You guys don't like black people huh? I brought in a complete exhaust system. 3" cat race style. Cost me $1,000 and I took my challenger here to have them do the work and one of the young Mexicans act like he didn't want to do it. Because it's a bad azz car and he doesn't have one so anyways these guys lied and said 2 hours and I sat at a restaurant nearby and they finished in one hour. No phone call. I didn't even get a chance to hear it plus the hung my complete system wrong. One side didn't match the other and its all because they are racist and dont like black folks. read more

I had my muffler replaced last year in November. Within that period of time I started to smell fuel fumes. I have discovered that the technician did not notice the fuel line was up against the muffler causing severe damage to fuel hose. During the course of time it melted the hoses and punctured a pin hole causing the fuel hose to leak. I would NOT recommend this place if the did a proper job to begin with. read more

I came in to have my car inspected because it would not PS smog due to a catalyst systems failure. Upon inspection they found the secondary cat on my car was an aftermarket part that was not approved for my car. Alfonso made some calls to the dealership and found the part needed is back ordered possibly for nine months. So he gave me solutions to the problem in order to get my car to pass smog. He was honest and helpful. Once I can get the issue resolved I will be going back to this shop to get the work done. The prices are fair and affordable. I truly thank you for your honesty, Alfonso! Our catalytic converter was stolen off of my husband's Honda CRV. Alfonso quoted an extremely fair price to replace the "cat" including adding a plate to prevent the theft again. Then he charged, only $100, to also have a plate put on my Honda as well and the same day. When we asked Alfonso when he closes he replied, "when my customers cars are done!" Brought my truck here for a new catalytic converter. They did tell me that my check engine light may come back on and will not pass smog, until the dealer can change the computer from open loop to close loop. I have been to three dealers so far and spent $300 diagnostic fees. They also had me call Catco which is the company that builds the catalytic converters. I was told the same thing from Catco. These converters should not be sold and installed on this specific vehicle. I am so frustrated no help from the manufacture or advance muffler. read more

You be the judge. Take a look at the image: the nut was welded onto the bolt. Whether it was done intentionally or unintentionally, this was not what I had asked for. I can no longer remove the nut, since it is fused to the bolt. If I wish to get a new cat back exhaust in the future, I'll have to make a cut and get some new hardware. All I wanted was a crack in the exhaust to be welded up. Now, they've created more problems for me. I didn't notice this was done until a few weeks after the crack was welded up. I asked for a receipt once the job was completed. The attendant said that since it was just a simple patch up a receipt wouldn't be provided (which is against the law). Since I was forced to pay in cash ($20), I don't have proof of the transaction. A minimum requirement charge of $10 is permissible by law; however, $20 is not. Two laws broken and a nut was welded to the bolt. Save yourself the headache; go somewhere else. read more

So let's start with the fact that I did my homework and checked every place from the high desert all the way to San Bernardino. When I say checked I mean I called each one and drive to a lot of them. Most of the other shops were very dirty and no one was in a rush to help you. The places that looked professional and clean cost twice as much and 10 times longer to complete. Now back to this shop, when I called the owner he quoted me a price over the phone and when I got there they pulled my challenger right in. Gave me other options and I went with the option that I already had in mind. The price was the same as he told me over the phone. They had me in and out in about 30 minuets or less. People on these reviews say the owner is rude, but I think he is professional and straight to business with a little since of humor. I was also told that they could not get the parts for two months. I went to Advance Muffler and spoke with Alex and Junior and they were just amazing. Came here to fix the "leak" in my exhaust that I had made prior to the new AB1824. The driveway to the lift was a bit steep for my car as I had lowered it, but the service was quick and easy. I pulled in, they checked it, and then quoted me $30 for the cutting off of said segment of pipe and welding in a new pipe. Other places have quoted me $35-85 which is an outrageous price range for a simple fix especially for a student like myself. As soon as I agreed to the said price, they estimated the job to be done in 10 mins and 2 secs. I was able to stand there to watch them do the job and was really amazed at their speed and efficiency of time. Little under 10 mins, and the job was done and I was on my way back home! Will come back when I need to install a new resonator and downpipe! **NOTE: I came in on a weekday morning at 10am, so there was no wait time and called in beforehand. read more

Based on the strength of Yelp and Google reviews, I decided to give Advance a call for an exhaust modification on my Yukon. I called just after they opened to set up an appointment, but as advertised I was told I can come by whenever I was ready and to drive into the first empty bay I saw. Over the phone, Marcos gave me a quick rundown of everything they have in stock and any (if necessary) custom piping they can do. I showed up at noon and rolled right in to the first empty bay like we discussed. Met with Marcos and I went a little further discussing what I was looking for, and he presented me several options that were in the neighborhood of what I had in mind. For muffler swaps, they allow you to listen to different units before they hook it up to ensure you're satisfied. I chose a Borla unit that gave me the tone I was looking for out of my 6.2, and Marcos even suggested an alternate (same brand) muffler that carried the same sound which saved me a little cash. I was in and out in less than one hour and a great new growl from my truck. These guys are the real deal; the work is quick but done just as good, if not better, than some of the shops in Orange County where I've had previous vehicles worked on. The employees are down-to-earth and the prices are the most reasonable I've seen in the area. Both times after the technician cut away the old one, purposely slammed them to the ground to breaking up the inside components and then bringing them to let you inspect the damage.
