Why did I travel all the way here from across town I freaking love the dill sauce from here. The taziki is good as well however, the fill by far is my favorite. I can eat it with the rice and be happy.

The open mini w dill sauce on the side:)

I've always loved Pita Gourmet, especially this location. It's super clean, the food's always fresh, and the staff are genuinely so nice. I usually go for the garlic wrap (a classic), but this time I tried the open mini and it did not disappoint. It's definitely enough for dinner and leftovers. You get to pick between rice, salad, or both, add your protein, and top it with whatever veggies and sauce you want. I got dill on the side and it was so good. It might be a little pricier than typical fast food, but honestly it's so worth it. It's a way better option if you want something filling, fresh, and actually kind of healthy. Highly recommend!!!

This spot reminds me of a Mediterranean fast food option. Quick food that doesn't leave you feeling sluggish. They are so dang friendly here - both the cashier and food-prep staff were so kind and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Definitely felt like my business was appreciated. I highly suggest trying a pita with gyro and all the veggies. It made for a very satisfying lunch. And if you're like me and can never decide between dill sauce and tzatziki, get both; they will let you with an additional charge. So if it's between Rachel's Mediterranean Grilled or Pita Gourmet, Pita Gourmet all the way!!

I think I found my new favorite lunch spot. During COVID it seems like all the open takeout restaurants near me are of the fast food variety. Not a great feeling to eat a greasy lunch and sit at a desk all day at work. What an alternative! The online ordering is super easy. The cashiers are currently in training but work fast. Pickup is smooth. The soft drinks are fresh and cold. The food is fantastic! I've gotten the chicken souvlaki wrap with a heaping side of rice two days in a row. Ingredients are flavorful and fresh. And it gives me great energy and I feel full for the rest of the day.

I opted for the breakfast souvlaki with chicken. It comes with home fries. I was asked if I wanted onions in the potatoes. Absolutely yes. So many restaurants do not add onions or charge extra for some to be added. It was a very generous and nicely seasoned portion of potatoes. Eggs, how do you want them? Sunny-side up, please. 2 very nice sunny side up eggs. Pita or some other bread. I picked pita. A nice large one was served along side my lunch. Then there's the chicken. It was beautifully seasoned, all 5 pieces. Yes, 5 pieces and not "tenders". Each piece was approximately 1/2 a boneless breast. Our waitress was very attentive, asking a couple of times whether we were enjoying our meals. You do have to be prepared with cash. Cash or checks only; no credit cards.

I choose the souvlaki breakfast with beef. Marinated chunks of beef, 2 fried eggs (I had sunny side up), homefries with onions and pita. It was a generous serving, I took some home fries home. The beef was medium rate, as requested, and very tasty. I was a bit surprised about the amount of meat on the dish. My wife had the breakfast with chicken and had a lot more meat than my dish. I'm not complaining, I had more than enough meat, but there was a significant difference. Our waitress was attentive.

This restaurant lost a star because of this.

Walking home, we spotted Yianni's storefront and resolved to head there for breakfast in the morning - it looked cozy, and they had a breakfast menu plastered right outside! Arriving was a totally different experience, however. To be fair, we were there on a wednesday morning - but we were literally the only diners there (and the town was bustling with some sort of photography group...hundreds of people with cameras? Who knows). I was initially excited for what I was assuming to be a great little greasy-spoon greek breakfast spot. Turns out I was wrong on that account. The waitress ushered us to our table, asking if we would like a coffee. Of course, we said yes before even sitting down - however I would later find out that coffee was $2.50 a cup for mediocre diner-style brew. Ehhh, not impressed, and the way she said it I assumed (like at plenty of breakfast spots) that it was included. My fault for assuming, but whatever. Anyhow, when she came back I was quite excited to order the egg breakfast. I don't eat meat (and there was no plain egg dish without it), so I asked if I might be able to sub the bacon for another side, or an extra egg, or anything really. Bowl of fruit? whatever. Her response kind of bothered me, however: "Absolutely no substitutions." Seriously? Who says that? Roll it off your tongue, right now. You just -feel- rude. Needless to say I was disenchanted at the idea of paying $7 for two eggs and toast (no coffee, homefries extra, of course). After her little rebuttal, she said matter-of-factly that "if you don't eat meat, you should get an omelette." $10-13 for the omelette. Well, OK. $13 for breakfast is no big deal. Oh wait, that doesn't come with homefries either? Grumpily, my girlfriend and I each ordered a side of homefries for an extra $1.50 each. To her credit, the omelette didn't take long to make and it was in front of me pretty soon. There was plenty of feta in my Mediterranean omelette, and it was pretty tasty. The homefries, however, were FROM A BAG. We're talking McCain/Cavendish variety here. Not only that, they BURNED THEM into crunchy little cubes of grease, with little-to-no fluffy potato interior. It was actually like eating grease-soaked potato chips. I had heartburn for HOURS. I was unimpressed when the bill unceremoniously showed up at $38. I'm sorry, but $5 for two uninspiring coffees, over $15 per omelette... ...I would have paid that for an incredible, fresh, lovely breakfast at some inn by the lake. But given the atmosphere and the service and the quality of what I actually put in my mouth... ...PASS.

I placed a DoorDash pickup order scheduled for after 5:00 PM because I was at work and wanted fresh food for my mom's birthday dinner. The order was prepared significantly earlier than the scheduled pickup time (around 4:30 PM), which has also happened before with scheduled orders at this restaurant. When I called to ask about the timing, I was shown a restaurant receipt listing a "promised time" of 4:11 PM. I explained that 4:11 PM was the time I placed the order, not the scheduled pickup time. I was told to take the issue up with DoorDash and was directed to use their direct ordering system instead. When I arrived, I again explained the situation and was shown the same receipt. I asked to speak with a manager, but was told no manager would come out. During this interaction, I felt dismissed and disrespected. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was met with unprofessional behavior, including being laughed at when I tried to explain that I was simply trying to get a fresh meal after working and spending nearly $70 on dinner for a special occasion. The lack of management involvement and the way the situation was handled felt unprofessional. My issue is not just the timing error, but how the situation was handled and how I was treated as a customer. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so scheduled pickup orders and customer concerns are handled more appropriately in the future.
