We were standing at the counter for quite a few minutes, and no one came over to help us. We then went to a far side of another counter and someone said they would be over, and she was over promptly at that point. I wanted a smoothie, and there is a stand near the pastries. I had the Blueberry smoothie, $6.99. It was okay. I wanted something more refreshing and sweet, and this was not it. We arrived about 20 minutes after it opened. The produce here is fresh and comes of of farms whenever its in season it's local farms but out of season it's from farms down south. It always comes directly from farms and so therefore it's pretty fresh produce. The prices are reasonable and the young lady Mattie who works the stand is very polite and helpful. A local stand that stands out!

She was awesome and it was just nice to speak with her about the corn and random other things. Support your local farmers market... I turned around after I realized what I missed. This will be the first market you pass on the left hand side while driving towards OC MD, it will be the last one if you are driving back to Baltimore. "The Good" - The lady minding the stand was fantastic and very cool. - The veggies looked and later on, tasted, great! Zucchini, Squash, Tomato, White Corn... just good food. - Decent selection of veggies and local candies. - Little bushels that you bring up to the register and they get transferred to plastic bags. - They take credit cards. "The Meh" - The lot out front can only support a few cars, so I can imagine it gets crowded on the weekends. "The Bad" - Absolutely nothing at all bad to comment on.

One worker said she didn't know and the other said yes. I purchase $42 worth of peaches, plums, nectarines, tomatoe,and apples. On my way home to Frederick Md I started eating the fruit. NOT fresh and not locally picked! I then found stickers on most of the fruit. The tomatoes may have been fresh and local but not the rest. I was wanted those dripping fresh peaches and the two I have eaten were so bad I had to toss them. I will NOT be going back there for fruit! VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I stuffed all the produce in the refrigerator in a bag, as I seem to be a magnet for fruit flies and produce left out on the counter. Two weeks later, TWO WEEKS LATER, in an excursion to the beach, we grabbed the fruit and headed out. It was as it was picked yesterday. I needed multiple napkins for one peach and plum as the juice exploded with every bite. Yes it was that good. Add to this the generosity, cordiality, and hard work you sense coming off the Marvels' when you visit their stand, having experienced the generosity and abundance of the Mums in the Fall season, and Mums that added to the decor of a school Homecoming, you see based on the amount of produce, the quality of the produce, and the service you receive, this is one of the best finds that make the state Delaware.
