Not only is it a lively, welcoming, non-pretentious place (sometimes hard to find in the good salon world) but I honestly feel like I could get my hair done by any stylist in there and walk out with something I love. I've had cuts done by both Violet and Stephanie H. (both absolute rock stars) and I have never gotten this many compliments on my hair in my life! They really understand hair there. (I have wavy hair and only air dry now and I swear it looks better than when I used to heat style.) Janelle in reception is also fabulous and super helpful. The prices here are very reasonable for the excellent service they provide. Finally, they have the most amazing selection of hair products, fun clips, great brushes, jewelry, and styling tools, so you can peruse while you wait. Pop on by and check them out!

I've often ended up with hair shorter than I wanted in the past, but Dani really listened to what I was asking for. She delivered a beautiful long, layered cut that felt true to my goals while still giving my hair shape and movement. Even weeks later, I'm still loving it and constantly happy with how it looks. I didn't think it would be possible - but I liked this haircut even more than the last one she gave me (which I absolutely ADORED!). She just did a trim, and didn't take too much off in terms of overall length, but she added in a little bit more longer layers this time - which I love. When getting ready for work in the morning, I have the option of blow drying out my hair to make it sleek and styled OR just scrunching it up from the bottom and letting it air dry - and it dries on my way to work just perfectly. And, the highlight color she put in is just enough - it's noticeable but not in your face obvious that I got my hair highlighted, and looks totally natural while at the same time, lightening everything up. Thank you so much Susan for the best haircuts and colors I've ever received! Now that she's in Bend, I recommend everyone go to her and Bend will quickly become the Milan of hair! Okay, seriously, though. She's not only amazing at the cool stuff ladies get to do with their hair, but she's pretty awesome at the super nitpicky men's haircuts as well. She is super quick to learn where booby traps are (i have this one spot that will shoot straight up if you cut it just a centimeter shorter than I tend to want it) and will remember them and work with them.
