Came for dinner on a Friday night and had a great experience. We came because we saw Zoe's on Spiel the Wine a few times and the food and wine looked great so we wanted to give them a try! I got the grouper and really enjoyed it, as well as the cream sauce, Greek potatoes and veggies it came with. Our waitresses were also nice and checked on us frequently. Great food and service. Started with clam chowder which was good. Had the Zoe Kotopoulo for my entre. Plenty of chicken with a delicious sauce with artichoke hearts and olives. She was training a new employee and might have been overwhelmed with explaining because it wasn't busy. We got an Orange Snoozious cocktail and it was delicious. Very refreshing and light. We ordered the special, a buffalo chicken salad and gyro salad. The Gyro I thought I was ordering was actually a deconstructed gyro salad. The presentation was not the greatest. Both were huge! I ordered a burger medium. Was very overcooked. $23 for an overcooked burger was ridiculous. Sweet potato fries were good. While we were there the manager/boss came out in the dining room yelled loudly for all servers to get in the back and proceeded to yell loudly at them for at least 5 minutes. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and not acceptable to treat your employees like this. The customers should not hear this as we are dining. Personally I would have walked out on the spot and let him serve the full dining room. I will not ever visit this restaurant again and have told many many people not to waste your time or money. Greeted by a pleasant hostess. Led to a table for two. The room was very nicely decorated. Today we were going to have breakfast. Dave, our waiter, brought us coffee and gave us time to make our decision. We both ordered the cheese bacon omelet. It came with home fries and toast. Dang, had to be the best omelet I've ever had! You can wear jeans and a T-shirt or get dressed up, the service is still impeccable, the food is exquisite! I write this review after months being at Zoe, they have passed the test of time. Pretty good food but a bit overpriced. I got the brioche french toast which was definitely good but not amazing. I do love their avgolemeno soup though! The turkey club was good and came with real roasted turkey. The sweet potato fries definitely could have been a lot crispier though. Takeout is consistently quick and easy, including ordering over the phone and the food being ready on time and accurate to the order. Also note that there isn't actually any outdoor seating. There's a very small patio more designed for waiting for a table to become available and a "sunroom" style room but it's fully indoors. I have been there three times. Despite the overflowing parking lot which should be an indicator of a great restaurant that has not been my experience. The most recent visit will be my last. The first visit was in the original restaurant and I was a dear friend. She is very professional, polite and even tempered. I felt what she later verbalized. We were being treated poorly because we overstayed our visit. Mind you NO ONE was waiting. Second visit was with my daughter. Service was slow on actually waiting on us. Hmmm We had the Greek souvlaki salad. It was good. Decent experience and I thought well maybe things have changed since first visit. Last and final was with my husband. The host seated us after a very long wait with ample seating. Finally seated but unfortunately we were not being waited on as booth after booth were attended too by different wait staff. These people were seated after us. Finally we received our coffee but the repeat of waiting continued. We paid for the coffee and left. The environment may be indifferent to people who are not "regulars?" ‍ If this is true, which I hope it isn't, management should take a look into it. read more

I always have heard that Zoe is the best Greek spot around Buffalo. Our usual Greek spot is Alton's. We finally tried Zoe and it did not disappoint! Our server, Jeremiah, took great care of us. We had spanakopita as an appetizer which was delicious. Our meals were the steak sandwich and the chicken souvlaki dinner. The portion sizes were huge! We both went home with leftovers that are big enough for an entire meal. Everything tasted amazing. The Sarasota was delicious and one of the most flavorful omelettes I've ever had. It was packed and mixed with spinach, feta, and broccoli. A few pieces of turkey throughout too, but I wouldn't have liked a bit more to make it more hearty. The sun-dried tomato pesto on top was the best part and boosted the flavor of all the ingredients. The omelette was big too, so very filling and worth the $17 price. It also comes with 2 pieces of toast of your choosing and home fries. The home fries were deliciously crispy and seasoned nicely. The toast was fine, could have used more butter or some jelly (which we used what we found on the table). My absolute FAVORITE place for breakfast. The eggs Benedict is absolutely amazing if that is something you enjoy. Whenever we go it is always busy but the food comes out so quickly and it's always excellent. The reaturaunt is large enough and has a ton of seating so you are not waiting a long time to eat especially on Sunday mornings for brunch. The only issue I have is when my friend and I went she was told she couldn't have her daughters bottle and that her daughter could not drink out of it which made me confused. They made her empty the cup and put it in one of their cups which again it was a child. That I believe is the only thing I would fix there. read more

Cannot take a gift card. According to our waitress they can not run any card that doesn't have a chip. Which means if you are using a common gift card and it doesn't have a chip they cannot swipe the card at all. Overpriced Greek breakfast place. Once we ate in and I got a typical breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, home fries, etc. and my partner got some basic pancakes and it cost us over $40. There is nothing about the flavor or presentation or substance of these meals that make it stand out from your run-of-the-mill breakfast place. One time we also ordered chicken and waffles to go for brunch. The chicken was bone in and dry as leather to the point that I couldn't pull the skin the crust or the meat off of the bone.
