional "fees" or "dealer installed options" or any of that nonsense. In fact, after sliding the purchase contract across the table for our signature he says, "oh wait -- you're a veteran" and knocks another $250 of the price! Did I pay too much? Maybe -- maybe I'm a dope for believing TrueCar. But the point is the salesman honored the price quoted, the finance guy also matched the interest rate from my credit union, and neither of them wasted our time with high pressure "upsells." I've been driving past this place by the Riverside Plaza for decades and always like how cool the…read morebuilding looked. I had a strange shaking in my front end, and thought it was my brakes . I was at the Greek place on Merrill, and when I was in the drive-through, I saw the suspension place across the street, so I thought I'd step in for some quick questions. Everybody was super cool, and even though they were busy, the guy mentioned they'ld do a free front end diagnosis to determine my brake condition. He said sometimes that means you do need new rotors. They were pretty busy, but I only had to wait about 15 minutes until they got a bay open. Turns out it wasn't my brakes at all, I had a bad strut on one side. During the evaluation, they mentioned they are also specialists in Lexus rear airbag suspension. Luckily, my rear suspension was fine and I only had that single bad strut. I decided to get both taken care of as well as the alignment for the front and rear. They also gave me a 10% discount on the alignment work because I had a major repair. I took an Uber home, because they said they might not have the job completed the same day. But they got parts delivered early, and my car was done before 5:00. Excellent work, and I didn't feel like they were trying to misrepresent any aspect of the job. As a matter of fact, I asked about any more things I needed done, and they said I was pretty much solid. Excellent shop.

The only thing that I had going for me was that it sounded like it was ready for the trails because it sounded like a prerunner due to the fact that someone had stolen my catalytic converter. So I walk in and I'm immediately greeted by Miguel and Carlos (who I found out was the owner) and I asked them "have you ever worked on a prerunner Prius" and they both started to laugh. After explaining to them both what had happened Carlos told me that they can definitely get it done. He was up front with me by saying at the moment all their lifts were in use and it would be a couple days before they were able to get to it, and to me that was fine. After a few days, Carlos called me letting me know that they had it on the lift, seen the damage, and had a better idea to what it would take to get everything replaced correctly. I truly appreciated the fact that he just didn't call me to give details of what was broken but offered video and pictures of what was damaged, gave me different part options, cost comparisons, and how long it would take. When I went to pick up my car Miguel went over all the paperwork, what was done, parts, and warranty that was offered. He took me out to my car and started it up and it sounded like a hybrid on battery mode and not a hybrid on Baja 500 mode. The car was returned clean and ready go. I left the shop knowing that if I needed anything from these guys wether it was for warranty or just future repairs I can go to these guys and know that the job will get done correctly, professionally, and proficiently. First, I went to your establishment for a re-gearing to 4:88 front and rear axles and an Eaton TruTrak to replace the OEM rear locker. After waiting at your shop for 8 hours, My vehicle was delivered to me with an error code "service 4wd". When I went back in and inquired about it, YOU'RE staff told me, "drive it for a while it will go away". That issue never resolved. I called PWG to schedule a fix appointment. At that appointment your tech put a solenoid to correct the "service 4wd" lamp and a requested rear diff cover. Why that solenoid wasn't done initially, I don't understand? I live in Palm Springs and for me to come to your shop because of your tech not performing installation correctly is a costly inconvenience to me! While getting an oil change at my regular mechanic, that's when he brought to my attention about your tech damaging my steering stabilizer, fluid actively leaking from rigs front drivers side axle and the transfer case. ALL areas your tech had to perform work on in order to do the re-gearing, and that were NOT leaking or damaged before your techs working on my vehicle. I tried to contact you on many occasions, to no avail. Finally, when I did talk to you about this, and said if it doesn't get fixed I will go to BAR for filing a claim, to which your response was, "go ahead"! Is this how a rightfully dissatisfied customer is treated at PWG? Currently I still have a rig that I can't even get into 4L. Those are the facts! Thanks.

Buying a new car from a dealership is something I always absolutely dread. I hate dealing with salesmen who are always asking personal questions trying to size you up. I hate dealing with finance people who always have something to sell you and look at you like you're an idot when you say no (alarms, lojack, extra insurance, extended warranties, etc). Its all very, very tiring to me because by the time I walk onto a dealer lot, I know exactly what I want, I know exactly what I should pay, and I don't want to play the games that a typical dealership plays. So I was skeptical once again when it came time to purchase a new F350 which I needed to order to get exactly the way I wanted it. I contacted Raceway Ford via email to get a quote and Jacob responded back with all the information I requested. I had contacted other dealers and they either gave incomplete information or insisted on calling me which I wasn't interested in...I wanted to do as much as possible via email. I had many, many questions before ordering and Jacob was patient and very quick to respond each and every time with exactly the information I had requested. I was very impressed (and I'm hard to impress). Got the truck ordered and then needed to change an item due to a misunderstanding that I had (my fault). Jacob again was patient and extremely helpful in figuring out what we needed to do and was always just a quick email away anytime I had a question or wanted an update. When the truck came in, it was perfect, largely due to Jacob's persistence and follow-through. Took the family in to look it over and test drive it and then did the paperwork. We used the Costco auto program so the price was already set and was lower than anything I could have negotiated (and lower than all the sites I researched such as truecar.com, kbb.com, and edmunds.com). They had a play area in the showroom, so the kids played while my wife and I took turns signing paperwork (sitting in comfy chairs by the play area). They even had popcorn for the kids. When it was time to go to the finance department, we were in a small room, but thankfully this didn't take long. I had my first visit at Raceway Ford today for an oil change, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at an auto service center--which is not something I say lightly about car maintenance. Before even going in, I called ahead to get a quote and confirm that I could bring my truck there since I didn't purchase it from their dealership. Right away, they were incredibly helpful, informative, and--most importantly--transparent. They reassured me that I could service my vehicle there or at any certified dealer of my choice, which I really appreciated. I decided to go with them, and I am SO glad I did. Thomas helped me, and I cannot say enough good things about him--seriously, 10/10, beyond exceptional. From the moment I got there, he was kind, welcoming, and just had the best energy. But what really stood out is that he didn't just "do his job"--he actually cared. Not only did he take care of what I came in for, but he also educated me on things I should have been told when I originally purchased my truck. He walked me through everything step-by-step, gave me helpful resources, and made sure I fully understood my options. What stood out even more was his attitude. He is kind, patient, and genuinely wants to help people. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. He never once made me feel pressured or overwhelmed, which is something I've experienced at other places. Instead of pushing unnecessary add-ons or surprising you with costs at the end, they are upfront, honest, and give you options. Extremely refreshing when it comes down to these places. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but I went in on a Saturday and they only accept walk-ins, so that definitely played a part. The driveshaft on my 2016 Ford Transit 250 broke September 27, 2021 there was already a recall for it. It took until January 21, 2022 for my van to get fixed they told me it was good as new. When i drove it i noticed it made a loud engine noise that it didn't make before the recall was done. I took it back right away and was told that they would call me when the mechanic was free because they were too busy. They never called back so i decided to just drive there and tell them to fix it. They told me they would look at it and let me know what's wrong with it when the mechanic looks at it. They called me the next day and told me it was the exhaust manifold and it had nothing to do with the recall even though it didn't sound like that before. They said it would be 750 to fix and that i would have to pay. They said they had the part and would have it fixed by the next day. Then the next day they said oh no we said the parts would be here in about 7 days. I called and complained and they said oh the parts just got here this morning we'll have it fixed by tomorrow. They called and said they fixed the exhaust manifold and then they that the catalytic converter was also making noise and that they needed to fix that too. I have waited now half a year to get my van back. I still haven't received my van. read more

Just wanna say that this place is awesome. I've bought my car here and was extremely happy with my purchase since last year. However, I found a problem with my car last week (some weird noise, coming from the front left suspension of my 2011 Explorer), I took it in on a Monday and I got a call within 2 and a half days later with the news that my car was ready for pick up. They even offer to shuttle us from home to the dealer. It worked out perfectly!! Just wanna thank Jessie from the service department. He really went out of his way to make us feel attended. He called and notified us of any updates and he had an answer for every question we threw at him. The whole staff was very pleasant and professional. NOW, THAT'S WHAT I CALL GOOD SERVICE! in my opinion, we need more business like this around the Inland Empire!. I was at the Mercedes dealer a month ago and my car took more than a week to get back (now that was stress full). As a Ford dealer in Riverside I can really say that this one is truly one of a kind in the city of Inland Empire. I'll Be Back (soon). Perhaps I'll scrap my C-Class and get a Mustang! I just wanted to drop you a short note and let you know what a pleasure it was dealing with the staff at Raceway. I had sent an internet response late Monday night to a vehicle I saw on line. Rick got back to me the next day and through the internet sent me a price. I sent back where I needed to be and Lisa got back to me within the hour with a quote that worked. I came down on Wednesday morning and meet with Lisa who really seemed concern to get me into the right vehicle. After some discussion about my needs Lisa said that she had something that she thought would work better for me really close to where I needed to be and I was truly blessed with the vehicle that she had. Lisa sent all the paper work over and had a meeting she had to go to. She handed me off to Anthony who is an exceptional young man who went out of his way to me feel comfortable and take care of any questions I had. I believe it was AJ who took care of the contract which was very pressure free. From beginning to end the entire process took about two hours. This by far was the best new vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. read more

A factory AC line was found routed incorrect so I took in my Saleen F150 truck to get fixed under warranty. The line is stressed and ready to break. The service manager and advisor both claimed someone did this to the vehicle. They claim Ford docent do these mistakes, ok. They tried to say Saleen could have done it when car was modified, but they don't touch the AC on these cars at all. Then they said when the supercharger was installed it could have happened, again no AC lines are touched when superchargers are installed. Finally they said the line needs to break for them to warranty it. I mean how much harder are you gonna try to come up with stories to not do the work? This is a 100k vehicle with only has 2k miles still under warranty. They told me I can call Ford corp, or take to another dealership to try and repair that way. Wow!! This is my local dealership, we might as well not have a local Ford dealership with this type of service. You guys should be embarrassed of yourself. This caliber special edition truck shouldn't be ignored. I can only image what you guys say to the smaller guys. read more

A few weeks ago, I went in to get the computer chip in my car key (2001 Ford Mustang) replaced because I needed it for work. My brother had the spare but this seemed like the only way to get the car running before I had work again in 2 days. Initially, they had told me that it would take 2 days and cost $175. This would have been fine. Three days later, I walked 4 miles to the dealership expecting to have a working car, but they couldn't fix the problem. They told me that they would have to replace the transmitter in the car (that links up with the one in my keys) and make me completely new set of two keys. This was another $200 on top of the original quote. This whole situation would have already left me a little upset, but to make things worse, somehow it took them almost 2 weeks for a "2 day" fix. The last nail in the coffin that warranted this post: my old key still works so I was charged $175 extra for something I didn't need. Terrible service. I lost $175 on top of the time and money I lost because Raceway made me miss work. read more

Of the many car buying experiences I've had over the years, this one was easily the best. For the absolute best sales experience, talk to Brian Sayre the Internet Manager. I contacted him as a pre-approved buyer and told him what I was looking for. After a few quick emails back and forth, including trade-in info, we agreed on pricing, trade-in value and scheduled a time to meet. On my way to the appointment, he had the car prepped and washed so it would be ready for delivery when I arrived. Upon arrival we inspected the new car, drove it and completed the necessary paperwork. Needless to say, he's a man of his word, the price we agreed to was the price I paid. No bait and switch, no gimmicks, no add-ons and no pressure. I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour! There are a lot of Ford Dealerships in Southern California and I drove almost two hours to do business with this one. I highly recommend this dealership and absolutely recommend that you work with Brian. read more

This was my first experience buying a car by myself and going in many people warned me to be careful and that I would be taken advantage of because I'm female. This couldn't be further from the truth at Raceway Riverside. Chris contacted me immediately after I expressed interest in a vehicle and was thorough and diligent. I recently bought a 2012 F350 Form Raceway Ford. I did a lot of shopping around and was in contact with over ten Ford dealers. I had heard that there had been problems with this dealership in the past but they are now under new management. I dealt with sales rep Steve Overton and he was great from the start. I started off by telling him, like I had all the other dealerships, that I didn't need to be sold on a truck and that I knew exactly what I was looking for. He never tried to sell my something that I didn't want and found the truck that I wanted. The other dealers that would return a call or email, wanted to sell me something that they had on the lot and had things on it that I didn't want and not what I needed. Steve gave me the best price right up front, beating the other dealers "best price" by thousands of dollars. Save yourself the time and energy of playing the salesman's games. I went in for a nail repair in a hurry and they scratched my whole rim on the tire machine. I waited one week for them to send the rim to a CNC shop to remanufacture the rim to fix it so I had to be on a spare tire for a whole week. When it arrived the color was not matching my rims which are OEM. I thought I'd have to be on a spare for even longer but that wasn't case. The ball was dropped but it wasn't completely on them but their rim partner who works on their rims. There was two colors Acura had on that rim for that year he just simply dropped off the wrong one so later that day it was fixed. I bought a new set of tires while we were at it since they were worn and they got the new rim on after a week or a little longer and I got some complimentary services done I was looking to soon, I feel for having to go through the troubles that were caused . Accidents happen and I feel they took care of the problem and then some in an appropriate manner. read more

Raceway Ford in Riverside Service Department has got to have gone through extensive training on how to lie their brains out all while kissing ass at the same time. Oh, that noise is supposed to be there, Maam. We couldn't duplicate that rattle in the 10 hours we have had your car in for repair. We fixed the problem, it was this (on the opposite side of the car) and it the original problem was not fixed. Maam, really, your vehicle is supposed to sound like that. This is a normal rattle. 20,000 miles and it never made these sounds, noises, rattles. HELLO. I AM NOT STUPID. I am NOT a feminist but they are turning me into a wildly offended pissed off and frustrated woman because they are treating me like I KNOW NOTHING. The little lady who falls for anything the big strong men say. AAARRRGH! HORRIBLE SERVICE. CONDESCENDING MEN. I'd rather pay a real mechanic and will at this point forward. read more

Chris Hughes from Raceway Ford emailed us and called us, being so polite and professional and genuinely caring that made our buying experience so much better than we've ever experienced at any car dealership. We initially came in thru the Costco Auto Buying Program but he got us a better price!! He didn't pressure us in anyway, and let us take our time in deciding what we wanted, but was there to guide us along the way with product info and we bought from him - and boy was it a sincere pleasure! i purchased a 2008 e-250 ford parts van, with 22000 miles on it. i had it customized and the van looks and runs great. i bought it on a sunday in 2009, it was bad weather and got a great deal. i was allowed to take the van home, without droping a dime, the salesman drove my car home, along with another guy following. i wrote a check for the dealership, that;s all their was to it. usually, it's not the sales person, technician, it's just a person having a bad day, or just 1 of many that is being uncooperative. like people, it's not the building it's just people. all other dealers have the same type of salesperson. i don't care if your buying a donuts or a $400,000 house. people are people. if you buy used, you can always expect problems, if the person before you didn;t take care of the car.. john in moreno valley, california. read more

I recently leased my 3rd vehicle. I had never done business at Raceway Ford but I am glad I did. I emailed them ahead of time exactly the vehicle I needed. The entire transaction was negotiated and done via email. It was painless and the best car buying (leasing) experience I have ever had. Lisa and Steve were the BEST. They were quick to reply and had great followup. Once in the dealership Steve completed the process. Came in on his day off to take care of me. He was polite and professional. I had a few things to take care of in service as part of a "due bill" and Mark in the service department was just as helpful. Well I have no idea how or why "Richard L" had a bad experience at Raceway Ford...I LOVE this dealership and these people. I purchased a used car there in August and got a GREAT deal on the price and worked with the most AWESOME people from my salesman Cornell to the sales manager Barnaby. Then 25 days later I began to have a problem with the transmission and even though I was over the mileage limit for the 30 day dealer warranty they covered my $200 deductable on my 2 yr warranty they gave me with the purchase AND gave me a FREE rental car to drive for 6 days while they were waiting for parts from Ford to fix it. Eric and his crew in the Body Shop do absolute wonders to a vehicle and its restoration. I had a run-in with a vengeful ex-wife who damaged my front end on my Chrysler 300C. My insurance and the deductible weren't the best of friends, but Eric took the time to listen to my issue, and give me a quote that was hands down better than any estimator I've seen. He took my baby away and when I came back today to get it, it came back absolutely amazing. I bought a 2008 MustangGT from them and returned to buy a 5.0 MustangGT in May of this year. Go to the Internet Department and ask for Jerry or Rheanna. I saved thousands and they are no hassle. They searched and found a 2012 when I couldn't get one anywhere else because of high demand, but I still got it at invoice. The nearest car I wanted was in another state. These are honest people. I can't speak for retail sales. The service department is slow but they do top notch work and the body shop repaired an accident on my 2008 for the best price I could fine - and did an amazing job. The price I got ($28,000) was $3,000 below the best offer I got! read more
