I said I would never go back but people keep talking so I gave in... After this past experience I still do not understand what all the fuss is about. This is a place where gyro pickles gets you full length quartered dills but diced tomatoes. Italian on the side gets you a heavenly soaked gyro and olives the size of a hammered thumb. The cherry today was a substituted a $5 rice pudding for the world's smallest baklava cake. I will admit it was cute before my first and last bites. Stopped for 1st time it's like Moe's,Chipotle but Mediterranean! Chicken was flavorful and nice size pieces not like Chipotle! I got a Greek pita was soft not hard with the chicken, rice lettuce,tomato,green peppers,purple onions and feta cheese with dill sauce was so much on it kept loosing my meat! My daughter got a bowl wth Rachel rice with little noodles in it with chicken,fried onions green peppers,lettuce,tomato feta cheese and dill sauce and some other sauce on the side. She really liked hers also she played price was little high for me but it is a different time than a year ago! The service was fast but I wish these line servers would speak up more especially since it was my 1st time but next time I got it! I point that out because we have visited other places with the same type of bar set up and they spill ingredients into other ingredients. I used to love Rachel's. It was reasonably priced and the food was awesome. I started to notice that every time I went the prices had increased a little. However, they have increased too much for me now and the food has gone down hill. It now costs over $15 for a salad and a drink. You are even charged for garlic sauce or tahini. These used to be included as a base item. Prices have gone up at other places but I shouldn't be paying almost $20 for a fast food salad and drink. Similar restaurant concepts such as Pita Gourmet, Moes, and Chipotle do not cost nearly as much. Two stars because the food still tastes ok. read more

I love my Rachel's, and you will too! For real. While it felt like forever for this location to open, I am so glad they did. So fresh! Their tabouleh is a must have add on. I love the wraps, but they also have salad bowls and rice bowls. I have tried their chicken, steak, and falafel, and the falafel is my favorite. The greek fries are rich, but tasty. I have been there three times,and the staff working has been consistent with masks and gloves. They are also friendly and the orders have been accurate. Rachel's is a nice alternative to burgers, Chinese, or pizza/sub places. The tzatziki is okay, but the dill sauce is amazing. The menu suggests which proteins pair beat with dill sauce,but I have to argue everything is best with dill. So happy they are so close by! read more

New staff members are rude and will not answer questions when asked about pricing. I am charged different amounts for extras each time I go. Prior staff members were nice, and acted like they were glad to see you. New staff members are very rude. I was referred to the corporate website to complain, but the customer service link is broken. I have been a Rachel's fan since they opened but recently the few times I've gone I've been disappointed with their quality. The portions have not been the same as they seem smaller for what you pay and the half of pita was not fresh, it was nearly stale. At first we felt that the location was not nearly as good food quality wise as its sistwr locations BUT over the year or so that theyve been open theyve improved very much. Who is running this place ? Every time I come here it's all these teenagers with no customer service. They don't say hi, they don't acknowledge you. I just stood there waiting for them to get off their cell phones and quit talking to one another before they even paid attention to me. I want to start off by saying that this location just opened. The employees are new, and as a general rule, service-employees deserve respect. No, they shouldn't be rude to you; but if they are it, is not representative of them-they deal with a lot of mistreatment from their jobs. Just some food for thought. Like they always say, tip properly or learn to cook. Rant aside: Rachel's follows the "Subway" cafeteria line setup, but with Mediterranean food. A few weeks after they opened my parent's and I planned to get some dinner in. Mom the vegetarian wanted a grilled vegetable wrap and fries, I just wanted a grilled vegetable wrap, and I am not sure what Dad would have got because he never ended up ordering. He brought the food back to us and came home disgusted. It was not busy when he went, but I will note that masks do make restaurants like this more difficult. It is hard to hear with masks regardless, and in service-styles like Rachel's, that can make the experience more difficult. Plus my Dad mumbles and he is a bit picky when ordering at these places- sorry Dad. However, he simply asked for the grilled veggie wrap, which is a option on their menu. He was asked if he wanted meat on them? He said no, and apparently was asked again down the line. Yes, people can add meat to their wraps. But to be asked repeatedly? Communication is key in these jobs. He was asked if he wanted lettuce on my mom's wrap, when there was already lettuce on the wrap. Again, I can't really understand that. Frustrated by the whole ordeal, he did not order anything himself. The wraps proceeded to sit there for a few minutes as if they forgot he was ordering at all. This would have been excusable if the food itself was good. The fries were nasty, undercooked, and cold, and the wraps didn't taste fresh. The vegetables were more raw than grilled. On top of that, $9.75 for each grilled veggie wrap plus mediocre $3.95 fries is money wasted. My mom was the most disappointed, and she is not one to complain. I doubt we will be coming back, but I may try it again and order something different. With the chaos in completing the orders, I worry meat could end up in my food. I consistently see reviews like this for Rachels, so I think the company as a whole needs to work on team training and food quality. read more

Love the wheat pita wraps. Food is good. Chicken sometimes overcooked. Seems later at night they don't keep food in stock so you may have to wait a bit for them to find it in the back or grill more meat. Portions and wrapping skills are inconsistent. Sometimes its great, sometimes way too much of one item. Sometimes wrapped perfect, sometimes you literally watch them just ball it up into tinfoil and wish you luck. read more

I'd leave a 0/5 if I could - they are out of ingredients every single time I've been to the restaurant. They are out of rice, chicken, peppers, AND cheese. I was so happy when the Transit Rd. & William St. in Lancaster opened. Less then 2 miles from my house, and light traffic. The other chain, P.G., was 7 miles away in heavy traffic. I always order the same meal at both. P.G.'s gyro platter, is more authentic, but, the trade off of the traffic wasn't worth it. P.G.'s The Open, was 3 good size lunches for me from one order. Initially, R's, The Rice Bowl, was 2 lunches from one order. But , the convenience was worth the smaller volume. But, since they starting spending $$$ on TV commercials and sponsoring, the last 4 times, it was 1 lunch portion. When I asked the employee to make it the original amount, or what they show on TV, each said they'd have to charge me more. ????? !!!! What a shame. Now I have to travel a longer distance, but it's a no brained. So disappointed in Rachel's now. read more

Rachel's is one of my local favorites and was very excited to have this location open. I have been to this location numerous times and each time I was equally disappointed. Various reasons, inconsistencies when you are used to other locations well run and operated.
